20 Best Yoga Mats Men (2022 Updated)

We ordered two yoga mats for my husband and I to use in a strength and conditioning class. We liked them right from the start. The 70 inch added length allows for full body placement on the mat. The half inch thickness provides added cushion on the linoleum workout floor.

We found the horizontal textured lines on the mat provided better grip for our shoes when our knees were bent. We use the knee pad rolled up and placed under our necks for added support. Both the mat and the knee pad roll up nicely into the Velcro carry strap that makes transport a breeze.

The 2 year warranty backs the duration of the mat quality. We highly recommend this product!.

I am very pleased with this yoga mat with its thick padding and it provides great support for my body when I use it for my various exercises. The knee pad also comes in handy for some of the exercises that involve my knees.

The carrying strap makes the yoga mat easy to store when not in use. Finally, the pricing for this yoga mat set was very competitive and high quality so I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good yoga mat.

I love the extra padding. It makes workouts more comfortable, keeping you well padded from the hard floors. It does not slip which makes it much safer when doing your workouts. The size. length. width.

depth are all great easy to move about on mat during exercises. It wipes off easily and is easily rolled up for storage. The carrying band is adjustable making carrying easier and also adjusts well for storage.

Pleasing relaxing color keeping you calmer for workouts. My daughter and I both love it.

This would be a 5 star review if I didn’t have to wait so long for delivery. The mat is a great size and cushioning is perfect. I bought it as a gift for someone. The wait for this item (and many others on this site) is way too long.

I always check Amazon for same items since I have Prime and delivery is prompt wit free return shipping. Zulily needs to improve in several areas. Delivery time, shipping, and quality of non name brand items would be a start.

Really nice and squishy. When doing my stretching and floor exercises it’s really comfortable. I wish they had colors other than red when I purchased mine since I don’t like red, but every other color was sold out.

I still would recommend to others (even in red, haha).

The mat came a little bit damaged and the mat doesn’t have very good grip. It’s a strange texture to have your hands on and it’s very very static-y. I realize it’s not a yoga mat, but I would still like more grip for when I’m on my hands.

I am using this now as a cushion under my regular yoga mat to help my knees since it is too static-y to exercise on directly. It’s very squishy. For the price I can’t complain too much.

I’m relatively new to yoga and wanted a nice mat that wasn’t too expensive, but also not too cheap either. I hate those Amazon mats because they have a chemical smell that just doesn’t go away. I am SO happy with this mat.

It is perfect and I’m surprised not more popular. It is VERY grippy, so I’m not sure how much these other reviews I’ve seen are sweating. If you are doing hot yoga, you need a yoga towel on top of this.

This mat is great for people who also do bodyweight workouts, because it provides excellent grip and cushioning. My favorite thing about this mat is that it doesn’t smell. I’m 6’0 and still fit on the mat, but there’s not much room when I’m lying down all the way but can still do downward dog and lunges with plenty of room to spare.

It’s super grippy and doesn’t leave marks or indentations where you just were. All around solid investment and a great starter mat if you don’t want to spend $200 on the Pro but also want to get serious about yoga.

Out of the box, it smells a bit like a car tire; however, the odor dissipates after about a week. It functions well. I used it a couple times for both yoga and pilates. Like other manuka mats it appears to be beneficial to wipe it down with a cotton cloth to make it less slippery.

After a few uses, it also provides a better grip. For comparison, my wife has used the prolite for many years, and the x mat has much more grip right out of the box than the prolite. The mat is not too sticky though, it has a good balance.

I have also used a jade yoga mat which has far more resistance. If you sweat a lot from your hands, the x mat may not work for you, or you may need to condition it more, but I think it will work well for most people.

I am 80kg and even on my knees, the matt has plenty of cushion.

I bought the Prolite a few years ago but my hands were sliding in some poses especially in down dog. I thought I’d try this X mat & had high hopes but unfortunately it has worse grip than the Prolite.

I’m not even a sweaty person! The moment my hands became warm they kept sliding off the mat I couldn’t hold my down dog almost the whole class. Even with just regular core workouts like plank to forearm plank it was difficult to do since my hands were sliding.

