20 Best Youth Golf Clubs (2022 Updated)

I bought this set as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old son to replace his xj set that had served him well. He is a good golfer and takes great care of his clubs. He had used this new set a total of about a dozen times before this week.

This week he has had the heads of both the driver and fairway wood break off the shaft. His instructor was with him the first time, and I was with him the second. The clubs weren’t driven in the ground or in any other way abused.

I have emailed Callaway and have not received a response to date. I must say that I am disappointed in both the quality and lack of response from Callaway. I have been brand loyal for many years and it makes me sad that I now have to turn to another brand and pay for another new set of clubs.

It’s my 9 yr old 3rd set of Callaway clubs. We started with the smallest set and now have moved the largest as he continues to grow. All of these sets have performed well. Because he keeps losing clubs I told him I am not buying new again.

We ordered a set of used clubs from the current year lineup and received about 50% off. When the clubs arrived they really looked new. Maybe used once. A couple of clubs looked like they have never been used.

These are an incredible value and as my kids continue to grow I won’t be buying full price again. For the average golfer I don’t see why you wouldn’t make this site a one stop shop. Now that I saved so much I can now justify my new custom fit Epic driver!.

Unfortunately the head of the 7 iron was launched from the end of the shaft today. Very disappointed by this as my son saved up his own money to purchase the set. He has used them between 10-15 times.

Naturally, he was very disappointed and upset. This immediately forces me to question the quality of the clubs. I’m looking forward to a response from Nordica Golf.

Purchased the Wilson Jr. Set for my grandson. He loves the clubs and I loved the price. Quality set of clubs. They arrived perfectly with no damage. I highly recommend the Wilson Jr. complete set. Very happy with my choice.

Recently purchased starter set of clubs for junior. Good description of product, easy purchase process, competitive price and fast distribution. What is not to like ! Now got to learn how to play the game ….

I bought the set for my grandson and he was delighted. We played 6 holes one day. It got dark so we stopped. Two days later we went to the range and the head of his fairway wood went flying into the field with the ball.

He is 11 years old and a very good athlete. He did not hit the ground or mishandle the club at all. The head simply flew off. The pro stopped all the people from hitting and Mack ran way out into the field to retrieve the club head.

I plan to return the set to the PGA Superstore in Palm Desert and either get a new fairway wood or a complete new set. Perhaps the club was just a fluke! Either way, Mack loves the clubs and cried when I had to take them out of his hands.

This set fits my son well. For the price the quality appears to be holding up. My main point of dissatisfaction is in the general cosmetic appearance of the clubs. There is no reason to add colorful accents to make the clubs appear that it is something greater than it actually is.

The appearance of the clubs remind me of cheap Chinese knock off clubs. I imagine that in the near future the cheap accents will wear off, leaving him with a club that looks like garbage. Just keep it clean.

I paid full price for new clubs. Upon inspection, all clubs showed signs of usage. One had a covering of mud & grass to accompany its scratches. The customer service representative promised a full credit for my order, and that I could just “keep the clubs.

” I asked him twice while on the phone, “Does that mean a full credit for the price that I paid?” He indicated that it did, and 3 individuals heard his responses of “yes. ” The credit arrived as a 30% discount.

I called back and informed a different rep that I would never pay 30% off for used clubs. The individual assured me that a new set of clubs would be sent. The new clubs arrived in a couple of days. I returned the used set via a preprinted FedEx label.

My son informed me that the new clubs had arrived without balls. He quickly realized that the initial bag’s previous owner did not remove the golf balls. Hats off to the 2nd customer service rep, but overall, it was a disappointing experience.

As stated, great clubs! I won’t buy from the store again.

Ok, so I read a ton of over-the-top positive reviews and watched a half dozen glowing videos for the Callaway Rogue ST Max driver. A friend of mine bought one months ago and I did see him finding more fairways and gained some distance.

It’s end of the golf season in northeastern Ohio, and Callaway Pre-owned ran a nice discount. I bit. Got my “Like New” driver and I believe it’s actually brand new! Wow! If it isn’t I’m shocked. Went to a local driving range and just got home.

Got to admit, I’m sold. it was NOT hype. This driver is the real deal. I was hitting some really nice bombs with range balls! I took a handful of decent balls that I had found while golfing, and they went even farther.

Yes Callaway did it again. Very impressed!!!.

