20 Best Zero Tolerance Build (2022 Updated)

As stated above, this saw is awesome when it works. I’ve owned this saw since August 2021 and at first I thought this was the true replacement to corded saws until about 3 months ago the trigger just gave out after sitting on the horse for 20 minutes, not even in the middle of a cut.

I took the saw apart and the contacts in the trigger seem fine and clean, all the springs are in place on the safety thumb lever so I put everything back together and it worked perfectly. Then a few days later the same problem happened, being the only saw on my truck, the day was halted until I went home to get my corded saw.

Now I keep both saws in my truck, this one to cut until it decides to take a nap and my plug in to finish the day. no its not a battery problem, I use all Milwaukee batteries xc 5ah 6ah 9ah. its not a binding problem, im not building canoes and I dont push the saw through material, especially if im missing a tooth or two on the blade.

seems like its some thermal overload feature or something that saves the motor or possibly a faulty switch/trigger. Don’t get me wrong I love my m18 framing gun and impact wrenches/drivers, this isn’t a Milwaukee bash.

Just seems like a steep price for a saw that hasn’t even worked flawlessly for a whole year while my corded saw is a hand-me-down from my dad and has a good 25+ years of framing in the rain/snow, demo jobs, ect.

Milwaukee’s M18 FUEL 6 1/2″ circular saw brings a lot of power to the table allowing you to make fast cuts and more cuts per charge. The guard and shoe on the saw are made of cast magnesium which makes the saw durable and light in weight.

Also the circular saw has an on board LED light to help you see your cuts and also a rafter hook for easy storage on the job site. The saw also has the ability to make bevel cuts up to 50 degrees. I’m writing this review coming from using the M18 brushed version of the 6 1/2″ circular saw.

That saw has served me well for over 5 years and I have zero complaints with that saw, but when compared to the FUEL version, they are not comparable. Right out the gate the FUEL version is lighter at only 6.

8 lbs compared to the older version which is 9. 0 lbs. The amount of power this saw generates is perfect for cutting 2x4s. The tool is well balanced and comfortable for one handed use. Having a rafter hook is such a huge convenience and helps to keep your work area cleaner.

I typically run this saw with a XC5. 0 battery but if I’m doing a lot of framing then I’ll run it with an 8. 0 high output battery and it pretty much lasts the whole day. Overall very happy with the performance of this saw!!.

I had to add this to my tool arsenal, as I own the m12 circular saw and it just kept bogging down while cutting old subfloor up from our house. Overall this M18 Fuel version is a very solid product and I am extremely happy with it.

It is very well built, well balanced considering it’s size and has enough power to cut through anything from 3/4″ plywood, to OSB, to 1/2″ oak boards nonstop. I’ve even hit quite a few nails with it while cutting subfloor up and it went through them like butter and the blade withstood no damage! Like to Haves: – I was hoping there would be a laser or at least a light to work in conjunction with this.

– If the blade alignment marking on the shoe was a bight color (red) to help it stand out and cut with better results staying on the line without a guide. – The dust shoot could use another attachment that allows the dust to be redirected based on where I would want it to point.

Using this in a house/in a room cutting up old subfloor the saw dust. – I tend to remove the joist/rafter hooks off my products, so if there was a cap that was able to cover this empty area that would be a nice detail.

Let me begin by saying that I am a big Milwaukee fan. I have a good selection of their hand power tools from flashlights, radio/chargers to angle drill and grinders and as well as the heated jacket, hoodie, and T-shirts.

However, this tool as powerful as it may be and as long as the charge lasts, is in need of a major redesign. It is a bit heavier although not critical but most importantly, it can’t be used as a scroll saw as the typical scroll blade is somewhat shorter than a straight cut blade.

The tool was designed with an overly tall base and shoe to allow for tilting which means that the distance from the point of attachment of the blade to the underside of the shoe is such that the blade retracts almost completely past the shoe on the upstroke.

This results in the blade partially missing the saw cut and on the down stroke striking the material to be cut and throwing the tool up. This is repeated on the subsequent cycle at which point the tool is now well off-course and the material to be cut has a dent where the blade was not supposed to be and the blade is either broke or bent.

The operator will receive a unexpected sharp blow to the hand holding the tool while doing the detail work. A word of caution. Keep the other hand well away from the tool as it bounces around until releasing the trigger.

I have been unable to find longer scroll blades and some regular blades are also too short for cutting into standard two-inch stock. (Mine was a gift so I couldn’t return it).

The M-18 D Handle Jig Saw is a must have for any professional or do it yourselfers. It’s a tad heavy when adding one of the big batteries but you’ll get over that when you feel the power in your hand.

The first thing I did was use it while installing a new window, I drilled a small whole through the side of the house, inserted the blade and ripped through the siding, house wrap and 1” inch wood slabs used on my 100 year old house.

