20 Best Youth Deer Rifle (2022 Updated)

This was a fun new nerf for my kids to get! The love nerf and Roblox. The nerf itself was pretty easy to assemble but does take some time to get to using. There is batteries required and getting the darts in right was a challenge at first for the kids.

Once they got used to it, this nerf was hard to beat, the aiming is accurate and fast when used appropriately. The overall size of the nerf may be a bit much for younger ones however.

Our family was recently given the opportunity to try a Nerf Roblox Arsenal: Pulse Laser Blaster. It is a Nerf gun modeled after the Roblox game “Arsenal”. It comes with a removable clip and 10 darts.

It is motorized and fires automatically. My son already loved Nerf and is crazy about Roblox. He is over the moon with this gun!.

Such a great Nerf gun with loads of power and fun that keeps my kids and myself entertained for hours. The sleek design makes this item easy to use but it is a little larger than expected. Not that there is something wrong but it’s pretty large.

It came with a handful of nerf bullets that gave me the upper advantage when playing with this item. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

My son was super excited to receive this rifle for Christmas. It’s the most real looking gun we have seen for the money, so that is a plus. However, it’s January 1 and it’s already broken. I sure wish toys were made better these days.

He wasn’t rough with it, just played with it like a young boy would. We May be able to rig it up so he can continue to play with it, it it won’t last long. Really disappointed.

The #1 thing on my four year olds Christmas List is a rifle. I cannot wait to see his face when he opens it up Christmas morning! The gun is well made. Metal and strong thick plastic. I would say that the size is perfect for a 4-6 year old.

My son was so excited to get his rifle for Christmas, unfortunately it last a month. The barrel that holds the cap rings keeps jamming. very frustrating for me and a huge disappointment for my son 🙁 I had high hopes too because the barrel is metal, not cheap plastic like other models.

Highly recommend this product to everyone gun owner. After 200 dry fire rounds and a 100 live fire rounds, there was an obvious and clear issue with my method of holding the revolver. After getting comfortable with the advice, and the new position, and I developed a new issue.

I fixed that with the help of this training aid. By the end of my hour at the shooting range I had drastically improved my shots on target. I can’t wait to get back there this weekend and train again.

I have both the X2 and the X3. We have the ability to train with live fire using the X3. They both help you with trigger squeeze, muzzle control, and even tips on finger placement. The best thing is that you dont have to use ammo.

The mantis x3 does what it is designed to do. Improve your accuracy. I recommend this for anyone who wants to improve their shooting skills and save money on ammo.

I purchased this bow only two months ago and have had 2 issues occur that should not have happened this early in the life of this product. After the first month the string began to fray aggressively to the point where I had to replace it for safety’s sake.

No more than 50 arrows in to the new string the cam draw length modules gave out (in the middle of hunting season for me nonetheless). All tune ups and installations to the bow were conducted by a highly reputable archery shop with decades worth of experience.

I understand that this bow is geared more towards the entry level or budget friendly consumer, however I don’t thinks it is unreasonable to expect the parts of this bow to hold up for at least more than a season.

The only satisfactory part of the experience thus far was the customer service readily replacing my broken parts. And to be fair the bow shot like a laser for a limited time when it was tuned up and working properly.

If I had a time machine I would have just saved my money and bought a bow with higher quality materials. The money I’ve spent replacing, installing, and tuning this thing would have already bought me a better bow from the start.

Ultimately, you get what you pay for.

I bought one of these thinking it would be easy to use and straight forward. It is quite simple and straight forward, but dragging my first deer through the woods, the metal link bent and it all fell apart.

I thought that this could have just been a unique defect so i tried it again, the price seemed right. It happened again on my next deer. I am sure it would be great if you are on flat land and not walking through woods where you can snag on branches, but for in the woods I cannot recommend this product.

I had 2 of them break at the metal clasp after one snag.

Does the job. The rope could be 1or 2 longer. If your tall its a little short. Overall it makes dragging a deer out easy. I bought a longer rope and wove loops in each end. That way you can loop it around the deer and then attach it to the harness.

About the deer drag system to help me dry it out a deer in the event that I actually shoot one. Depending on what stand are use I have anywhere from 200 to 700 yard drag. Last year I dragged without one and it was exhausting so I thought I’d give this a try and help make it a little easier.

Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but it looks like it’s well-built.

This bow is only good for very young kids. It claims to have and adjustable draw length and weight. It comes set up for a small child with a 5ib x 16″ draw and claims to be adjustable to suite a 10 year old with 10ib x 25″ draw.

This claim is a bold faced lie!!! The bow does not adjust and is not even adjustable with tools. Do not buy unless for a small child; do not be fooled as I was. It is useless for my 10yo. I am buying another bow.

Every $ spent on Bear spark was wasted.

I bought this bow for my 7 year old daughter. For a beginner I think the quality is acceptable. Its not very customizable and there are better bows out there for youth, but for a child who you do not know if they will stick with it it works well.

The draw length is slightly too long for her at this point, but the draw weight it so little it doesn’t really affect her. I really like that it is ambidextrous, so she can try shooting left handed (she’s right handed but left eye dominant) and it still will work as a hand me down for her siblings.

When I’m convinced she will stick with the sport I will likely upgrade to a bow with an adjustable draw length and weight. Also note that the sight isn’t very good, but it’s an affordable bow meant for youth, so it works well enough.

I bought this bow set for my Grandson who is interested in Archery. However there are not instruction I can find on how to use this bow. There is not info on the Sight pin and how to use///set it up! It doesn’t make sense to off something like this a youth starting out and not provide any information on how to set it up and use it! I looked on the internet and didn’t find anything, No instruction with the kit or links to go to!.

I’ve shot recurves for a good many years and I wanted to make the leap to a compound without draining the bank account so I researched this bow to no end and what is commonly written has proven true for me as well.

Versatility The bow is amazingly versatile and I have dialed it back the weight and draw length to let my kids use it (9 & 7) and then cranked it back up to my settings all within a few minutes. Its been great for me to easily adjust my draw weight as I have become stronger and more comfortable with the higher weights.

I’ve been looking at other higher end bows but am a little turned off by the limited draw weight range most have. I’m shooting at #50 and still have #20 more to go and all with the turn of a hex key.

Accuracy The standard rest is great to learn on and does the job but once the bristles started to wear I switched to a drop-away I’ve cleaned up my groupings a great deal. Now the accuracy and grouping is pretty much limited by me.

When on form this bow will put it in the cross hairs. Noise Standing next to others at the range I quickly understood the comments about the SB-1 being noisy. Without comparison to other bows it might not seem like much but it is much louder than many others.

I bought Limbsaver limb dampeners and Bowjax string dampeners and it made a huge difference in terms of sound and residual vibration. Even afterward the additions, there still are bows that are quieter but they are also costing twice as much as the SB-1.

Purchased this bow recently. Nice bow, good fit and finish. However bow did not come with the rest in the description and photo. It came with a different rest. I would have preferred the rest in the photo.

It also did not come with the peep sight in the photo/description. it came with a tie in sight not installed. It would have been nice if they included serving material to tie the peep in with.

Purchased this bow after not shooting about ten years since high school. Has the same feel as my older Hoyt Xt2000 from 2001. Does have a smooth draw and flat backwall. has been quiet for the time being.

The most convenience from this bow is probably the option to change draw lengths easily. The rth package is okay. Can’t do much with 4 pins, the stabilizer is real basic and needs an upgrade, the strings are frayed already after 2 weeks, the peep hole is extremely large so there’s no consistency with shooting, the hand grip is fairly small and awkward to hold steady, the d loop is really thin which made me switch releases.

Although Trophy Ridge products make this bow a good looking package it’s not quite the package needed for ready to go into the woods. Going to see if Cabela’s will take back as easily as they force you out the door with it.

For the money I rather buy a bow with nothing and create my own build.

For a whole year I’ve been researching and trying to figure out what compound bow I wanted as my first compound. I’ve been shooting recurves for the past couple years and wanted to explore the compound world and have to admit I love it thanks to this bow! I got the 45-60lb olive green.

It came with everything as advertised. Easy to setup and was sighted in within 30 minutes. The sight it comes with worked very well. Did not know it had a sight light included in it. I did upgrade the quiver because I was using the gold tip hunters and the diameter was thicker which made it super hard to get in and out of the quiver that was included.

I shot out to 60 yards with a grouping size of a nickel. Extremely happy and this will most likely stick with me for a good 5-6 years and be passed down to my son. Why I chose this over the pro version? The $100 difference is the only reason.

