This book was actually a gift that I gave to my daughter. Parenting is not an easy job. The author’s mother wrote a similar book 30 years ago which I read 3 times. This is a current edition. The material in the book hasn’t changed much.

It is a wonderful help for rearing your young children. It is written with great insight, love and kindness. It was a great help to me dealing with all the ups and downs of child rearing. It is a great support to help a parent get through the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of your children through the early years of childhood in a positive way.

I highly recommend it.

So far Im only a quarter way into this book but its been excellent so far. Its very easy to read and the advise is easy and straightforward to understand and follow. Its almost like a friend talking to you and the addition of other parents stories makes you feel like youre not alone in this.

Im looking forward to trying some of the tactics from this book with my very active and non-cooperative 2yo son :).

My grandson absolutely loves this. He is 7. He recieved this on Christmas day and is already telling me things that I have to google to see if it’s true. He haven’t put this away yet. He’s at this globe24/7.

My daughter said it’s the best gift he has ever received. Her friends is ordering it fir their children after see how my grandson interact with this globe. It’s a wonderful product.

There are several missing countries. Also, scanning the Globe inside the house if not very well lit, is very frustrating. To add, you will need a fairly new Tablet to make the Orboot app work well and not keep on freezing.

I tried it on different Tablet and that was the case. FYI, you can download the Orboot app for free and use it without the Globe.

Great fun while learning and finding out so many interesting facts about the world, countries, animals… so many interesting and fun facts. My 7 year old grandchild played with it all Christmas Day. Great value for money too.

The Sphero Mini Robot Ball is a great entry-level device as a STEM toy to educate your kids. The arcade games are mildly interesting but where the device becomes really engaging is teaching your kids how to program it.

The apps are very user-friendly and easy to use with very low-level technical knowledge. I’d recommend parents researching programming a little more to get the full benefit of the toy for longer engagement with kids.

The toy itself is quite nice. My daughter enjoys playing with it and giving it some programming functions to execute. The Harvey Norman online buy and collect was amazing. Simple, straightforward with prompt responses and notifications.

Amazing! Have one to a 14 year old niece who spent hours with it. Plan on a second one to A5 year old nephew. And one for this very Senior old fart. Looking forward to playing with the JavaScript to do some light programming on it, and hopefully introduce my niece to that.

Make sure to download the Sphero mini program; it doesn’t work with the Sphero app And it sure would be nice if they included at least a couple of different color shells, instead of charging $10 (!) each for them.

They should raise the price by $5 or so and include one or two extra shells. The mini seems very rugged and it looks like they’re constantly updating the app to add functionality. At the price it’s REALLY hard to complain -it’s great!.

From start to finish, this was an interesting project for our first week of homeschool. Set-up was very basic, fast, and the instructions were thorough. As easy as: Download the app, create an account, scan the QR code.

Each pack comes with 2 QR codes, so you can download your games onto two different devices. Our daughter is 6 and had some trouble understanding the “scale” of things – ie: make your avatar SMALL, keep the red “avoid this” items in areas that your avatar can maneuver around, etc.

She drew her first game, and I think we were both amazed at: 1) how quickly the little game uploaded 2) how EXACT to picture the game was. The technology in this is quite impressive even from an adults standpoint.

I personally liked the editor, so we could remove some of her bigger “reds” and still play the game. Once you get your first couple of games down, you can really start to be creative with the next games.

The only cons I could find: – the paper in the booklets are thin. If you have a heavy-handed kid (like me), put something under each sheet so the marker doesn’t bleed through onto the next. – Go a little more in-depth with the instructions on what the purple marker does.

I was able to figure it out by playing around, but a 10 year old likely wouldn’t understand just by glancing through the pamphlet. Overall though, we have really enjoyed this.

A wonderful book allowing the readers to have fun while teaching young children to follow directions. I purchased this book from a school book fair one year not realizing how much enjoyment my family would have reading this book.

I have never seen my grand children laugh so hard as we sat around the table and enjoyed following the directions inside this book. I can still “see” the reactions the younger ones had when they turned the pages to find out what the result of following the directions given to them revealed.

I recommend this book for pure fun and for teaching younger children how to follow directions without teaching them to follow directions. We love to read books and learn something new. This book provided a fun and interactive way to learn the concept of following directions every child needs to learn to follow for everyday life to ready them for their school journey.

It has been loaned to others to enjoy as well. We still read this book today after five years receiving the same teary eyes laughs we had from the first reading adventure.