I should have listened to the reviews here. It has good thickness and joint support though hence the 2 stars.

I used to do yoga a lot in high school, and wanted to start doing it again earlier this year. I have to admit when I first got it I didn’t know how I liked the texture of it, but as time when on I really like it.

You don’t have to worry about slipping. I love how long it is. It’s pretty easy to clean. Sometimes the brown little fibers fall out, but nothing crazy. It can be hard to roll and stay in the place you want it when you go to put it away.

Other than that I really like this mat it’s nice and heavy didn’t feel like a cheap made mat.

I practice Yoga every single day and also instruct. I bought one of these mats and recommended them to every Yogi in my classes. What a pleasure it was when I walked into class and saw everyone had taken my advice and purchased one.

They are non-slip and a perfect thickness. I do not like a very thick mat. I highly recommend them. I have two in my car and two in my home. Yoga is a portable routine and one never knows when the opportunity may arise to “roll out” my mat.

I absolutely love this mat, but I must admit that I can see how someone with very soft/sensitive skin may struggle to adjust to its mildly abrasive texture. My palms, elbows, and knees peeled a little bit after the first use (but not my feet since those are already accustomed to rough surfaces).

But it wasn’t painful, and I didn’t feel any discomfort while actually on the mat. I love that I never have to worry about sliding around on this mat-I sweat a lot, so a non-slip surface is a must for me! It stays flat when rolled out (no curling at the edges in my experience with it so far), and is also very easy to clean after each workout.

I also love the way the mat looks. It’s very pretty, and the colors are exactly as seen in the images.

Our new mats were delivered promptly and very well packaged. My daughter and I are enjoying the thickness, which helps the mat not slide around and encourages us to do yoga more often since the extra cushioning makes it very comfortable to lie and sit down on.

This mat was a true gamechanger for me. I struggled with folding multiple towels and moving them around for an exercise, and still found myself hurting during sit-ups or any work on my knees, to the point of doing exercises wrong because I was compensating for the pain.

This mat has allowed me to forget about everything except the exercise itself. I was worried that it would take awhile to flatten after being rolled up, and that the foam would take time to bounce back after use, but it doesn’t.

Had it for about a month now, use it 2-3 times a week for strength, barre, and yoga-type exercise.

I did a bit of research before buying a new yoga mat. Many criteria had changed in the 6 years since I bought my previous one. This has all natural ingredients and is slightly thicker. There is a sticky texture to surface which makes poses easier to stand on.

The double pattern either side is nice to change, depending on your mood. Overall a great buy at a decent price. I would very much recommend this mat.

I was searching for the perfect mat to replace my old one and I found it! It is thick and cushioned while still supportive, and cleans easily. It’s colours are gorgeous and the mat texture is spot on.

I have a concrete floor in my home gym and it doesn’t slide around!.

Perhaps it’s just me, but it seems a little silly to spend £50 on a yoga mat when there are far cheaper options. If you’re willing to put up with the stickiness and gradual wearing of a cheaper mat then that’s great, but my partner has been doing a lot of yoga and she decided she needed something sturdier.

So far she’s used this every day for a month and there’s been none of the stickiness of a cheaper material, nor none of the bits coming away as tends to happen with a cheaper mat. Regarding the smell that other reviews have mentioned, there was a slightly unpleasant scent but it wasn’t pervasive and it faded in a matter of days.

I have had mixed experiences with Gaiam mats in the past, but make a point to read a wide variety of reviews before purchasing one. I had one similar to this in the past and was pleased with, and feel the same way about this one.

The recommendation to air it out and wipe with a wet cloth before first use were helpful, as it still had a slight chemical smell after laying out over night. The mat is grippy and prevents slipping during poses like down dog, although if you’re really sweaty, like after a run, there’s only so much grip you can expect from a wet surface.

Color options are really pretty, and I like the cushion a slightly thicker mat provides.

After looking at a number of mats for floor work-outs, I settled on the two-tone yoga mat. I like the colors (purple). As many others noted, the nubs starting coming off within a month or two of using it.