You could ask why I didn’t use a Sawzall which I also own. But sometimes a job like that takes a mixture of power and delicacy, and that’s exactly what this jig saw offers. Sometimes you have to treat the project like a woman….

start out delicately but know you have the power to to get the job done when it calls for it. So I gave this thing an amazing 4-stars and if it wasn’t for the weight I’d give it a 5. Do yourself a favor and add this to your arsenal and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Recently used this saw to cut some steel exterior doors and was impressed with the performance. Especially like the quick blade stop, the light and the transparent blade guard that does a lot to contain the debris.

Had 2 doors to cut so did the first without the vac attachment and the second with. Not much of a difference in debris on the second, maybe 30% less? Still an improvement. The bad: Bought this saw on Saturday, July 2nd.

When I unpacked the saw discovered one missing part and one damaged part. I immediately emailed customer support. Then another email on Wednesday, July 6th. Then another one 3 days later and yet another one this past Thursday.

NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. Do better Milwaukee. For the pricing premium you charge you would think you could pay for customer support staff. I submitted a customer form to Bosch and the local rep called me at my office the next day!.

The WD Blue SN570 1TB SSD is a fantastic upgrade to any computer running a traditional mechanical hard drive or to replace an existing smaller capacity SSD. Just make sure your computer has a compatible M.

2 SSD port, and you’re off to the races. The drive cam securely packaged, and was very easy to install. I did have to create a boot disk using the Windows go into my PC’s BIOS and disable RAID in order for my machine to recognize the device.

Also, if installing the SSD as your boot drive on a Windows PC, you will need to create a Windows USB boot drive using the Windows media creation tool. This is a simple process, and many good tutorials are available online.

The one issue I had with the device, and my reason for 4 stars vs. 5 stars, was the failure of WD to include hold down screws and spacers. My PC did not have these, because I was installing the SSD in a machine that had only a traditional HDD.

I first checked with Best Buy, and then ordered twice from an online retailer before getting what I needed to complete the install. WD could supply a few standoffs and screws in the two sizes normally encountered and make this a complete package for just a few pennies.

It would have made my installation a 30 minute affair instead of dragging on for most of a week over a standoff and a screw. Overall, this SSD accomplishes exactly what one expects from an SSD. Extremely quick boot times and nearly instantaneous file access without the noise of the traditional spinning disc.

The large 1TB capacity is also excellent for most users. Unless you’re doing lots of video editing, storing large numbers of movies and TV shows, or have a huge photo library, this size should be sufficient.

Best of luck choosing an SSD for your machine. If you pick this one, you won’t be disappointed, just make sure you have the hardware to install!.

I’ve had this for a year and like it for its small size and weight. I have CP3. 0 and XC6. 0 battery packs and the saw does perform much better on the larger pack with the CP3. 0 only being suitable for thinner material as the saw will tend to stall cutting 2x4s with this pack.

I have used it to rip 2x material and it will barely make it through an 8′ cut before the battery overheats and has to cool. Not what the saw is designed for but it’s good to know it can do it if necessary as long as you’re patient with it.

Depth and bevel controls work well and smoothly, fence is well designed. Tough saw that endures the occasional drop. Good saw if you’re building your tools around the M12 system or trying to keep overall size and weight under tight control.

I am a full time traveler in a RV. I live off grid at times and cordless tools are a must I started buying Milwaukee tools when I was on a farm and was blown away with performance of every tool I was buying due to exceptional performance and the long lasting battery power.

It only made since to stick with quality when buying more tools. I bought the multi purpose and skill saw tools for building a desk for the RV so I could sand it down but it has come in handy for some trim work and cutting out some of my cabinetry to add more shelves.

I would definitely refer any one to Milwaukee tools to get jobs done they won’t let you down, I am living proof to that. My next tool will be the cordless 12” M18 miter saw and possibly the table saw as well.

I bought this for some projects around home. Ripping plywood for shelving, quick cuts on 2×4’s and 2×6’s, etc. I don’t know how people are having issues with this saw. No, you can’t push it like a corded worm drive saw, but hey, it isn’t made for that! If you think that going in to buying it, maybe you need to learn how to buy tools.

If you use a little common sense this can be a really nice saw to have around. Obviously a larger battery is nice, like the xc6. 0, and this definitely makes the saw shine. I cut up three sheets of half inch plywood on one battery with this saw.

I made one 4′ cut and two 6. 5′ cuts on each sheet. I never had a problem. It was nice because the saw was easier to control on the long cuts than a bigger, heavier saw. The blade never stopped, and it cut more than reasonably quick.

Just don’t push it like a big saw or expect it to do the job of a big saw and you will be really happy, and you can still do reasonably big jobs with a nice, light saw that doesn’t tire your arm out.

