20 Best Youth Boxing Gloves (2022 Updated)

I am a mother of 3 young boys, needless to say there is a lot of rough housing! The colors are bright and the gloves are well made. They fit all the kids from 5-10 years old. The gloves have great cushion and don’t hurt when playing.

The pillowed gloves are good for protecting where it is used as well as your hands inside. Really a lot of fun for all ages.

I just got these and I have to say they are crap. Padding is barely there my instantly hurt from one use was extremely disappointed. Walmart has a better pair for two bucks more 9round is the brand and they are significantly better quality.

I was hoping that because I was getting these from Dick’s it would have been better quality. Don’t waste your money on these. Just also to say only thing I have ever gotten from Dick’s that I was disappointed in.

I wish there was a 7 star option for a review! Amazing wrist support, comfort, tight to the arm so it doesn’t (and isn’t compared to other gloves even at 14oz) feel bulky even at 16oz. I was going to only use them for just sparring but I hit the bags more than I spar and these are just too great to not use.

In the beginning they were really tight on the forearm to where it actually hurt so I had to loosen them a bit until they were broken in. Because of the amazing support on the wrist I feel like I can punch more accurately, more technique, harder, and safer.

There is an adjustment period where you have to get used to the double straps and putting the gloves on or taking them off. There are natural spots on the leather and that is from the cow itself so there is that aesthetic to the gloves as well.

I have not used the wrist support on these yet because the gloves themselves are just so snug and tight. I got them during the black Friday sale so it was definitely worth the money. The black Friday sale came not just with the gloves but a Hayabusa key chain, metal jump rope with a gel plastic around the rope or the ball on a string that you attach to your head, a wash bag for wraps, wraps or gloves, and the glove deodorizer.

I got more stuff and cheaper than if I were to get the gloves alone. And I got them in less than a week if I remember correctly. I think I am going to make this an annual tradition. New boxing gloves from Hayabusa around black Friday.

I bought the 14oz. gloves. These gloves are very well made and very stylish but they are very hard to get on, even harder with wraps on. They’re are uncomfortable. I thought I might of bought youth gloves by mistake, but I didn’t see anything in the description to indicate this.

I was told by the coach at the gym they are really good gloves, well worth the money and that once they are worn in they will be fine. I bought a pair of cheaper gloves (also 14oz) five years ago that are 60% leather.

These gloves felt really good the first time I tried them on. They fit well, like they were made for my hands and I got a lot out of them over the years. I was expecting a similar experience with the Hayabusa S4’s but just a bit disappointed.

I paid double for the Hayabusa than I paid for my old gloves. I hope the coach is right, and that I grow to love my new gloves as much as I love my old ones. Maybe it’s just a case of ‘love at first feel’ vs ‘a slow burn’.

First off, I love these gloves and are worth every penny. The first time I put them on, they were a little tight and was overwhelmed with the dual wrist strap. After getting through that hurdle, I hit the bag and it was wonderful.

I have long arms and my wrists have a tendency to bend as I punch, these gloves kept my wrists straight. Having proper wrist support my punches were stronger and more accurate. The Vylar synthetic vegan leather is in some ways more functional than leather and felt durable.

After that first use I knew I found the glove I never knew I needed in my life. I am no longer afraid to punch powerfully on the bag and on pads. I know my hands and wrist are well protected. To have that peace of mind is something I would pay the expensive price tag for.

Excellent quality boxing gloves! My son recently has shown interest in using a punching bag and these gloves are excellent for that. They are thick and protect his knuckles and the wristband steadies his wrist to help prevent injury.

He suffers from hyper hydros is which causes his hands to sweat a lot more than most people so it does get a little wet in there if he has them on too long, but that is expected. They are very padded where the knuckles are so it gives him range to hit the punching bag as hard as he wants! He loves them!.

I received these boxing gloves for my son at the perfect time because he just started his boxing classes and was extremely excited about them. He says that they fit him perfectly and are extremely comfortable to wear.

They are lightweight, which allows him to hit faster, and look “cool and tough”(his exactly words, lol!). I really like that they are made of great quality materials, very durable and resistant, specially at the hands of a kid as active as my son is.

I usually wear my 16 oz Hayabusa T3 Kanpeki for training, and use the Fairtex MT gloves for sparring, but these seemed like a fun alternative, as I have been wearing my other gloves every other day, and even with the deodorizers they are starting to smell, as both of the previous pairs are leather.

It’s just the first week of trying them, but I believe that the weight is pretty solid, and they seem to be pretty good looking. My worry is whether the cloth fabric material will withstand longer (nearly day to day) usage.

I will definitely be swapping them around, but these gloves are much more fun to hit the full body kickboxing bags with. They smell very plastic right out of the bags, and I have been keeping them out and hanging them with the deodorizers for the past few days.

Overall it got my daughter excited to hit the mitts and spar with her old man so not bad for the price. I understand it’s an entry level glove for smaller kids but just a bit disappointed it only lasted a month before seeing some fraying around the thumb area with minimal use.

Other than that for the price not bad gets the job done for the level my daughter is at now. Shipping was on point good packaging.

I was so excited to order these but when they came I sunk. The design is super cool but Barely any padding on the sides and even on the knuckles it’s a fabric wrap that isn’t really attached to the layer underneath so it looks like someone just put a cloth cover over gloves.

Would not recommend.

One of the best engineered gloves I’ve ever owned in terms of impact protection and safety engeneering. The break in period was awful. The biggest issue is imbalance between the left and right gloves.

