20 Best Youth Batting Gloves (2022 Updated)

Snagged a pair of these for my sons first year college play on ‘another’ sale from Baseball Savings! He goes through a LOT of batting gloves throughout the year playing out here in the desert and traveling the southwest in tournament and showcase play.

I bought him 4 pair of the Franklin ‘Power Straps’ at a great price to have for the season, but saw these cool retro digitek ones and because of the good pricing on all the gloves threw these in his ‘Care Package’ for fun too! By end of Spring, he will no doubt be wearing the ripped-up pair [lol!], but Baseball Saving allows him to have elite equipment [Franklin] for a real price.

Anyone who has player[s] like this, know what I am talking about. There is always something they need, worn out, outgrow, break, blah, blah, blah – lolouder! Baseball Savings always has good pricing for the elite player, who always seems to need something – lol! Good selection too, but you have to move fast, or it gets gone, especially as you are coming into season.

Take advantage of the off-seasonal selections, but do NOT sit on any of it, or your size and/or color won’t be there.

These are the best “value” gloves at this price point. My son (HS player) had all types of brand and model ranging from $15-40, but we came back to this. Good fit, enough flashiness, and solid build.

Obviously it’s not all leather palm like $40 Franklin’s, but it had leather heel patch for durability. My son likes the microfiber palm for soft feel and great grip. We bought two pairs (one as a back up) but one lasted the entire HS & travel ball season.

No rip or tear but typical sweat/dirt build up. I highly recommend for quality & value!.

Picked these up for about $12 when on sale as part of another order and stuck them in the garage for whenever needed. My son blew out his normal gloves the day before he had a weekend hitting camp, so we stuffed these in the bag and took off.

By the afternoon seasion on the first day of the camp, i was at dick’s replacing his normal gloves as the seams on two fingers of this glove were opened. Did not expect much for the price, but though surely they could survive a few hindred swings.

I don’t play ball anymore, I coach my kid’s team but we have a batting cage at home and I hit 2-3 times a week, 125 balls. I was going through the cheaper quality gloves rapidly. These are my favorite gloves, in all categories.

They last nearly 6 months, where other, equal money gloves lasted 1-2 months.

Name says it all. Glove is made with Thicker leather than most and has a great lower palm padding. The main reason I looked at these was for the bat knob padding. They work fantastic. No more soreness and looking like I just chopped wood with my hand after hitting bp.

Pros: Rawlings has always offered a line of quality products. These batting gloves are superior to a couple of other brands that I’ve used. The price is very reasonable. The ordering process was quite simple and easy.

I picked up a pair of these batting gloves for my son at DSG. It was the gateway to falling in love with this brand. My 8 y/o is picky when it comes to batting gloves. He can even complain about batting gloves that make squeaky noises.

Warstic batting gloves for the WIN! He likes that material as they don’t make any sound, their comfort level is superior and their overall look is clean and stylish. Let’s face it, the baseball swag aspect is just important as their functionality.

My son is hard on gloves period!! He’s playing at the collegiate level at Georgia College and State University so he uses them everyday. He develops these bad calluses on his palms so we needed a really good glove.

We’ve tried others but they just don’t stand the test. These Watstic gloves…. they are the real deal! They stand up to his abuse and they’re light enough to still be functional. On top of that, the color scheme makes them stand out.

Unless you have the same pair, there is NO WAY that a team mate can pick them up and say, “I thought those were mine. ” After a scrimmage a few weeks ago, he thought he had lost them. I offered to run to a local sports store to get a pair.

He said absolutely not! It’s Warstic gloves or nothing. He went online and ordered another pair. Next day, his teammate told him that he saw them laying in the dugout so he put them up for him. The Warstic gets much respect.

Purchased as a gift. Product seems to be decent quality at first observation, still way behind Bruce Bolt, but for half the price I figured it was worth a shot. We will never know how they hold up however as the do not fit.

Sizing seems to be (Undersized) so go one size bigger if you decide to trial and purchase. Be prepare however that once you complete your purchase you are on an island! Their customer service is extremely poor.

I have inquired through the “returns and exchanges” sections of their website three times over the past month on how to return these things with zero indication that my request has been received, let alone processed.

My daughter was literally going through batting gloves every couple of weeks between travel softball, high school softball, little league softball, and her weekly private hitting sessions. She is a year-round softball player in the northeast and practices nearly every day, so durability is critical when it comes to batting gloves.

She had to tape her fingers because no matter what glove we purchased she would end up with holes in her gloves and they’d start to fall apart after about two weeks. Having been around the game a long time, I get what a pair of batting glove go through. They have a hard life! I also know you get what you pay for! So when I purchased 2 pairs of these gloves (one for each kid), I was excited and pleased to hear about the 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I read all the reviews, and it was positive. That said my son goes through 2 pairs of gloves a season. So at $40 a pair, I figured a good pair of BB gloves would last us a season. We splurged a little and got him the color and style he wanted.