I am 66 and have been playing for 4 1/2 seasons, with a few lessons from a friend who coached at college level. At this point I am a bogey (16-18 handicap) player and have been using these clubs for a year.

They have been durable and perfectly matched to most of the shots I encounter in a typical round, which is why I chose them. Most golfers would benefit from improving their swing rather than buying new clubs, so don’t spend massive amounts of money when a full, matched set like this one will suffice.

They are light, balanced and do the job. The bag has pockets in the right places and has also held up well.

I bought the women’s set in petite as a starting set thinking it would be perfect for me as someone standing at 5’1” and was really excited to see a full set at an affordable price. I found this set great to take to the driving range and par 3s since it has everything you need.

The better I became, I realized that this set is really best suited for someone 5’3” and found it still difficult to use as someone that is 5’1” since I need to adjust my grip up over 2”. I thought being in the middle of the suggest height range meant I would be the perfect height for this set, but it seems like this is still too long for those truly “petite.

” My suggestion would be to get this set if you are truly looking to learn golf and then understand that if you fall in this height range, you are likely to require getting future clubs fitted to your height in the future since standard clubs are definitely going to be too long for us shorter folk :).

I decided to pick up golf again after a few years off. With my height and body proportions, I decided tall clubs would be a better fit. I’m 5’8″, mostly legs. I first took the clubs to a range and was hitting the ball better than I ever did before.

On the course was no different! They’re comfortable, light, and have held up well so far. Added bonus – I love the color scheme! Perfect purchase for someone who wants a quality set but wants to hold a budget.

The only thing is that I wish Wilson sold the Tall clubs with a standing bag, not just the cart bag.

I bought this for my son just started last year, and began to play at a short course every weekend. The set is very simple, prefers to beginners, my son had some great shot with it. Very light weight and easy to carry, and have a few pockets to store some personal stuff (not too many, so good to keep the weight light).

However, there was no display of the loft of each clubs.

Great, overall, clubs for my son (who’s just getting into and learning the game of golf). My son is 6-1/2 years old and LOVES showing-off his clubs and bag! He had old ‘hamd-me-down’ Top-Flights that were 6 years old.

just holding the bags in each arm – you can immediately tell that his new ‘Rory’s are several pounds lighter and significantly better quality to boot, compared to the old Top-Flights. My only issue is that the Driver and Hybrid are way too ‘long’ for him.

However, the irons and putter fit him perfectly! I’m beginning to think that the Driver and Hybrid clubs may have been ‘mixed-up’ with the next level/size up (at the store) by accident. Regardless, I just went-ahead and picked him up a separate Driver and Hybrid manufactured by U.

S. A. Youth Golf that fit him perfectly (for an additional $85 total). And, I plan-on saving the ‘Rory’ Driver and Hybrid for next season and/or thereafter (once he ‘grows’ into them). Needless to say, my son has been getting a lot more distance and ‘pop’ with his new Rory’s! He loves them! And, I love watching his reaction when he hits a nice shot with them!.

My 9 year old was playing with another set but was getting frustrated. From the first time he hit these he was filled with confidence. Added 50 yards to his drive and took nearly 20 points off his 9 hole score.

Kids can be easily discouraged and having the right clubs built his confidence and greatly increased his enjoyment of them game. The only problem is now he wants to play every day.

Bought these clubs for my daughter once she completed her first year of being in the First Tee program. She absolutely loves her new clubs. Clubs were a bit longer than her previous set so its taken a little bit of time to adjust.

With that. It has given her more confidence and ita more consistent shots than her previous set.

Very disappointed! After reading about the product I should have read the reviews before buying, because I did not want plastic clubs! I will be returning them.

Sturdy hard plastic. Also adjustable feature is sturdy and easy to do. Great for my 4 year old grandson

I have to commend the Robin team, and specifically Jason L, for their great customer service. This was one of the best online shopping experiences I have had recently. Though I ended up returning the set, the Robin Golf team were as courteous and efficient with my return as they were when I purchased the set.

After playing several rounds with the set, I decided to return them. I just needed a few more clubs to complement the 5H and 3W that came with the set. Overall, the set was good and I would recommend it to anyone starting out in golf or plays occasionally.

But I think if you’re an advanced beginner / intermediate player playing 4-5 rounds a month, they may find themselves in my situation. The putter took a little bit of getting used to from a feel perspective, but I imagine that’s what it would be like with any change in putter.