This book is enchanting. When I read it, I was delighted by the clever device of the book, and enjoyed the interactive nature of it. But this was nothing compared to the reward of reading it with my grandson.

He had so much surprise and joy when we turned each page! (The book asks the reader, for example to shake the book. Then, when you turn the page, the colored dots that had been neatly in a row are “all shook up” on the next page.

) For me this was clever, for my grandson, it was MAGIC. He’s a rambunctious child, Santa had brought transformers and trains. But he asked to read the book with me more than once, and then requested it from his dad at bedtime.

i have a child that was diagnosed with HSC. honestly i don’t care what they call it just wanted some skills to make their life and ours more manageable. i could relate to most of what was described by the author.

we have put in place one by one ideas to decrease sensitivity and it was like a switch went on. everyone’s lives are happier. teachers notice a difference, sports are better, home life has improved and most importantly my child is happier.

also got a copy for family members and they too understand my child’s particular needs now.

The book explains so much about why Im like I am. Would have loved to found and read this book a long time ago. Ive been misunderstood my most people and family my entire life. Finally, acceptance of myself.

This has been one of the most relevant books I have ever read. I had my suspicions that my child is highly sensitive and this book put everything into perspective. It helped to provide me with reassurances as well as tools to deal with it.

There were moments that I cried whilst reading it, and moments when I was sighing with relief. The topic is well thought out, it is well written and the chapters are logically arranged. I would recommend it to any parent who feels it may apply to their child.

Bought it for my cat and she loves it! Sphero is surprisingly durable and easily survives all the kicking and throwing and falling she subjects it to. Battery lasts around 30-40 minutes which is enough for a day and charges in about the same time.

The only mild annoyance is that you need to recalibrate it every time Sphero gets kicked too hard, but its rather painless and easy to do (takes about 5 seconds). Can recommend!.

My son had this for Christmas and he loves it. He loves all the games on the camera and how easy it is to use. He likes making everyone look silly. It does eat up batteries very fast and as it takes 4 at a time I will be investing in some reusable ones as soon as I can.

I do think the picture quality should be better in this day and age as my now 16yr old had one of these cameras 10yrs ago and the picture quality hasn’t changed. But my son is happy with it so thats the main thing.

As an experienced hobbyist photographer I try and get others interested in the dark art. I was cleaning my camera gear one day and my 5yo grandson who up to that point had shown no signs of interest in cameras or photography was asking loads of questions.

I answered as best as possible, he then picked up one of my Canon’s and asked “grandad will you show me how to use your camera”. Well mine are a bit advanced for him, but I said I would. Did some research and chose this little baby.

I was impressed by its ease of use, the functions on it, the fact its child proof. The grandson loves it, I don’t think he has put it down since he got his hands on it. It is simple to use for a child, it will give them a good healthy start into the art of photography, it can be held in both hands or just the one hand, chunky enough for small hands to grip & hold but not too big, the wrist strap is a god send, he knows that it must always be used “just in case grandad”.

We haven’t been out together yet but it wont be long before he joins me on a shoot somewhere. Would I recommend this camera, YES I would, it is excellent for a child to get to grips with. easy to use and not heavy.

The colours are bright enough so that you don’t lose it either. I like the fact that it has two view finders to look though, little ones struggle with looking though one eye to frame a shot, the shot is viewed on the live view screen on the rear.

It is a wonderful little unit and you wont go wrong getting it.

Bought this for my 4 year old niece for christmas last year and she has been glued to it ever since! Camera is easy to use for young and old and the many effects and gaming options ensure that there is always something new to do and discover.

My 10 year old nephew asked for one this year as he thoroughly enjoys using it too – a gift which truly has something for a vast age group. Highly recommended as both an educational and recreational toy.

This book is great! Teaches kids about mixing colours with no mess and the way it’s written is perfect for an interactive reading experience. Cant recommend this highly enough. I’ve recently bought this for baby shower gifts and my 2 year old nephew.

This author is great for kids aged 2-5. This particular title is fun for littles learning about colors or for those who already know the combinations but want to take it to the level of actually mixing.

If that’s the case, I like to give finger paints along with the book as a gift so that they can actually try things out for themselves. If you prefer the no-mess route, the book on its own gives the reader the opportunity to “mix” colors and see the result.