The left slips on and performs perfect from day one. Makes me wish I had two left hands. The right glove is a hot mess. It’s a completely different feel. There is a ton of pressure on the thumb, every strike feels like a hammer on my nail.

It’s brutal. The grib bar prevents the little and ring fingers from completely sliding in. And, there is an unusual and painful pressure effect on the hand that trails up to your forearm. Honestly feels like a vice grip on the hand.

If both gloves felt reasonably the same I’d chalk it up strictly to break period. All this being said, coming out of the break in, I love the gloves and do recommend them as compared to alternatives in the same price category.

Purchased a pair for my gym class box fit. While they’re ok, and do the job. The padding isn’t great, they was only 10oz but in comparison to say a pair of rdx gloves they seemed a bit lightweight. So I’d recommend 14oz or above to protect your hands more.

They’re the cheaper end of the everlast range. Maybe that’s why. But for me RDX are best value for money,I have a pair of those now and for the same price as these everlast ones the quality is so much better for your money.

They’re ok,but that’s about it. No problems with sports direct at all, ordered loads over Christmas and never had a problem at all. I’m just saying the product isn’t great for the money compared to RDX gloves.

I like the material the gloves is made. It was very tight to insert your hand in and my son is only six year old. I had to insert my hand in a few time to loosen up the tightness. I bought other boxing equipment that come with a cheaper version gloves.

I think if I purchase the cheap club it would have still been fine. Over price!.

Been a customer for over 10 years. I ordered 6 gloved for $150 and for the 1st time ever I made a return because size was small. The shipping return I was made to pay on my own and cost $125. Big scam

I take a MatBox class and these gloves come in so handy! They work well and prevent my hands from getting hurt when punching the punching bag. They are very comfortable as well. They come in various colors too.

I have pink ones.

Bought these for my son and nephew. They are perfect and can even fit smaller adult hands. They love them

Bought these for my kids so that they wouldn’t get blisters while punching the bag, but they still did anyways.

My step-son loves them. He was using my gloves that were way too big for him.

These gloves are great. I tried on a pair of Venom, Twins, and Fairtex. These are the most comfortable ones to me. I initially got the Large, but had to return them for X-Large. I’m a male, 5’11” 185llbs.

But my hands aren’t really that big. So if you have medium to big hands, get the X-Large. The Large cramped my hands into an uncomfortable position that felt like it would do more harm than good. With the X-Large my hands fit even with hand wraps.

The wrist protection on these gloves are more like forearm protection, as the part of my wrist that bends, is in between the wrap and the glove. But I’m not concerned with that, and maybe that is just how boxing gloves are.

The only thing I don’t;t like about these, as well as the other boxing gloves i tried on, is that I can’t make a proper fist. So I make sure I do light bag training with MMA gloves. I use the boxing gloves for heavy bag training, and sparring.

And as may have said about these gloves, they feel heavy, but obviously that makes for a great punching workout. Overall, these gloves are exactly what I was hoping they would be.

These gloves are phenomenal!!! Super affordable and great choice for beginners or someone experienced. It keeps your hands, finger wrists safe and sturdy while punching or shadowing! I also love these paired with there wraps!.

Title gloves are great quality and perfect for beginners looking into starting boxing. They’re nicely padded which helps to avoid injury. They are a little pricier than some options but I think the quality definitely makes it worth it!.

My 3 kids have been training in MMA for the past 4 years, over time I have purchased many brands of gloves for them and I gotta say RDX are a very high quality brand and my kids really like them. I highly reccomend!.

The gloves themselves are great. Unfortunatly what I had delivered wasnt what I had intended. Altho I would reccomend older son has these gloves and loves them (he is almost 8)

Gloves have nice protection. Primarily use on Heavy Bag.

I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. The Venum Classic Sparring Gloves are made with simulated leather and high density injected foam for better shock absorption. They are true to size and fit tight and snug which allows them to stay in place properly.

They feel comfortable to wear and also have a breathable mesh interior that makes it nice when hitting the punching bag or working out my hands seem less sweaty and easier to move. They are made with a Velcro band that is strong and adjustable.

My hands and knuckles feel protected and safe. I like that both gloves are all black and have the Venum logo it brings a nice style when wearing them. My overall thoughts these function and perform well, hold up to demanding high performances, made with good quality and durability that will last a long time.

These are super comfortable and cute. Putting them on makes me want to punch things. Which, is appropriate considering that is what they are there for. They fit PERFECTLY and allow for adjustment. They have a great look and feel.

So why but? On the package it warns of potential cancer and reproductive harm. from boxing gloves. I am not sure what that means. Is it that prolonged use will become problematic? Does it mean when my pores open and I get sweaty from say, boxing, that I am exposing myself to harmful chemicals? Is that only an issue if I chew on the gloves? I am really not sure and that makes me hesitant to use them.

With more clarification I would give a higher rating. But the fact these require a warning label makes me unsure of using them.

Bought for my son as one of gifts on his 6th birthday. He’s quite happy to have his first boxing gloves. Quality of the gloves is just amazing with regards to price. Overall, a perfectly designed piece for your young ones to begin their boxing training.

We’ve been really happy with these gloves. They are the first set my son has owned but he’s tried on some others at his boxing class and always says he prefers these as they provide more cushioning and are comfortable around his fingers.

Good for sparring and bagwork. Beautiful nolstagic old school vibe. The foam feels really thick and about above-average density. I love the dual wrist straps; better support for different wrist sizes.

It’s a bargain glove at $100 and should serve you well.
