20 Best Yogurt For Toddlers (2022 Updated)

When I was offered a chance to buy and try the Earth’s Best Organic Fruit Yogurt Smoothie, in mixed berry, I couldn’t resis! I am always on the lookout for products that are shelf stable and don’t require being refrigerated.

The fact that Zoe, from Sesame Street, was on the pouch, well who doesn’t love Zoe!?! The pouch holds 4. 2 ounces of yogurt smoothie, so it’s perfect for even an adult sized snack! The smoothie is made with real yogurt, and no artificial colors or flavors, so it’s legitimately a healthy snack! It’s even sweetened using just fruit puree, so there are no added sugars.

At 90 calories, this could easily be stashed in a desk drawer and enjoyed while you work! I have to say, I have mixed thoughts on the pouch itself. The spout is straw shaped, and I was under the impression I should use it like a straw.

Thia worked well, for the first half of the smoothie. I then had to roll the pouch and squeeze the other half out. Not that big of a deal, but it would make this less convenient to hand a small child, who demands independence! You’re reading this and probably wondering how does this stuff taste!? It tastes like yogurt! I was prepared for a funny taste, since I remember shelf stable milk products from awhile ago! Packaging has really come a long way! Speaking of packaging! That straw-like spout? Well, it has screw threads, that allow you to use the cap to close the smoothie and save it! That means if distractions occur, and they always do, you can set it aside for later.

It does say you should refrigerate after opening, and use within 24 hours. I can see these being an in-car favorite of mine, at least in the fall and spring! I like to leave different snacks in the car, for those snack attacks.

While looking for the best fruit “pouches” for my toddler, I wanted to avoid the pouches that are bigger because she has such a little hands. I wanted the pouches to not be too full yet full enough. We tried these once and my toddler has been obsessed ever sense.

We definitely have bought a plethora more of Earth’s Best pouches, especially this brand!.

I am not personally a huge fan of the flavor and texture of the product, maybe if it was chilled in the fridge before trying it may have tasted better. My kids did end up trying one also and they honestly liked it themselves.

This has a lot of sugar but if you are traveling, this product has so many uses. We freeze them for a cold refreshing pick-me-up you grab out of the ice chest and we enjoy them in place of ice cream.

You would want to pack them on top so that sharp ice edges don’t poke a hole in them. For me, really icy cold things to eat or drink really help when covering several hundred miles in one day. Of course they were meant for children, duh.

Yoplait Go-gurts used to be my favorite addition to my school lunches in elementary school. However, it began to get to a point where all I began to think about were Go-gurts. They began to take control of my subconscious which ultimately caused me to seclude myself away from any trace of civilization, but not before buying a fresh supply of Go-gurts.

Soon after, I found an ideal clearing in a forrest hundreds of miles away from the nearest traces of civilization, which made my new Go-gurt friends very happy. I then began the difficult task of building myself a new house solely out of the Go-gurt boxes I had just bought.

This proved to be extremely hard, as Go-gurt boxes are not a very suitable building material and would probably collapse mere seconds after completion, but my love for Go-gurts pushed me on. This continued on deep into winter, until I was attacked by a pack of wolves.

My Go-gurt friends didn’t like this and immediately joined my side in the fight. One after another, the wolves came at us, but my Go-gurt friends stood their ground and picked them off one by one until only a single wolf remained.

After negotiating with the wolf for hours, he too agreed to join in on the efforts to finish building my Go-gurt dream house. The day finally came when the house was finished and a great celebration followed, but it was short-lived.

Without warning, we were attacked by a great army of Go-gurts. As my the enemy began engaging my army of Go-gurts, I wondered why these Go-gurts were attacking us; after all, we were all fellow Go-gurts, why couldn’t we just live in peace? It wasn’t until I picked up a fallen enemy Go-gurt and checked the expiration date that I realized these were the Go-gurts I had left at my previous home back in civilization.

Everything began to make sense; after not returning after a certain amount of time, my Go-gurts back home must have gotten worried and gone after me. As each second got more and more Go-gurtier, I made the bold decision to escape and run far away, assisted by my wolf friend only to make it back in time to make this review.

As we speak, a great battle is ensuing between two great armies of Go-gurts. If I don’t update in 7 days, it means the enemy army of Go-gurts have found me and forever bound me to their will. BUT, let this not discourage you.

Let this be a reminder that Go-gurts are not to be messed with. Purchase this product at your own risk.