This only effects the looks and not the functionality. I imagine the nubs are there to reduce slipping, but it does seem like a flaw that they start coming up relatively soon. It had a minor odor when it first arrived but airing it out eliminated that within a few days.

I use it on a carpet so it’s hard to comment on cushioning for sit-ups etc. on a hard floor. But I imagine it would be fine. There are some problems with being too sticky for certain exercises (only a few).

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and ordered a second one to leave at our vacation house.

Beautiful color, excellent padding but very poor performance. As other reviewers have mentioned, this mat is very slippery. I’m not a sweaty person, and I use this mat for doing brief 30 minute sessions at home, so I do break into a soft sheen.

My palms break into a minor sweat, and I have trouble holding a down dog. I have to constantly re adjust my palms because they keep slipping forward. I hope that the mat’s texture improves over time to become less slippery.

I even followed the instructions on the packaging to wipe it down with a damp cloth and let air dry completely before first use. Slipped all over the place, even my back foot at one point transitioning from Warrior 3 into Crescent Lunge.

Very disappointed in performance out of the box, but hoping with time some of the slipperiness goes away. If it DOES improve, I will revisit to amend my review rating.

Been using this for about a month now 3 times a week and it’s a life saver for me. I have a tile floor which means lots of bumps which would make yoga super difficult with a thinner mat. This mat has made it possible to do yoga on the tile floor without any issues.

Some people have written that this mat had a strange smell to it that they couldn’t get rid of. I didn’t have the experience when it came the mat smelled rather nice, like incense, which I don’t mind at all.

So I’m not sure if that was a old review but this mat doesn’t have an unpleasant smell to it at all. The design is quite beautiful and the color combination makes me smile. For what it’s worth I would highly recommend this mat for anyone, especially those with challenging floors like mine.

Love my new yoga mat! The thicker 6mm mat is much more comfortable than my old thin mat and the design is beautiful. I would give this 5 stars except that I was disheartened by the choice of packaging Gaiam uses-a big piece of plastic wrapped around the mat.

The plastic is not recyclable but in truth I would rather see a paper wrapper that is not only recyclable but that also breaks down easily as recycling plastic is problematic to begin with. Granted, when purchasing a yoga mat you are buying a big piece of plastic but you can put old mats to use in many ways.

It just feels a little tone deaf for a company named “Gaiam” wraps their product in a piece of plastic. I think they can do better.

Really like this mar so far! I wiped it down with a damp cloth on both sides & left it to dry overnight. Next day it was sticky but very soft. I like the 6 mm thickness for extra padding for my knees! Overall super happy with my new mat! I have a very sensitive nose & am not bothered by any residual smell.

I put my face down to the mat today (day 5 or so after opening it up) & I could smell something but not bothersome—my nose had to be right on the mat to smell it. I couldn’t detect it even in downward dog.

I like this mat. Its not super thick , although I sometimes wish it was. But its easy to fold for extra padding. My only issue it I slip on it. After a little bit of yoga I get a little damp and my feet start slipping out from under me when in a pose.

Which isn’t ideal to hold a strong pose.

I am pretty sure I have the same yoga mat Bowling Green don’t come at me if it’s not the same brand. But I’m pretty sure it is. I’ve been practicing yoga for about four years and it’s or even maybe longer.

And it lasted me all these years. I want one of my cats well go a little bit crazy and Clyde the yoga mat. But it’s held up pretty well.

I mean, I can’t say it’s the absolute worst mat ever. Compared to the ones at Target or any budget store fitness mat, these are better because they are eco friendly and don’t have a gross smell. But my very first yoga practice on these, the surface snagged and came off.

I guess I’m really used to mats of better quality (not a fan of this standard material since it breaks easily. The travel mats I bought on Thrive a year ago were amazing. But this is a good price for an eco friendly mat that you don’t mind getting beaten up.

I keep it at home, but it would be a good travel mat if you need to go to the beach or somewhere.

Purchased this mat in June 2020. The pattern and colour is pretty, great cushioning, smelly at first but not anymore. The major problem is, it’s very slippery to the risk of injury. I’ve given it plenty of chance (lol) but no, this morning I finally slipped! I use this mat in the gym.