And I don’t practice my short game nearly as much as I need to. The wedges were very forgiving. I felt like I was able to make better contact with the ball and had slightly better control of my distance.

The 7 and 9 irons felt okay, but I just didn’t get the same distance as the previous clubs I used. And I couldn’t quite get comfortable / consistent using the 5-iron as I had been using a hybrid previously.

5H and 3W felt good and I was able to make solid contact consistently. But as I experienced with the irons, just the lack of distance as I had gotten from my previous clubs. Driver was my favorite as I actually gained distance overall.

I tend to hit more fades / slices, but this driver helped to straighten it out a bit. Even when I missed the fairway, I was not as far offline as usual. Bag was stylish and lightweight, just wished there was one more pocket that I could dedicate for balls vs just having the two big side pockets.

I can’t say enough good things about the design of these clubs or this company! Starting with design – these clubs are incredibly sleek, minimal (in the best way) and made me feel so confident to bring with me for a corporate golf tournament while playing with experienced players.

Even with no warm up using these, I was able to get on the course and make the transition to these very easily. From a customer experience perspective, this was one of the most impressed I have ever been with a company.

I had my clubs overnighted because of needing them by a specific date and my set ended up getting misdelivered / lost. When I reached out to the Robin team, not only did they send me another set, they overnighted them to ensure I received them for my tournament.

The Robin set is a golf package that is simplicity at its best. so my review will be also in bullet form The Good 1-Only what you really need to play and enjoy the game 2-Easy to hit high long 3-Clubs look very good and attractive 4-Excellent quality head covers, probably over kill.

5-The stand bag bare bones does the job. 6-Classic putter very nice. 7-Customer service is excellent. 8-Return was easy and painless. In my case the flex of the shafts where to soft. If they where at least closer to a stiff I would have kept them as a travel set.

The things to consider. 1-The finish of the clubs do not hold up well when compared to the more expensive counter parts. This is even after the second run with thicker paint. Not a show stopper but for those who care how their clubs look something to think about.

2-The adjustable weights on the driver do very little to add MOI to the driver head. either heavier weights or an extra weight would help. 3-The adjustable hosel does help with directional control by adding loft or an upright adjustment, but its modest.

4-If you are an aggressive swinger regardless of experience you will sky rocket these clubs. The shafts are good for what they are intended to and that’s easily get the ball airborne. Men’s stiff is their stock stiff.

in practice it is equal to a soft regular. 5-The current demographic for only one measurement is too wide. In the future they will go with some custom clubs at least with length. Over all they are a very good set and really what you need to play and practice.

as your skill improves you can fill in those gaps by mastering partial swings or adding clubs? who knows Robin may offer a fill in set to complete the set. By that thought the price may get too high as there is competition offering both full and partial sets,.

I’ve been playing the TP, Penta, Leathal, Tour Preferred lines for years, even back in the day of the huge seam (Thanks Dean Snell). Up to this point I have been satisfied but always wanted a touch more launch.

Well, heck, they did it. This thing launches quick and flies like a knuckle with insane control off all my irons. Around the green it checks up quick and has the same sound as the previous “X” versions of the ball.

Putting is same and very controlled. Roles true. Honestly, the only difference between last years and this is the much better flight into the wind and higher launch with a softer descent. It’s exactly what I wanted!.

bought for my 7 year old and she is loving them. the club heads are not oversized like you find from other manufacturers, which makes it easier to make contact

Fantastic quality clubs. Chose this set for my just turned 8 yer old, on the basis that he’ll grow into them but also because his fingertip to floor measurement was at the minimum limit. He is a bit shorter than the recommended height and he initially complained they were too long for him but we got to hitting some balls today and he got used to them and holds the clubs at the base of the grip.

I think we made the right choice, I get the feeling we’ll see a growth spurt soon enough and I feel like he’d grow out of the set a size down too quickly. We actually got the set a size down for my just turned 6 year old and those are perfect for him already and they go up to 8 years.

My eldest feels comfortable with those of course…but in a years time he probably won’t. The bag is very light too and well made. Shipping was very quick, the reviews helped me make my decision and ordering was easy.

After researching which set to get the boys for Christmas I established this TGW set was best value, offered more clubs than others and at a price that is reasonable and competitive. We have only just opened them of course and hit 20-20 balls but the kids are happy and so far so good.