I bought this as my three year olds loved ‘Press Here’ by the same author. They responded just as excitedly and told me it was ‘magic’. It’s very entertaining and a fun way to teach secondary colours and colour mixing.

Perfect present for 3-5 year olds.

Pros: Great concept that encourages kid’s creativity, with different options/scenes. Green screen special effects work well. Tripod/handle is well made, overall build seems sturdy. Easy to use/menus to navigate for a 6 year old.

Easy to connect to a computer to transferv data/free up memory. Takes additional SDHC memory (up to 32GB) card to increase capacity. Cons: Image quality is not the best, considering the quality of current digital cameras.

Internal memory capacity is not big, so requires either frequent data backup on a computer, or buying an additional memory card. Green screen fabric provided is a bit small and difficult to attach, it would benefit a stand!.

Pros: This camera is really fun for kids. My six year old daughter loves to take it everywhere. She likes the games and makes a lot of use of all the photo and video filters, backdrops and animations.

The green screen is probably the best feature, but this is often best done with adult help as it is slightly harder to get right if you are only six. Cons: The resolution could be a little better. This camera is perticularly good for making fun videos but it would be nice if there was some sort of zoom function, particularly when taking photos.

The lens is quite a wide angle and with a low resolution digital zoom is not really an option.

Everything is as I expected and my 7 year old loves it, you just need to remember to get an extension card for extra memory but still you can use it out of the box after charging first. Also for the parents, look into getting a bigger ‘green screen’ blanket to use so your little movie maker can go large if they wish.

The software interface is nice and simple to cater for the age spectrum of the kids using it. The manual is simple to follow and the tripod can be used with other more advanced ‘adult’ cameras too and it feels very comfortable to hold.

Even without the manual kids can investigate and still work out how to set a scene and experiment with lighting. All in all I am very happy with a great purchase for my daughter to use with her creative mind as she walks through life.

DanTDM is such a good person who makes videos for younger audiences (or anyone. ) This book is great for fans who enjoy his videos, and will get non-readers more interested in reading! It has a fun plot which features characters from his videos + Pretty art style and fun designs.

This book is a lot thicker than I expected. It’s comic style. The illustrations are great and it looks like some decent thought went into creating this. Usually when my son wants something a Youtuber put out its disappointing but this was great and I’ll continue to buy Dan TDM merch.

It was a christmas present and my 10 yr old was so stoked to get it!.

I ordered this toy for my granddaughter. When I recently took it out of the box to wrap it several major pieces were missing. The recorder and the headset. On the BACK of the item a note was attached saying recorder was missing.

Should have been on the site so I would know prior to ordering. I had to scramble last minute to order the toy from Kohl’s. and it was less than I paid for this piece of junk from E bay. Will not use them again.

My 9 year old son loves this toy. My son has disabilities and loves music. This has everything he wants and more. The recorder is great. He loves to record himself and keep playing it over and over. I love that when the recorder is full it is easy to erase it by pushing the record button a second time and it records over what is on it.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson. So guess what I’m doing Christmas Eve Day? Returning this camera and buying something else because it will not work! Not only is this an inconvenience (do not live near the store), I don’t want to chance getting a replacement in case it doesn’t work either.

Also, it did NOT include the Micro-USB Cable that is supposed to be included in the package so I had to go and purchase one to charge the camera. Very disappointed!.

We loved the camera and the games, loved it. My little guy was using it all the time. Then we used the water resistant case at the pool, and it turned out to not work at all, despite setting it up correctly.

We tried to save the camera by putting it in rice, but that didn’t work either. Now the camera will not turn on, all his photos are gone and I’ve paid for something that is completely dead. Total waste of money.

I bought this for my 6 year old grand daughter. It’s easy enough to learn but she finds the camera too small. It’s difficult to see the pictures that have been taken. She enjoys the camera but seems keener on playing the video games that are loaded on the camera than taking pictures.

It’s a reasonable price but not sure I’d buy again.

This is the cutest model. If it only had the selfie option, it would be perfect. I actually bought 2 cameras – I got this as a backup because it was on sale and qualified me for free shipping. I’m glad I did because my 6 year old broke the business end of the lanyard-charger on the model K, and they have the same cord.

He was utterly distraught, and it was a very happy moment when I produced this ultra-cute backup camera with the same cord. I had been planning to gift it to another child, but now we have 2. I’m good with that – they’re great little cameras.

Maybe don’t let your kids try to plug in the cords, though?.