I have another mat from Sweaty Betty which I use in the house and it’s my favourite ’cause it’s very grippy. Very disappointed as I thought Gaiam is a good brand and it didn’t come cheap!.

So I have this yoga mat but in different colors. I do really like this mat, it is thick so when you’re doing poses that require you to have knees bent, it does a really awesome job cushioning those bony areas.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because it was supposed to be “sticky” but it is really slippery. I followed all the directions to a T and even added water to the surface but I do still slide.

But because I like the thickness of the mat, I purchased a hot yoga towel and have not looked back since. I would really consider purchasing this mat if you are doing hot yoga but purchase a towel as well to keep your hands and feet from slipping.

Overall, though, this is a really a nicely priced mat as it is not totally outrageous like some of the other mats I have seen.

I bought this yoga mat when I had yoga class years ago. At that time, I was still a college student. And then I moved and now I pretty much do excercise at home. It has a strap so easy to carry around which is the reason I bought it at that time.

I found it is a little bit thin and when I put it on the wooden floor, my knee feels hurt a bit. I am not sure if they have a thicker one or not since I do not a new one yet. I will definitely look for a thick one when I need it later.

Love this yoga mat, specifically I like that it has the carrying handle which you can put over your shoulder. It’s very comfy as it made from ticker material but it’s bit heavy and bulky to carry. Price is bit expensive but it last long.

Definitely recommend.

My husband and I have just started yoga, and needed mats. I ordered these not sure of what I would be getting. However, they are perfect. Comfortable, beautiful colors, and the elastic straps for carrying are perfect.

Just received this item. Ordering and delivery went great. I’ve not used the mat yet for a yoga class. I have tried it out (sitting, standing, kneeling) and it is incredibly comfortable. I wanted the extra cushion for my knees and I don’t feel pain or discomfort when kneeling on the mat.

The cushion also helps my feet grip the mat. I’m very happy with the purchase so far.

The thickness of this mat is nice but it’s very slippery. I ended up putting my yoga mat on top because my hands were slipping so much. But since it’s on the bottom (on hardwood floors) it slides around a lot.

Definitely not grippy like a yoga mat.

Veryy Comfortable. The straps hold it together well, when not in use. Does not move around much, even on carpet. I use it for Pilates, ab exercises, and cardio – and have no issues at all. This definitely helps with my lower back issues, especially in Pilates.

For people with knee issues like myself, the thickness of this mat helps a LOT with that. Highly recommend to anyone with similar body issues, or if you just need a decent mat for working out.

Everyone talks about how slippery this mat is. Its got some slip to it that Im sure will wear down as advertised, but mostly I feel this mat is making me more aware of proper weight distribution in poses.

I dont do hot yoga and, in fact, Im not particularly good at yoga at all. But Ive been practicing for a year now and after using this mat for the last week I dont want to use any other. For anyone contemplating, how can it be much different than my 6mm $25 Gaiam mat; it is.

Its completely different. Its heavy, so I dont want to lug it anywhere but my basement. Its not break your back heavy, but its noticeably heavier if you roll your Manduka up and immediately roll another mat.

Its pricey, but so is a Cadillac. The $25 Gaiam 6mm is fine. Upon laying your hands on the mat you dont will not become the best yogi in town nor feel a sense of euphoria take over your body. But its a quality product for which you are knowing paying a premium price.

85 vs Normal Length. I bought this for the extra length. Im only 510 but my face would always hang off the front of my mat in low plank. The extra length is just something I wanted and it was worth it to me.

In conclusion, the people saying its an ice rink are over dramatic or they sweat like Shaq at the free throw line doing hot yoga and would slip on a yoga mat covered in rock salt. This mat makes me more aware of my body weight distribution and allows me to truly engage all the muscles in poses because of it.

If you have spent a few weeks contemplating spending the money on this mat you should probably get it.

I have the Pro Extra Long as well as the ProLite. I have been using the Pro Extra Long for the past few years and I have to say it’s my Dogs-Down (LOL) favorite mat. I find that the extra length is great for so many different poses, especially for poses like cobra where I’m pressing the tops of my toes into the mat.