I’ve nothing to complain about at all at this point and would suggest you buy with confidence.

I have been looking for the right junior golf set for my 11-year-old son for about a year. He’s primarily a baseball player and enjoys some golf in the summer (weekly junior golf with friends, occasional round with mom & dad) so I didn’t want to invest in a high-end set until he’s a bit more serious and isn’t growing so fast.

On the other hand, I don’t want a cheap set that makes playing harder and looks like junk. There are not a lot of sets that are in-between, but this set from TGW is ideal. What I really like about the TGW set is that it includes both a fairway wood and a hybrid, which is less common in a junior set, especially at this price.

The clubs are nice and lightweight and feel good to my son, who is on the small-to-average side for his age. I also think the putter is great — it’s a small off-set mallet with nice alignment aids and a face insert.

Though we’ve only had the set for a couple weeks, I don’t see anything initially that indicates a problem with quality. The grips on the clubs are small enough for my son to get a good grip, not uncomfortably oversized like many less expensive junior sets.

The shafts are OK — possibly a bit whippy for a kid with a lot of strength. Little details are good: the paint on the clubheads is solid and not chipping off, the stitching on the head covers doesn’t have any loose threads or snags, the grips and shafts are aligned correctly.

My only complaint would be the bag itself, which is made of really thin material and is somewhat lacking in padding for the straps and where it sits against the body. I can see the possibility that the zippers could rip out of the pockets or the pockets could get holes with a lot of use.

It does come with a rain hood though (nice), the stand functions nicely and isn’t too stiff, and the thin material will probably be just fine for a casual player like my son. The color combo is nice too, not too flashy or childish, and would work well for boys or girls who don’t want everything to be pink.

If your kid is playing multiple times a week, he/she probably wants a full set with a nicer bag. For a tween, especially on the smaller side, who likes golf and wants to play well but isn’t hitting the links more than once a week or so in the summer, this is a perfect set for the price.

Good set for beginner children. I like the 7 club set; others only offer 4 or five clubs. The grandkids (ages 12, 10, 8) liked the clubs. I like that they are graphite; nice and light. Great carry bag too.

Only negative is the fit and finish. Not to a professional level, but okay for kids. They didn’t notice and don’t care so it works out fine. Well worth the money.

Great clubs for good junior players. I love that I can get 1 free re-shaft since my son will probably need one in another year or so. Solid clubs that fill the gap between youth and adult golfers.

There are a few reasons I love these irons The first is I had my first hole in one with the 7 iron The second is the 6 iron is great for punch shots The last is they are very forgiving I have probably hit 10 shanks and I’ve had them for over a year.

Ping is my favorite brand and I will always use them.

Excellent clubs for the beginner and provide good balance and good strike of the ball. Great for learning the game and look god too, I don;t know enough about the club heads to know if there are many better around but my gold has developed greatly from age 9 through to 12 (I now need longer clubs), but my younger sister will be using these when she gets tall enough.

Happy with the golf club and delivery service. It’s a Great starter club for a youngster at a good price. Didn’t want to splash out on a full set so the single club will let me know if my grandson wants to play the game.

Bought for my 4 year old grandson. He thinks it’s great and great value for money. Ideal starter iron.

I found it quite hard to find junior clubs for my fast growing 12 year old. Why mess about cutting down ladies sets when, at 145, these clubs are the perfect length for the given age/height. Really well thought out design, decent shaft and grip and a putter that I would like at 35for myself.

Decent bag as well.

Nice Junior set for my son. Seems to be on a par with previous US Kids sets too. Im slightly disappointed that no head cover was supplied with the Fairway Driver.

It chased for my son as a Christmas gift. He likes them very much. Good quality set for a beginner.

My 10yo daughter has started taking lessons and the used clubs we originally bought her were not weighted properly for her size and she was struggling. With these clubs, her performance changed immediately.

She can control them better and feels much more comfortable using them!.

We borrowed clubs for the boys to try to get them started but of course they were the wrong size and not complete. We went out and got these clubs and it changed the game for my 7 and 9 year olds. They hit the ball straight, they get the ball in the air and they are not learning and loving the game.

It’s the right tool for the right job and it is worth every penny. You have to think about it this way, the cost is what most of us pay for one round of golf.

I ordered these clubs for my 7 year old Grandson. He loves them! I had a hard time finding them. Golf Galaxy was quick on getting the order to me. I would recommend them