Perfect side with breakfast, lunch or dinner. My kids love them by themselves as a snack or with a meal. We love that they come in a few different flavors so it’s not always the same. They are pretty easy to open, most times my kids can open it themselves.

My 5 year old needs a little help sometimes but can usually open it himself. Great fruit flavor. During warmer school times I would freeze them and put them in lunch boxes and they would be cold still so the kids loved it.

The kids like them partly frozen on hot days also.

I know this is mostly targeted for kids but let me tell you that its for adults enjoyment too!! Shh no judging here! I like how small they are and take no space in your purse, pocket or even lunch bag/tote! They taste pretty good! I like this with my half sandwich and a salad! Just the right amount of sweetness and protein.

Danimsls taste good and this is delicious. I can drink these back to back. They are semi thick in quality and full of flavor. You will luck your lips drinking this stuff and kids enjoy it also. I recommend this flavor and the plain strawberry.

I love the size and flavor of these little smoothies. I am a huge fan of strawberry drinks and of strawberry yogurt but the sizes are too much at any restaurant to order. These are the perfect size! These were my go to after surgery too, when I needed something filling but wanted to be health conscious as well.

I’ll always buy these for myself as a guilt free snack that just feels great to have!.

My three year old daughter absolutely loves Go-Gurt and specifically asks for it at the grocery store. I love it too because I feel better with her eating this yogurt over other snacks that are pretty unhealthy.

Another great thing about this snack is it is so easy to just grab when we are headed out the door to run errands or something. She can eat this without making a mess and just toss it in the trash. I like that we do not have to dirty dishes to use it.

I would recommend it to others because it is a snack that tastes good and it is something that is a lot healthier for our children to be eating.

I am so glad that my children love this yogurt! I can feel good about giving this to them for a snack no matter the time of day. It is reasonably prices, and is good for them and the sweetness makes them feel like they’re getting a treat without me having to give them candy.

We bought these at Costco for our daughters. They’re lower in sugar than most other yogurts marketed towards kids, and they’re pretty tasty too, as I’ve thrown them in with my lunches. There are no artificial colors – the yogurt is still white.

Recommend picking up a box when you see them!.

My kid only drink this kind of yogurt since 1 year old. She does not drink whole milk but this. I don’t know why. We ask her doctor if she has enough calcium intake because she does not drink milk, and doc said ok.

I drink this myself sometimes and it tastes yummy. It’s good probiotic for the body too. I don’t know why but I can only get this kind stock at Target, no where else. Please don’t never ever stop selling this.

My girl consumes about 4-5 bottles a day, she is super healthy, 90% tile in height, perfect weight 40lbs at 4 years old. I do believe this dairy consume plays a big factor in her height besides genetic.

Stonyfield Organic Kids Very Berry Lowfat Smoothies in the 3. 1 ounce 12-pack are both tasty and convenient. I was very surprised at how much all of my kids enjoyed them. I actually am pleased to have found a snack that is both ready and easy to feed as well as their favorite.

I’ve served them along side a bowl of cereal for super quick morning breakfasts, but they are just as great as an evening treat. I like the foil top. I can poke a hole in the middle and add a small straw, open it and pour into a different container, or simply serve right from the bottles.

My kids love yogurt tubes, but are not really big on eating actual yogurt, go figure! I have bought many different brands for them, and yes I have tried them all too. I continue to buy them cause I figure at least they are getting some yogurt, but don’t really feel confident that they are healthy for them.

I know the Stonyfield Organic Kids Strawberry Low Fat Yogurt Tubes are for kids, but these things are delicious! Not only do my kids love these, but I do as well. I like keeping these on hand for quick snacks that my kids can grab and go with.

They are also great on-the-go snacks or to pack in lunch boxes. They have a perforated top that make it easy for my kids to open on their own. My kids love them as is, but we all really like them frozen as a yummy yogurt pop.

I love that these yogurt tubes not only have filling protein, but live and active cultures to benefit their digestive systems. Plus they do not contain high fructose corn syrup. This is a product that we all love and will continue to purchase for my kids (and myself too!).

Purchased because I’ve seen this recommended by other parents repeatedly and was drawn in by the ‘healthy’ and ‘organic’ marketing. Should have checked the ingredients before purchasing – 6g of added sugar! Being organic doesn’t make cane sugar any less harmful, especially for infants.

The AAP recommendation is no added sugar before 2 years old. Ignoring this recommendation can lead to preferences that cause your child to have health issues throughout their life.