The longer mat means that my toes are on the mat, while with my ProLite 71″ mat, I find that I have to adjust my position to get my toes on the mat otherwise it’s painful pressing into the hard floor.

The 2″ width difference is also noticeable between the two. I find myself missing the wider Pro Extra Long when I’m using the ProLite The main value to me is that the ProLite is certainly much lighter than the Pro Extra Long.

That makes it easier to carry. But that 1. 3 mm in difference in thickness really does make a difference in comfort. The only reason I bought the ProLite is for travel. While not as light as the actual travel version, I didn’t want to give up the increased comfort of a thicker mat, which is why I went with the ProLite.

Still, if I could have it all, I’d take the Pro Extra Long for the length, width and comfort.

I can’t even begin to describe how happy I was the day I GOT RID of this mat! I am a yoga teacher with a very consistent practice, and I bought this mat because so many I know people love it. But my experience was that it was one of the slipperiest mats I have ever used.

I couldn’t safely jump, let alone float forward from my down dog. I salt scrubbed it 3-4 times, and even resorted to pressure washing it with scalding hot water. It seemed like it should have been VERY grippy, and most reviewers say that it is supposed to be, but it never worked for me at all.

I am one of the sweatier people out there, but this mat is supposed to be great for that. for me, it was almost unusable. Maybe I have oilier skin than most people do, is that a thing? Its not like I had lotion on my hands and feet, but there was nothing I could do to keep from slipping.

In warrior poses or down dog, my hands and feet just gradually slid apart every time. When I traded it in, I felt like I got rid of a white elephant! I don’t mean to be a hater, so I generously gave it 2 stars instead of one, just because apparently it works for many people.

On the other hand, my cork mat and my Jade traveler are perfect, so I guess there will be no more experimenting for me.

I have been in contact with this company since August asking questions about what mat would they consider to be the best for Pilates, what chemicals are in the EVA Plant Foam, and if the Encompass will come in the Aura Plant Foam configuration.

Now, it did take awhile to get the details in the Plant Foam, (which I understand due to the world right now) but other than that I have been very amazed by the customer service and quick response of this company! I’ve been looking at the Aura with the Plant Foam back without a design, but because of the Black Friday sale, I was able to look at getting a design which I previously wasn’t looking at due to being unemployed.

I realized that I love the Encompass design with Plant Foam back but it comes in the Original not in the Aura which I was told would be a good mat for Pilates. Being unsure of which one would be better for me, I decided to purchase the “Try Before You Buy” in the Original and Aura.

I ordered them on Monday, November 22 and I asked if I could try one with a Plant Foam backing (as it’s not an option on the Try Before You Buy), and had a delivery date for the following Monday. I didn’t get a response on if I could get it with Plant Foam bock or not, but today they came in the mail on Black Friday-a full 3 days early!!!! I also received a special handwritten note from Hillary saying she had included the Aura with a Plant Foam back! I was so touched that they had included it for me to try it out with the mat I was originally looking at.

I can say now with confidence that I know I want the Aura with the Plant Foam back and the Encompass design. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with the Encompass design, yet, but I’m hopeful it will soon with the same 40% off discount :).

When I first looked at Encompass, I didn’t notice all of the beautiful and subtle details it has, but zooming in, allows you to appreciate its beauty. Also, I looked all over the internet for an eco friendly friendly product that would have the least amount of toxic chemicals as possible (hours and hours of searching) and this company really appealed to me, not just because of the cork, but because of the Plant Foam which I think is truly amazing.

They are going out of their way to find another way to make what would be a not so environmentally friendly mat into a great addition to anyone’s home fitness environment. Overall, I am excited to own the Try It Before You buy it mats and be apart of this company that is trying to change the mat industry! I am recommending this company and it’s mats to my College Pilates classmates and hope that they will be able to support this company along with my teacher possibly/hopefully recommending it to her clients in her studio.

Oh and both mats feel great! and comfortable 🙂 and I can’t wait to get one and workout on it!.

This mat is by far the best yoga mat I have ever used. I have very sweaty hands and plams. Like if I wear a latex glove, within 5 min sweat starts dripping down my arm even on a cold day. So I am in a unique position to say this is the only yoga mat that I have ever felt properly supported by.