It’s small, lightweight, easy for a toddler to hold and press the shoot button. Wrapped in a protective cover that helps when it’s inevitably dropped. Super easy to take videos instead of a photo purely by accident, since you hold the button down just a few seconds more.

Comes with charger as a lanyard. Only issues we’ve had so far are getting the photos off the camera and on to a Mac. Tried the camera-to-iPhone method and that took a long time. And we really wanted them on the Mac, not the iPhone.

For some reason, our Mac would not recognize it as a source in the Photos application, but it came up in the Finder window as a device and then we imported from there.

Tired of my daughter spamming my phone with photos, looked into reviews and found the best for this camera. She loves it! It is great for teaching her about taking photos, and now she has unlimited practice.

This is an adorable ok camera. Super cute 3yo birthday present. Pictures aren’t amazing, but fine. Screen UI a little clunky. Transferring photos with the app is too slow and buggy. 3yo was able to manipulate the screen and took a lot of photos, which he did enjoy.

On the first day he ripped the lens cover off of the main camera piece. So that is now loose. Then he moved on to removing the silicone layer of the camera itself. Less than a week after his birthday, he inadvertently dropped the bare camera into a cup of water.

I could see water droplets in the screen, so set it aside to let everything dry. The thing proceeded to turn itself on and off over and over again for maybe 20-30 minutes? The screen image got worse each time.

I imagine had the outer cover been on it would have survived, but still, why would it turn itself on like that? Anyway, I don’t know why I thought this would be water resistant, but it seems like that should be a given with a product for such young kids.

Hopefully I can convince him to let me replace it with a different camera, but the sloth character is very cute and distinct so I may be stuck getting another one of these.

Got this the other day and the kids have been wandering around taking pictures of about everything. Mostly pictures of their legs and the floor and stuff, but sometimes they get a good one. The selfie camera is a really nice feature.

The interface seems to work well and be pretty robust. We had bought a different kids camera off Amazon a year or so ago and it would just freeze randomly and you couldn’t do anything with it until the battery died and you could try again.

Had promised the kids we would get a replacement someday but hadn’t really found anything, then this popped up in a Facebook ad and I bought it five minutes later. Very happy so far. The charger lanyard thing is a neat idea.

Seems to work pretty well. The battery doesn’t seem to last as long as I’d like, but that’s about the only complaint I have about the camera.

My daughter received her Camera Kids Digital with Video camera. She was super excited as she wants to start recording videos and taking photos. I found that the video quality is extremely poor. The photos are not good quality.

They’re dark and not clear even when I take pictures. The idea or premise behind this gadget is admirable. It could be a great starter tool for young kids without making a huge investment but the execution was not very thought out.

The entire screen is super small. The camera is awkward to use even for a small child. I honestly would not recommend this product!.

My daughter has been begging for a camera for her birthday since I got one. This is the perfect gift for her. She loves it. It’s easy for her to navigate. The buttons and grips are the perfect fit for her 5 year old hands.

She’s already running around snapping pics and asking questions. It’s great quality for a children’s camera. I love the mounting features, it’s going to be a blast on her bike.

Bardzo spodobał mi się fakt, że główny bohater dojrzał odrobinę w porównaniu do poprzednich jego przygód. W końcu zauważył jakim wsparciem dla niego jest Fergus, który tak naprawdę nie chce go przebić czy podkraść jego pomysłów, wręcz przeciwnie-pomaga mu, ile sił.

Mam nadzieję, że autor uraczy nas kolejnymi przygodami i nie zapomni o komiksach, które znalazły się każdym tomie, są idealne dla tych młodszych czytelników, by trochę poćwiczyć czytanie w chwili, gdy mama im czyta książkę, tak właśnie było w przypadku mojego syna.

Niektórych może zrazić fakt, że powstała kolejna książka zachwalająca tak bardzo kolejną platformę, która dosłownie wciąga w swoje macki coraz to młodszych czytelników, lecz jeśliby potraktować ją jako zwykłą rozrywkę, to nie powinna ona nikomu przeszkadzać.

W tej książce zachwyca lekkie pióro autora, komizm sytuacyjny, sympatyczni bohaterowie, sposób przedstawienia przygód bohaterów w formie odcinków/filmików na YT, a także znakomite rysunki, które dopełniają fabułę i cieszą oko czytelnika.

Jestem nimi zachwycona i choć nie jest to typowy komiks, to za takimi zatęskniłam czytając Głód zwycięstwa.