Its a very basic training bow however the arrow rest comes with an adhesive back that doesn’t stick well so plan on using your own adhesive. Also mine did not come with a target as some websites suggested that it does.

In addition very inaccurate. Just know you get what you pay for. This bow suited me fine as I’m using it just to show my son how to shoot and not nessesarly how to hone in his skills. Other websites have misleading information and reviews.

One review stated there son shot his first deer with it. Its important to note most states require a certain pound rating to legally hunt with a bow. Its also important to note that in no way will this bow take down a deer.

If its your child’s first time shooting then this will be fine but plan on upgrading in short order if they take a liking to it.

I purchased this bow as a birthday present for my sisters 5 year old son. For $35, it was great to see if he enjoyed shooting for a little while before getting him a more expensive bow like the Pathfinder that we could set up specifically for him.

It is the perfect introduction from a toy to a real bow in my opinion. It is a low cost bow that will get a real arrow to stick in a target at a safe poundage for a young kid. This was perfect to decide if he was ready to make the jump from a toy string bow, to this one that actually can shoot into a target.

The Refine EKO is my favorite bow to date. The Refine is built with top-tier specs for a really reasonable price. I got my Refine on a Thursday and took it turkey hunting on Saturday. I have literally never done that with a bow (owned less than 48 hours and taking it hunting) but the Refine tuned exceptionally well and with the Trophy Ridge React technology, I had it hitting where I was aiming in no time.

Although I didn’t get a turkey within 48 hours of owning it, I did knock down my second bird of the spring with the Refine. I’ve shot 3D with it and scored well (won the Advanced Bowhunter Class in it’s first shoot of the season) and will have it in the Iowa timber this fall.

The 33″ ATA is perfect – it’s easily maneuverable while hunting but very forgiving for long-distance practice or 3D. It shoots flat and consistent – I can’t recommend this bow enough. If you’re in the market for a bow, shoot this one and you’ll likely be taking it home with you.

Before I bought this bow I have owned two hoyt bows. The Faktor 30 and the Ignite. I decided this year a couple days before season it was tile for something new. I was looking for a mid-priced bow that had a good quality and feel.

I did my research on Bear bows and looked at their new 2022 lineup and saw this one. Had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Ordered it through Amazon on sale for $391. Paired it w/ a trophy ridge one pin & 6” stabilizer, along with a QAD dropaway.

Just got back from the shop getting everything set up and shot it for the first time. This thing is dead quiet and it shoots quick. I love this bow. More than both of the Hoyt’s I have owned in the past.

The Faktor was a 1000$+ bow. If your thinking about getting this one, you should. The only very slight complain I have is the paint finish. I have a few super small spots where it has chipped a little but you can barely tell whatsoever.

We will see how the finish does in the future. I’ve never owned a bear bow but I am utterly impressed to say the least. I may stick with them forever.

Where do I begin. the little finger (pinky) on both gloves 9 out of 10 times you have to fight to line it up. Then once you do figure it out it’s still all twisted on the outside. Then after your hands sweat and you remove them ever so carefully so that the insides doesn’t pull out of each finger.

IMPOSSIBLE!! It took me roughly 6-7 minutes for each hand for me to fight my fingers back in & still it was uncomfortable!! Makes your fingernails feel ike they are getting ripped off! Well like I said your hands start to sweat so what comes next.

you guessed it! Your hands are now frozen! This was the last few days here in RI below zero on Sunday 01/24/2021 & today with snow! I should’ve known better than to buy Huntsworth! I wish I could return them! Waste of $35.

I have a collection of gloves looking for a pair that is warm and that I can shoot with, finally found a pair with these. I did find them to hold in moisture though after a prolonged use so taking them off was harder then expected, but still very happy with these.

Did not test waterproofing yet, just warmth and sizing which has been the main issue and the bonded material so I am not pulling out a liner so I can’t put them back on when I need them.

I have not had a chance to hunt in these gloves yet, but I can tell that they will be nice and warm. My only complaint is that they’re a little bulkier than the previous pair of Huntworth gloves I owned.

They are still thin enough to work a shotgun action/trigger though. My old style had been discontinued and these were the closest glove that Huntworth currently makes.