I have always had issues with slipping on other mats within the first few seconds. It’s kinda ridiculous tbh how much of a struggle it’s been in the past. And this mat makes me feel like i can finally start releasing deeper in to poses that I just havent felt safe doing unless I’m on the grass.

But that’s not always an option in a class setting or depending on the weather. Truly this mat has brought more light into my life and I will be grateful for the rest of my days. And while that is a bit cliche to say, it’s kinda true cuz the quality of the product is supreme.

I doubt I’ll ever have to buy another mat again. I got the cork-rubber hybrid and It seems extremely rugged which it will need to be cuz I’m gonna be dragging it all around the country going to festivals in my tiny home 😊🤟 My only critique is that there wasnt an option for the larger size to have a picture on it.

As a someone who is 6’2″ I got the largest size cuz normal sized Mats just feel like I barely fit and just dont feel comfortable for my shoulder with and height. This one feels great but I really wanted one with a yin-yang on it; it wasn’t available for the big mat 😥 so I chose function over form and got the large one.

As for the function of the mat. I truly dont beleive anyone who purchases one of these will regret it.

Like everyone else, I started doing online workouts during the pandemic, and my old yoga mat was just too small and skinny to handle other types of exercise. I tried a few different alternatives, and this one was the best.

It’s not so large that it’s difficult to store in your home, but for me (5’4″) it’s big enough to allow movement, as in kickboxing sequences. It’s about 1/4″ thick, which is comfortable but not too squishy, and doesn’t slide around on my hardwood floor.

There was a little chemical smell when I first opened it, but it wasn’t bad, and faded pretty quickly. I clean it with a spray bottle of vinegar and water, and that seems to work. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that sometimes it doesn’t uncurl quite all the way, due to being stored rolled, but you can easily make it lay down with any kind of weight.

I’m really happy with the purchase.

Disclosure: I’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks so far; and this is my first yoga mat, so I can’t rate it relative to other options. I’m new to yoga, so to start out I bought the cheapest 72″-long, 1/4″ thick mat available.

I’m just under 6′ tall and weigh 195 pounds, and this mat covers my needs. I’m very happy with it, so I wonder why people spend so much more money on other yoga mats. The only two possible criticisms I can come up with are petty and, obviously, didn’t lower my 5-star rating.

1) The mat had (and still has a lesser) chemical-ish, rubber odor. Frankly, I quite enjoy it, but I’m sure that many people wouldn’t. At any rate, when I smell the outside of the rolled-up mat now, I can’t detect the odor.

It’s only detectable now when I unroll it, so I’ll guess that if I had kept the mat unrolled for a couple of weeks, the odor would have “aired out” by now. 2) The mat is a little “sticky. ” It seems to attract and grab onto lint etc.

I give it a couple of shakes before rolling it up and that takes care of it. I don’t think I’d want to use this mat outdoors though.

just got the mat this evening. a gorgeous bright yellow with a touch of orange blended in. and it is thick and it is extra long. i like the thickness, the color and the price. its getting 3 stars for now bc it is off-gassing really bad.

i had to take it out of the bathroom bc the smell was seeping into the living room. tomorrow i will wash it in vinegar and baking soda and that should absorb the odor though i hope i dont have to do this.

sometimes mats are made from materials that never stop off gassing and the odors are toxic. this page on Target only says the mat is LATEX FREE. if it is made of DVC then I will return it. a safe material is natural rubber or jute.

will return to the review in a few days time to say if the odor completely. left. i do not recommend it at this time.

Very happy with this little mat. It’s very grippy and holds feet and hands firmly in place. I put it over a mat from the yoga studio so it saves me lugging a big mat around. It’s thin so you’ll need a mat under if you have sensitive knees but for me it’s perfect to take with me on my travels.

It has left a little rubber residue on my hands after use but nothing major. I’m just going to wipe it down with a damp cloth to clean as don’t want to risk ruining it in the washing machine. Other reviewers have mentioned that a machine wash has ruined theirs.

