20 Best Zendikar Rising Cards (2022 Updated)

My review for Collector Store will always be 5 stars. I have made more than a dozen purchases and their shipping and customer service are second to none. The Zendikar Rising Set Booster box I opened was one of the 2 worst booster boxes I have ever opened.

The other being a 2 mythic box of Theros where one was Champion of Stray Souls. In this Zendikar box, I got 3 mythics, and the value of all rares, mythics, list cards, and box topper totaled $38. I got 3 of the same rare 3 times, and 2 of the same rare 4 times with no variants.

Based on my expectations and the cost of this box, it easily wins for worst booster box I’ve ever opened, and I’ve opened a lot of them. I know luck plays a role, but wow, the volatility in this product is apparently high.

The item came a in five to six days. The delivery package left something to be desired ****CAUTION,**** The box came in a flimsy simple plastic package envelope with no padding. The box corners were dented in and worn.

I know this seems small but if you play in tournaments or even with casual play, this could damage the cards and make them not worth the $100 you put out.

Just the over all value of the cards we pulled. Played sealed with some friends but because of the smaller packs we used 7 packs each. Lots of fun. This reflects the box I received. Not all boxes are equal.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband who plays Magic. It was something he really wanted and I was glad I was able to give it to him as a gift. He was very pleased with it and got a lot of fun cards.

He also loves collecting the special dice from the bundles and gift bundles. GameNerdz had a great price and shipped quickly when the item was available.

This is a great gift for Magic the Gathering players, both new and old! The box art is beautiful and the collector’s pack that this Gift Edition bundle features makes it extra special and a great value.

I would definitely recommend this as a gift to a Magic the Gathering player in your life.

If you are gifting this, it’s worth it. The prices by pack are around the price of this box, making the extras, well extra! Zendikar is likely the worst set release in years, so you will likely not get good cards though.

As with all collectors sets, the contents of the box is rarely matching the box cost. Thats what you get. Wizards really need to concentrate on making the contents more desirable and rare, rather than the current fire and forget.

This box has a saviour in the form of two non foil Expedition box toppers, but you might get trash there as well. Boxes also can contain foil Expedition lands and these can generally speaking be worth almost as much of the box.

Roll the dice or just buy singles.

The Magic the Gathering: Zendikar Rising – Collector Booster Box is a fantastic product if you are looking to hold onto sealed product. It has two box toppers that are a great selection of playable lands.

Additionally packs can randomly have foil versions of these box toppers.

Love it! They are way underpriced at the moment if you are looking to hold onto them or as an investment. I understand that 200$ seems like a lot, but if you are just looking to play the game, that is what booster boxes are for.

These are exactly what they are called “Collector” Boxes.

This game ticks all boxes in my opinion: 1. The actual gameplay and mechanics- phenomenal 2. As a Collectable- cold foils (1st ed only). extended art. Rainbow foil legendary. need I say more. This game generally is VERY good to open! Investment: (NOT advice) looking at the community growth and The performance of LSS.

I think this game will be around for a long time to come. It is certainly attractive option for investmen for me Would recommend this and all other FAB sets to any collectors TCG players. Especially 1st edition of the various sets, due to chances at the beautiful cold foil Fabled through to common cards.

Arc Rising was announced as going out of print. Most shops would spike prices with fair reason in business. Here to tell you they stayed true to the locals, and I grabbed 2 boxes to round out my collection and was pleased! I look forward to growing the community in all games as this shop is literally around the corner! Finally Fay-Manlius has a lgs, and I think only amazing things will come from it!.

This set is our second return to Innistrad and the werewolves are winning. The cards are fun to play, some neat new keywords, and the black and white lands are striking in their simplicity. Overall a great set with solid value.

Just getting back into MTG after a hiatus. Very pleased with the new set boosters vs draft boosters! An excellent product for the joy of cracking packs and expanding the collection. Well done Wizards!

Pretty cute. Got them just for fun so I’m not worried about the text being small. You’re getting miniature trading cards, of course they’re small! I haven’t used them to actually play the game due to their size, but they’re a fun collectable to have around!.

This was something I had to have. Recently I decided to get back into collecting MTG as I always loved the art. My 8yr old seen some and really liked them as well so when I seen these I had to get some for her to play with her dolls and I’ll be getting a couple to hold back.

These mini cards are neat. Had fun going through them. Looks like they will last if played. Includes a banned artist, not sure how long they will be for sale or if they will see more prints.

I love the crack. The crack of fresh packs that is haha. I bought a couple of these boxes with my allowance recently and everything was going swell until I started opening packs. Turns out, I was cracking so loud and so hard, that my wife couldn’t sleep! We already sleep in separate bedrooms, so I must have been cracking the sound barrier for her to hear me.

I just get so excited. I put on my favorite Youtubers and crack along with them (pausing frequently to compare pulls). I reached out to customer support to see if maybe Wizards was using some new loud wrappers or super crackly glue.

No luck. Guess I’m just a loud little pack cracker. They were super nice though, 1 rep (male) even made some great suggestions on how to rekindle things with the wifey. Hint: it did not involve cracking more packs at 2AM.

I’ll be saving up my GBP (good boy points) again for more cards from Game Nerdz for sure. Hopefully I can someday shake this addiction though. haha just joshin’, I’ll never be able to quit.

I was pulled into the box opening hype on other streaming services, so since this was on a lot of their lists, I made it onto mine as well. I feel like I got some decent pills from this box! Came close to paying for itself (considering all the videos were a year or older, for prices to stay that high for some of the cards was pretty outstanding), the booster box that is.

Not entirely sure if I see why its priced so much higher, must still be too much of a greenhorn at MTG. I hope to make another purchase of this one soon though and give it another shot!.