I’m almost 21 and have been eating this yogurt for years; as many years as I can remember. My absolute favorite flavor is Banana, but in my local grocery stores, they no longer have plain banana, just a “3 strawberry/banana, 3 strawberry” pack of Yo Kids.

It’s been this way for probably about six years and I miss the banana so much :(. That being said, I still love the “3 pear, 3 peach” pack. I highly highly recommend this yogurt it is truly the best.

My son loves this yogurt! When he was younger, he had to be on iron supplements. The medicine smelled and tasted HORRIBLE. This yogurt easily hid the taste and smell and made my son actually want to take the iron.

Now that he’s not on the supplements anymore, he still loves these as part of his breakfast!.

super disappointed as we love to get the regular big tubs of this brand of yogurt, thought we would let the kids enjoy a fun kids character cup. Mistake! This stuff is nasty. and taste nothing like the regular tubs.

seems as of they tried to make it even more richly colored and that was a compromise in quality in my opinion. Very frustrating as it is for kids. should be healthy without the added fake stuff they wouldn’t try to fool the adults into swallowing down.

I would not recommend this brand of kids line to others.

I feel that the colors is what makes my son want to eat it. He has autism so he has a limited amount of things he will eat. The texture is also a big plus. He can’t eat the regular ones because of the bits of fruit.

Look at the sugar content! It has more than a candy bar! Please make a “less sugar” option and I will start buying these for my kids again! 🙂

We just picked these up for our 1 yo kiddo and he absolutely loves it! It took him no time at all to finish the whole pouch – in fact, he never put it down and wanted more. The flavor combination of pear, spinach and mango are surprisingly delicious.

You really get more of the sweeter notes and a little savory (a great balance of both). The consistency is also a huge plus. Unlike other food pouches, the content won’t shoot out or get runny from your child squeezing them.

Less mess means cleaner clothes 🙂 With Stonyfield, you know you’re getting the best quality foods which is everything when it comes to your child’s health. We can rest at ease knowing that there’s nothing unnatural in these foods.

What can I say about Kids Low Fat Pouches Strawberry Banana? One word. yummy! So these are supposed to be for my kids, but you know kids, they want to see your expression when you try it first. Well, I did and omg I had to buy more.

They love it as well. I love that it comes in individual packs so that way everyone gets the same portion and saves hearing them fight over who got more. I keep 3 packs in the fridge at a time. It’s used as a part of their meal and for snack time.

Keeps them from reaching for cookies. The flavor is perfect and I feel great that it is from a brand I trust. It doesn’t leave an aftertaste like other yogurts. You must try for yourself.

They come in many different flavors. My son’s favorite is the cherry and cotton candy. I also like the characters on the outside of the box. Our favorite of course is Star Wars.

I would recommend these to anybody and everybody. They’re really good just for a special treat or for any time of day.

Maybe if the fridge light stayed on when you shut the door it would make a little more sense, but you would have to take it out of the fridge, hold it up to the light, then head to a dark room to see the package glow.

And I’m sorry, but the last thing I want is a 6 year old eating goopy yogurt in the dark.

Great taste. Not tangy but not overly sweet like other kids yogurt. Big enough container that it will fill your child (or you) up as a nice breakfast or a snack. My only complaint is that the expiration date is only on one container and they do go bad fairly quick (not a boat load of preservatives, yay!) And because of that, if we eat the single container that has the expiration date on it, and throw the container away, as one does, and a week or so passes and theres still 1 or 2 left.

are they good? Who knows?.

My son at seven years old still love loves these cups, the squeezy‘s and the smoothies! Which I make sure when I buy them they all are the prebiotic ones. Everyone needs more live active good bacteria and probiotic in their diets and they taste yummy.

Not as natural and organic as I would like for his small belly but it is preferred over other brands!.

I love this low fat yogurt cups. I used to always buy the strawberry banana yogurts cups from Trader Joe’s but after I tried this I stick to them. They are creamy and also full of fruits which are so delicious.

I think they’re too expensive for the amount you get. The kids just though they were okay, they tend to get warm very fast while your holding them, so I decided to freeze them for my boys like I do the go-gurt.

and they don’t freeze the same way. They were almost impossible to push though causing me to have to put them back into the fridge to defrost and push out into a bowl anyways. Soo the tube idea is pointless for these.

Throw these in your kids lunches as an easy snack. Or in the freezer to have a cold fun treat! Kids love them frozen because they are creamy like ice cream, but healthier. The yogurt itself is made without synthetic sugars and no chunks!.