Nice gloves. My son has worn them on 5 hunts already. Thin, which makes them good in warm weather. The grip on palms and fingers are good for holding things and somewhat good for keeping the occasional sticker or thorn out of his hands.

Great turkey hunting gloves, they fit snug and are exactly what you want in a turkey glove.

He is also obsessed with nerf guns. He has so many of them! One of the things I really liked about this gun is how big the bullets. The surprisingly because their so big they don’t hurt as bad as the smaller ones usually do.

I would recommend using this gun outside. The gun is huge!!!! It’s at least 3 feet long. My son had so much fun chasing us around with it and even our one year old daughter got in on the action. This is guaranteed to give your child hours of fun.

This is a must have holiday list toy!.

Durable? Overall, yeah. The cylinder action is very loose/imprecise. It is a toy, but this slack leads to missed action. You kinda expect this from the rolled feeders, but maybe I’m being too critical.

It’s a toy, after all. Granted, if you just go off and squeeze multiple times, you’ll get a lotta bangs, but it is pretty sloppy. Ironic since the rest of the toy feels tight and solid, as expected of a metal toy.

Looks sharp. About half the size I’d like it to be, but then, in the context of being a toy, it’s fine for my use, which is for conditioning my dogs against fireworks.

Of several cap guns that I have purchased recently, this is the most affordable and best cap gun. Many cap guns are small (probably made for kids’ hands). This one is much larger than most. the trigger pull is smooth.

The gun is attractive. I plan to use this on New Year’s in place of popping fire crackers.

The pistol is made of metal which is nice but. The action is a bit loose so I am extremely careful with it. I am using it for dog training and it goes bang every time. It come with a holster that is designed for a child.

I am not sure how durable this will be for long term use. Definitely not the quality of those manufactured in the 70’s and 80’s. Which is what I was looking for. Not bad but not great. Works well for my purpose.

Design and materials seem fine. It’s THE FIT— this is the second time I bought your products and the fit was not correct. Your products RUN SMALL. Using your Size Chart on the first product, I bought, 2XL, it came up too small.

I returned it for store credit. This last item was on sale and non-returnable. I ordered 3XL, thinking that I had learned my lesson from last time. Plus, it was listed as Relaxed Fit. Another bust. Now I am stuck with it.

Sure, I could lose weight, but how realistic is that ? Maybe your Size Chart or actual fit of your products, need tweaking. Or maybe the problem is where it is manufactured, something I have recently started paying attention to.

I will have to think long and hard about whether to purchase any more of your products.

Size chart shows these as L – 34″-38″ waist. Either these were tagged incorrectly or you guys measured wrong. My waist is 36″ and these are very tight without tightening the straps, they should be loose.

These are way too tight and I can’t return them because they were a close out. I understood that on the front end when I ordered them, but I also assumed the size would be correct.

So far they seem like an amazing purchase. I love the feel, comfort, and warmth they provide. These pants are going to be winners under the waders as well as sitting in a tree stand during the cold season here in MO.

I was lucky enough to catch them on sale but either way, I highly recommend these.

Bought this bow for my son. The build quality is fantastic and he’s able to shoot it at his age (8) and can grow into it with the adjustable poundage. i bought this bow because his school system has an archery program and they use this bow.

The Genesis is particularly innovative because it’s not like a recurve that draws heavier with longer draw lengths, and not like a compound because the Genesis has no let-off. It stays the same draw weight from low to high draw lengths.

Making it very versatile for use my lots of different youth archers. It’s also far better than the cheaper novelty bows that look cool but can be frustrating to shoot with.

Got our kids bows for Xmas – a Genesis for the most interested and Bears for the mildly interested. There is hardly a comparison. If you can afford it, skip the cheapie stuff and just get one of these.

Its a real pleasure to use, the only caveats being: – its either RH or LH, so establish eye-dominance before buying; – its heavy for petite kids (3 lbs. ) – there is a Mini version (2lbs. ) which may be more appropriate.

– pull weight ranges 10-20 lbs. (The Mini 6-12 lbs. ) Other than that, get a full kit, a big ole target and get out there shooting! The kit includes an Allan key, a nice quiver and five arrows from Easton.

My first ever bow and arrow kit. Always had an interest since highschool class lol. But I’m having a blast trying it out. All I can say is that it’s super easy to use and I started having fun right off the bat with it.