This is an extremely packable and durable mat with a superior grip. Love love love! I previously had the Maduka eKO SuperLite travel mat and was looking for something similar – this did not disappoint! Yes, it is an extremely thin mat, so I wouldn’t suggest it if you’re looking for more cushioning, but it does the trick for me! I will say that I’ve tried folding it over a couple of times for headstands and it is more than comfortable.

I know some people like to use it on top of other mats. It can be quite versatile, so I think it’s worth having!.

Bought this yoga mat for my husband for Valentine’s Day because I thought it would be a nice, plush, heavy mat that would be comfortable and lay flat easily with the heavy weight. – it heavily attracts things to stick to it (Dog hair, small bits of dirt, etc).

– it starts to get squeaky if you get sweaty at all – it isn’t even soft. It is less soft than our much thinner, cheaper mats – it doesn’t unroll and stay flat very well – I got the long one for my 6′ tall husband.

I am 5’3″ and laid on it and it does not seem very long. – Way more expensive than our other mats At least my husband and I got a laugh that this was a total dud.

First of all the items arrived in good time per it’s own arrival estimate. The item itself is a nice mat and good size to do yoga and/or whatever you need to do with it. I am 6 ft tall and could lay my entire body on it.

The only reason I didn’t accept it was because it was too hard for what I wanted it for. I have a very bad lower back problem and wanted the mats for that issue so it just wasn’t what I needed. However, I would believe it would be good for someone that wants to use it for yoga or whatever exercises you want to do on it.

The main problem I have is with the return policy. They take half of the price of the item to use their return labels. At least they did with this item. I thought that was a bit steep. Other than that everything in the delivery and return process was fine.

I was so excited to use this mat. It is so soft and thick that I was pumped for my knees to feel wonderful on this. Alas, my first quiet class with this mat wasn’t wonderful. Everytime I moved my feet it would squeak.

I feel like the material is also slowly tearing. It’s almost like it’s stretching. Very comfy, but I don’t think the quality is great.

I ordered mat as a Christmas present for my daughter. I opend the box using a knive. I accidentally cut the mat. The mat was tight in the box and there was no wrapping/padding around the mat. I called, left voicemail and sent email to customer service.

After several days, got a return email. Customer damage is not covered. I asked for a discount as I wanted a new mat. 10% was the best they could do. I decided to take my business else where. The open way to get the box open without cutting it would be to tear it.

Poor packaging!! Beware.

I really wanted to give this product five stars. I love the alignment markings, I’ve just started taking yoga practice ‘properly’ and gone back to basics with a beginners class. The markings are super helpful.

The mat is a gorgeous colour and extremely comfortable. I can’t help feeling a bit disappointed though because I still find my hands slipping in downward dog ☹️ This is the only reason for my four star review instead of five.

I read many reviews and only a couple said they also found it slightly slippy, I thought perhaps that was because of hot yoga or something. On reflection I wish I had chosen Terra Grip instead for me personally.

I have used the mat three times now, perhaps it will become less slippy with more use. Very impressed with the company, great ethics, no plastic packaging and I’ve planted my tree 😊.

I could swear these reviews are fake. I cannot express how much of a disappointment this mat was to me. I was really excited when I felt the cushioning. Excited until I moved into down dog. YallMy hands were sliding soo badly.

Before this mat I had a 5 dollar mat from five below. Very minimal sliding in down dog with my five dollar mat. Then when I wanted to return the mat I find out I am responsible for shipping it back which isn’t unheard of but now I’m just out 20 dollars with nothing gained.

I cannot wrap my mind around how this mat has so many good reviews. Perhaps all these people only use their mat for restorative or nidra practices. Steer clear vinyasa lovers.

I read so many good reviews on this mat’s thickness and no slip surface so I decided to upgrade my current mat of several years. I couldn’t be more disappointed with the product AND the company. This mat is not nearly thick enough to support my knees and I slip in every down dog type of position.

When I asked the company they gave no recommendations on how to improve the slip and offered a refund- in which I had to pay the $20 in return shipping… which I did several weeks ago and have yet to hear ANYTHING from the company… so I’m not only out the cost of the mat, but the return shipping as well.

I never write reviews, but wish I would have read honest reviews like this before purchasing.