I pre-ordered this at $230. That price is still on the low end of current market prices. My boys and I have opened 26 of 30 packs. We have some nice pulls: Arid Mesa Retro, Misty Rainforest, Cabal Coffers, Dauthi Voidwalker and a couple Ignoble Hierarchs.

Several other cards in the $2 and above. In the end, I think that the single card value will exceed the individual card price, but that was not really the point for us. My boys just want cool cards, and they are also thrilled with Thrasta, Dakkon, Tourach and Asmorana.

A fun set to open and to play!.

This set should have been amazing. 25 years of cards to pull from and they pulled garbage. Their choice for cards to represent the sets were horrible. No shivan dragon, no force of will, no Liliana from world wake.

They tried too hard to please too many groups of players and it killed the set. Dont buy. Save your money for Dominaria.

WoTC delivers another 10 dollar a pack set with my mythical being doomsday, tree of redemption , Armageddon. Foil was mystic snake. As a collector and avid player its rough to spend money on a box and get no real value for my collection or cards I need for decks in modern.

Draft Boosters are an excellent way playing magic in a draft/sealed/limited format of Magic while also adding a lot of cool and new range of cards to your collection that can be used for your other decks in other Magic formats, including Commander.

In particular Zendikar Rising offers some very cool game mechanics to play with in a limited format setting including Kicker, Landfall, DMFCs, and the Party Mechanic. A lot of Zendikar Rising cards can be used for Commander which is particularly appealing if you also play Commander as well.

In terms of gameplay for limited format, draft boosters are still the way to go, you can still have so much fun opening draft boosters and the limited gameplay of Zendikar Rising has been very fun to play with.

Constructing decks is very fun with this set because of the dual model cards that can also be used as lands which makes deck creating and assembling very fun in Limited. Plus with the purchase of the Draft Booster Box, you also get a Box Topper non foil Expedition land which has a great border and can be very valuable depending on which one you open! I do highly recommend the product for new, experienced and returning players of Magic!.

– Came as expected. Had the sealed card bonus in it. Had good mix of mythic rates, which I watch for in sealed products and vendors. (i. e. no tampering noticed) – Came ontime and with good price. – Sealed box came damaged, but seal was not broken.

It was not shipped in a harder cardboard box and the edges were broken and it was out of shape. No card damage, but it is midely concerning when the cards could easily be damaged, value decrease by bad shipping.

– Overall happy. I ordered a different MTG product and it came inside a cardboard box so I feel better about the shipping. I’ll continue to watch for damage on cards though.

Collector Store always has good prices and I picked up my order in the store because you can’t get buy-a-box promos if you have your order delivered, but my order was ready even before I was ready to pick it up.

Overall, I think the expedition boxtopper idea is one of the best marketing ideas that Wizards has done for a while. You get quite a bit of extra value with your box. From the 5 boxtoppers I’ve opened, they really seem to be random.

Overall thus far mine have probably been about average. Mine were (in order of value): Cavern of Souls, Verdant Catacombs, Arid Mesa, and 2 Horizon Canopy. Getting the 2 canopies in a case makes me think that the distribution of boxtoppers is very random.

From a collector’s perspective, the boxes have been good. Each one (including the 5th, as I only have a few packs to open from it) has had at least 5 mythics (not including the box topper), and one had 6, so that’s been above average.

I haven’t had much time to look at the values of my mythics, but as a collector, the more, the better. Overall, I think the box toppers make buying a box of Zendikar Rising a really good value.

I have never had a bad experience with The Collector Store. My go to for new Magic sealed product. To my surprise on release date even in the pandemic! Truly above and beyond with great prices to boot!.

MH2 is a great product. This bundle was on sale at a great price. This set has fetch lands which has been what players have wanted for a long time in addition there are many great reprints as well as powerful new cards.

Product was perfect as described. Took longer to arrive due to Wizards backlog delays. Highly recommended

Great looking cards. I really enjoyed opening them. They have a nice feel.

The latest Commander deck out- if you have enjoyed the mechanics of the previous Zendikar sets then this is a great addition, with buffs for elementals. A great way into Commander for anyone new to the game.

I picked up a box from the Collector Store on release day. I must say, that even though the base price seems slightly higher on the Battle for Zendikar booster box, as compared to other recent releases, it was still a lot of fun opening every pack.

I didn’t pull an expedition land (got that in pre-release), there was still a good amount of value in the cards over all. Worth the purchase, and still some of the lowest prices on these!.

The release of Battle for Zendikar marks a new high in potential value for Magic the Gathering sets, as Wizards of the Coast sprinkled premium full art Zendikar Expedition lands throughout the print run.

The set itself is great fun for limited (sealed and draft) play, with plenty of value in the set to justify the price tag and even more upside with the potential of pulling a foiled alt-art reprint fetch land.

Wizards got it right on this one!.

Very fast shipping. Box came sealed and in great condition. No expedition, but ulamog in packs. Comfortable in buying again from this store.

This set is so much fun! Many of the cards seem slower than the previous sets, but that is because Eldrazis are back. The really cool part is the expedition lands, pull one of those and you make your money back on the box by itself, plus everything else you pulled.

the staff at collector store is always great. They great me when I arrive, the help me find what I go in for, and they treat me like they appreciate my business. Another great thing about collector store they have great prices on there products.

I usually just buy mtg products, though occasionally I buy some baseball cards. They also have a huge selection of singles cards to choose from and are sorted easily enough to find. I have recommended collector store to several friends already and will continue to do so.

These were on sale for $5 each, so I bought a few. What a mistake. None of the packs had anything decent in them. All throwaway cards.

I got four of these boosters on sale for 2.99 full of mostly commons and uncommons and one rare in each pack. Not a bad thing if you need filler for a deck i would not buy this at full price.