This was a fun weekend project. Opening the box the instruction guide is pretty thick. But it’s broken up into multiple segments. Build quality is excellent, as is most Lego stuff. It looks nice posed in my display case along with my other gaming collectables.

I bought this LEGO set for myself and it’s pretty great! everything Refrences the old Sonic game. Robotniks articulation is kind of disappointing but I watched a tutorial to make the movement but overall I love this Sonic set if your kids or youlike Sonic then this set is the right set.

Great Lego set for the 18 up crowd though if you want to get it all done at once with assembling be prepared to have a minimum of 6 hours set aside. Though not pictured here I put it together enjoyed it so much.

A definite nostalgia piece 🥰.

i bought this same exact straightener in 2015 – it lasted until 2022 and served me well, so i bought this newer version and im SO HAPPY. the braided cord alone is so much better. its well made, durable and heats up quick.

the titanium plates are amazing – youll never buy ceramic again. i have a dyson straightener as well and this babyliss is eons better. dont look any further. this is the straughtener youve been looking for.

Picked these up to replace some old cams that made up my first trad rack. Coming from cams that were circa late 80’s early 90’s these things are sick! Have only climbed on them 3 separate times and about 7 pitches worth of climbing but these are my initial thoughts.

Really lightweight, the camming action is smooth and the trigger is easy to work with. I like the extendable sling, it’s fairly easy to extend with one hand. Haven’t figured out the best usage scenarios for the extendable sling yet but it’s a neat feature.

Somewhat of a bummer that you lose 2kn when extended but if you’re putting 10kn of force on your cam you have other problems. Don’t have much to compare them to but my brother has a more modern version of c4’s and they are very similar.

The placement range is nearly identical and the colors are the same. Overall really highly recommend them!.

Wild Country cams have some very nice features. They certainly grip well and don’t move much with rope drag. The alpine draw feature is great for minor extensions, when the rope is running almost straight.

The big wire loop in the main cam is great for clipping into when a longer extension is required. Finally the color is easy to spot, making it quick to grab the right size. They are functioning very similar to the Black Diamond and I think I recall reading somewhere that there is some cross licensing of design.

I?ve only ever used C4s and Dragons. I had never owned any WC gear. So when it was time to buy some new gear, I started reading up on all the newer cams. I kept coming back to the updated friends. Thicker Machined lobes, more bite, extendable slings, etc.

So I decided to try these (plus they were on sale lol). I bought a set, and after using them for a few weekends, I bought a second set? and a set of Zero Friends too. I love them. I do like the extendable slings on them, that?s a nice touch.

But I mainly just like how sturdy these things feel in my hand, and how they stick in placements. These things seem to stay put a little better than my old C4s or Dragons. The thick lobes are also confidence inspiring.

These new Friends seem like a combination of the best features of the C4s and Dragons. I?ve taken a few big falls on sketchy placements, and these held without any issues. Buy with confidence ! On a side note, these cams are great looking too.

Lol. I know that doesn?t really matter?but it doesn?t hurt either.

This board does what it needs to do at a fair price. It has front panel USB-C support, which is better than a rear panel USB-C. Only two fan headers is an odd design choice for a gaming board, but workarounds exist if you need more.

Having used the Asus BIOS for the last 20 years, I was a little leery of the Gigabyte BIOS, but like the rest of the board, it gets the job done competently. Technically, I should probably give it four stars because it does have some compromises and it isn’t cheap, but I really don’t have much to complain about for my use case.

I paired it with a 5700G with the hope that the graphics card nightmare will ease by mid-2022. The BIOS was recent enough on my board to support the 5700G, but a newer one was available and installing it was easy.

Maybe I have led a charmed life, but I have never received a DOA part of any kind from any seller in 30 years of building PC’s. Yeah, I’m old. I know that DOA parts are a legit problem, but I can’t help but wonder what kind of handling those supposed DOA parts actually got.

Would I recommend it? – Yes Is it reasonably for the price? – Yes Is it aesthetically pleasing? – Yes OK, so why isn’t is a perfect 5/5? Well, there are two things that absolutely do a disservice to the overall package.

There’s another oddity that needs mentioning, but was otherwise easy to overlook. Part one was basic BIOS access. because it flashes so fast as to be a bad joke. Please, give us some more time. and maybe even an option to change the timing within the BIOS.

Couldn’t find that one. Part two was the construction. Don’t get me wrong, most of it is great. My frustration is the tiny fan installed onto the X570 Chipset itself. It’s not capable of moving much air, and it’s exposed in such a way as to be easily damaged.