I followed all the tips they give for keeping them dry and even treating the leather to keep them from drying out. Now that we are at the 1/2 way point in the season, the left hand glove is failing. Not in the manufacturing process, but in the materials.

the leather in one finger has split along the side and one finger tip has blown out. After several conversations with customer service, I am offered 30% off of another $110 pair of gloves!! I am sorry, but that is a slap in the face.

After giving them the opportunity to make it right and give the true 100% satisfaction guarantee, they have failed. I would say watch out because the guarantee appears to be more along the lines of 30% not 100%.

Hands are so important when batting. With fielding, you can getaway with faking it for a bit. Hitting? You can’t, It’s too hard. Bats, wraps, and gloves have come along way to try and dull it. It’s something that when your hands aren’t comfortable and feeling right, it can be a distraction His school’s colors are White, Gold and Purple.

The first pair of gloves I bought my Son were gold. He absolutely loved them. I looked at them, and was immediately impressed with how well they were made. Sooo Next? Was purple, which I stumbled upon by accident.

Hard color to keep in stock at limited numbers. I bought two pair. One for him, and one for his friend, for *hopefully when he made the team Traditional popular “Name” brands just didn’t fit or feel right.

Now with these Bruce Bolts his hands aren’t squished, yet they don’t float around being too big. Size chart helped immensely. I cannot stress enough just how much more comfortable he is in the batter’s box with these gloves.

He’s hitting again! Which has shown me what stress he felt from other tighter brands was affecting his concentration. If you’re hear reading this, focus and concentration when batting is of the utmost importance.

These gloves and the design help with that. They’re unique design, has now inspired copycats from corporations. If Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I urge you to buy the Original from Bruce Bolt! Quality on these is poor. My son’s gloves started fraying and eventually the stitching came undone after only a few sessions hitting off a tee. He got blisters on both hands. I called UA, really just wanted my money back, but they’re sending a new pair.

After reading reviews, this is a common problem and I’m sure we will just trash the new ones.

Good for a kid that doesn’t going through gloves constantly. My daughter loves under armor products but she goes through gloves quickly and these didn’t withstand her batting grip. After 5 times of wearing she had ripped them already.

Definitely good for the average player but if you have a tight grip and play a lot of ball I wouldn’t suggest these.

They’re gloves. They have 4 fingers and a thumb on each hand. They fit. What do you want? They’re gloves. They serve their purpose. Over priced but, had to get them.

We bought large Louisville youth gloves on Sideline Swap. They did not even fit our 6 year old neighbor. These fit him great, and he loves them!

Great fitting and comfortable. Bought these for hitting fly balls to my players. After hitting 100+ without gloves I decided it was a necessity!

Amazing as always, same exact products for half the price and they deliver on time. Cannot recommend this place enough.

My son hated batting because of the sting in his hands. Batting cages were no fun because he would have to shake his hands out after every contact. I bought him these specifically for the padding. He says they reduce the sting and I definitely don’t see him shaking his hands after batting near as much.

Great quality that lasts longer than more expensive brands. My boys are rough on gloves and Franklin’s always outlast the others! The extra padding on this particular model is a plus.

Next to no functional grip and NOT leather; palms are some weird nylon material with a gummy, hexagon web overlay. These are absolute garbage — beware!

They protect your hands but thats about it. The weird plastic material only works with a bat grip. I prefer using tape and these offer no assistance to that.

Followed the product fit guide to order the right size. These seem to be great quality and they’re a comfortable fit for my son.

Adult ball player here. I bought these elsewhere and I am looking for a back-up pair. The U/A Harper Hustle batting Gloves are excellent. Real leather palms. Good grip.

This is the closest thing I could find to the golf glove I have. I would not buy this again, the quality is just not there. They are cheap, I bought one for $15 and got one for free, but not worth it.

Awesome batting gloves. My son says the provide him with the grip he needs. For a smaller kid (5’5″), he actually has very large hands and these fit him extremly well.

These batting gloves are great. Would definitely buy another pair of a different color in the future.

This is more of a constructive criticism. I have made many orders for custom batting gloves which I love. But in my last order the Columbia blue color was more like a very very faded powder blue almost like it was was left in the sun for a long time.

I know colors may not always reflect what you see on the site but in this case it was very off. Nevertheless the quality is good. I would just not use that blue again.

Same style for a long long time, but still the best. Some new gloves come, but they all go and Franklin is still there. Why? Because they are the best! Good value and great quality. You can buy two pairs and still have money vs.

I can’t write and tell you these gloves are good or bad… haven’t got them yet…. you obviously think I would or you wouldn’t have sent a email expecting a review!!!!!It is taking way to long to get my products….

I was told my kids gloves would be in less than 2 weeks ago and that is why I ordered them from here. You sent them out the next week and Fed ex has had my gloves for almost three weeks in the same location and that’s not good business… the logistics in this country right is crap and maybe you guys need to use someone else! I should write a complaint to them but you asked!.

Looks nice, smooth and flexible on hand, and provides good grip. Quite thin without extra padding, which is the way my son prefers it. Just wish it would last a little longer though – need to replace every few months.

I bought catcher’s equipment for my son, he loves it. Great equipment, excellent construction. but I could not give you 5 starts. only, but very big issue was the shipping and handling fees for Canada.

Boombah really need to look into alternative shipping possibly have few options with other vendors including US postal services. It does not make sense that the total purchase was 120US$ and the shipping was 110US$ Please look into this.

Ordered twice. Measuredy sons hand. Both times gloves were too small. I paid more in shipping then i paid for the gloves. Paid shipping to receive them, paid shipping to teturn them. TWICE! My son is 13, he is not a big lid that the gloves shouldnt fit.

3 games in and the stitching on the forefinger of the left-hand glove is already coming apart. Doesn’t anyone make a decent product anymore? Honestly, try some other brand other than these. Wish I could have received a refund.

So far so good. Batting gloves are the worst to buy because they are expensive and won’t last 1/2 the season. At least not my sons. I usually buy 2-3 at the start of every baseball season and am happy if he still has a functioning pair by fall ball.

Bought 2 pair of these for grandson who plays college baseball. The palm is already peeling. We have bought these before so these may be defective.

My daughter (elite level softball player) had a badly bruised hand and could barely swinging a bat without severe pain. Bought these for her to get through a major tournament, They did they trick. She hit great.

Gave her the added protection/padding she needed. Nothing on the market that I have seen as good as these. AMAZING,.

Daughter has used these gloves for the last five years. She is a catcher so they help with the sting. She only prefers these gloves. Availability is an issue at a good price. She will use them in college this fall.

Bought this for my daughter to use during winter BP sessions to protect her hands. Seem to work well. Not too bulky. Did have to return the first pair, which had some uncomfortable stitching at the index finger that was rubbing.

My girls discovered your gloves and fell in love with the design. We have been looking for quality made batting gloves for a couple of years. They hit about every day and we struggled to find gloves that held up to that abuse.

These gloves seem to be what we were looking for. Kabrey will be in the 7th grade and plays for her JH team at Soper and plays on the 12U USA Glory travel team out of Valliant, OK. Kirsten will be a Sophomore on her HS team at Soper, OK.

We travel quite a bit playing softball, last year we went to Nationals in Gulf Shore, AL and this year we are heading to Branson, MO for Nationals. The girls would love to see the Bruce Bolt brand crossover to the softball side also.

Everywhere they’ve been they have gotten compliments about the new gear and have several people quizzing them about where they found those gloves? I believe there could be a great market for your product in the softball community also.

As a former High-Level College and Semi-Professional Player and now run a Youth Travel Organization I rarely come across a product I have not come across, but I missed the boat on Bruce Bolt, I purchased these for my 9yr old and he won’t take them off, the only compliant I have is more of a personal thing than an issue.

My 9yr old prefers to wear a batting glove under his glove hand while wearing his glove and I am worried it will wear before his other non-glove hand. The Gloves match our organization color scheme perfectly!!! The Gloves themselves are very workman like, have the quality and durability feel that you just don’t get in the typical batting gloves.

I realize the price, especially for young kids, is a little bit of a shock but you will FEEL the difference the moment your gloves arrive. In my opinion for anyone who has chopped wood they have a feel of the leather workman type glove quality, in addition you get the carry case which is unique and gives the gloves a great storage options for carrying their batting gloves and room for additional items.

My 13 year old saved his money to buy his first pair. He was so excited to open the package when it was delivered. They have not disappointed. The quality is incredible. The real leather is durable but soft.

They are so much better than traditional batting gloves. My son wore out 2 pairs of other batting gloves this summer. These gloves are holding up much better. We like them so much that we just ordered a second pair to try the two pair approach that Bruce Bolt suggests.

We also wanted to see what the short cuff was like. You can’t get enough of a good thing.

My daughter use to go through 4-6 pairs a season (Nike, UA, Franklin, Adidas) you name it. She hits several buckets everyday. So she works them gloves. I first bought her BB at the beginning 2020. She immediately loved them.

She told me she had a better feel for the ball coming off the bat, much better grip, wrist cuffs have awesome extra support & soft but more importantly they did not rip. She still uses the 1st pair as her hitting gloves in the backyard.

I have bought her 2 other pairs because of the great colors, not because she needed new ones. She has a total of 3. The only issue is that they do not have more color combo’s. My daughter likes to color coordinate all her gear w/ her uni’s.

We bought these as a birthday gift for my son. So far he loves the thickness and fit of the gloves. He has used other brand name gloves that didn’t hold up. I am giving these a 4 because we did have an issue.

During his first use at the batting cages the leather started peeling. I emailed and got a response right away (👍🏽). I was told it was normal wear and tear. I didn’t think they would peel after the first use and it was not an intense use at that.

I guess we will see how they hold up with future use. My son is ready to use them in tournaments soon.

I have a D2 college baseball player and a 14U baseball player and they both use Bruce Bolt batting gloves. My college player has used his Bruce Bolts since his senior year in HS and he is in the midst of his first college season and the gloves are still in game shape.

My 14U player has his first pair and he LOVES them! The quality of the leather and the durability of the construction definitely contributes to the long life of these gloves. Absolutely outstanding!.