Neither gives me faith that this thing is much more than a cosmetic. Finally, the frustration. One of the two M. 2 slots has a cover. Great. It’s labelled as a heat dissipation device, and it’s only goal seems to be aesthetically hiding the drives (that are often just a PCB and thus not aesthetically pleasing).

What’s frustrating then? Well, 1/2 seems like a half measure. It’d be nice to have something. but if you’re getting a decently large GPU the area will likely be covered. It’s thus not a negative. but it is weird if the goal is to actually increase performance by dissipating heat.

None of the negative above should prevent you from purchasing this board. It’s great, with a 5600x it runs 64 GB of RAM at 3200 16-18-18-28 without issue, and it’s less finicky than all of the previous Ryzen generation setups I’ve dealt with.

That alone should make it good. and 4/5 is not worth dismissing. Everything makes compromises between features, design, and cost. This board does it very well.

I used the Aorus Elite Wifi Motherboard for my first time computer build and paired it with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. I wanted to be able to use the PCIe 4. 0 for a M. 2 slot and my GPU and operate cordless via WiFi if need-be.

Its been up and running for about a week now and I am very pleased with the outcome. A couple of minor issues I ran into: (1) I tried to test the motherboard before placing it in the case (RAM and GPU inserted and hooked up to a Power source and the monitor) but could not get a signal to the monitor.

I decided to finish the build and then tried the power button on the case and thankfully it worked. There haven’t been any issues turning the computer on or off since. Not sure if this is due to my lack of experience building.

(2) The other issue was with the ports at the bottom. I decided to add fans to the bottom of my case and this meant that some of the cords had to be awkwardly angled in order to fit (the USB connector slot).

But they work just fine and its actually not noticeable on the finished build. This is prolly due to the case I have, so double check spacing if you also want to have some fans near the bottom edge of the motherboard.

(3) The RGB lighting controls for the fans is “good enough. ” At times the RAM doesn’t light up correctly or at all. The RGB is probably the biggest issue out of the three for me but not so bad that I would remove a star.

Other things to note: I am using a Power Hub to connect/power the fans so that I am not overloading the few fan ports that come with the motherboard. I haven’t tried to overclock, outside of changing the XMP settings, and have had no issues with BIOS.

I currently only use the top M. 2 slot so it isn’t a problem for me, but the GPU does slightly cover the lower M. 2 slot. I am not sure if it is actually a hindrance though. The issues were pretty minor and I am definitely pleased with the way things have turned out so far.

I’m a professional who makes my living with quality tools. Efficiency equates to higher profits at the end of the day. I changed my platform from Makita to Milwaukee because I felt Milwaukee for the most part had a better tool and helped my efficiency.

I was quite excited to go to a cordless miter saw and ditch the cord. I love the saw when it works. This saw has had issues from the day it came out of the box. Put a battery in and no response. Take battery out and put back in and good to go.

Shouldn’t have to do that. Then it started killing the battery. Put a battery in battery shows dead put on charger shows full instantly. Put back on saw pull the trigger and now no blade break. Pull the trigger again and completely dead.

Call 1800sawdust they tell me I can take it to a service center or send it in. I ask if they can just send the part to me as service center is a 100 mile round trip and finding a box to ship it in is probably out of the question.

Third option was purchase the part out right from a online vender for $375. No thanks it has a warranty for a reason. Take it to the service center and get told electronic assembly is shot. Which is what 1800sawdust told me.

Service Center says part is on back order from Milwaukee with no release date. Service Center tells me that typically means 6-8 months until repair can be made. They point to another miter on their floor and tell me that one has been sitting there 8 months waiting for parts.

What do I do? Buy another saw to stay within the Milwaukee platform or buy another brand? I can’t wait 8 months for a repair. I purchased another Milwaukee and hope I don’t regret it. If I didn’t already have so much investment in Milwaukee tools and batteries I’d of made a different decision.

Would I recommend this saw? Probably not if you depend on your Miter saw for your income each week.

This saw began its life with AHHs, but within a week things began to change. It now has to go back to the shop for only god knows how long. The first repair took 4 months. Second, 2 months. What good is a 5 year warranty if before a year the saw needs to be repaired 3 times? The motor has completely quit.

It has turned into a variable speed saw at one point. And now the brake has stopped working. The last time the saw was repaired, they even managed to break the dust bag mount and still gave it back to me without saying a word.

Seems like Milwaukee needs a bit more R&D on this thing before re-releasing it? If you are a working professional who uses a miter saw daily, DO NOT BUY THIS SAW. My original 8 1/2″ Hitachi compound slide is still working – 30 years strong.

Maybe it’s time to look at Metabo.

Bought this saw to build my personal house and not need to hook up temp. power in a rural location and also not turn on generator non-stop. The saw lasted less than a month, brake stopped working then the saw died completely today.

I don’t have employees beating the saw up, just me and I’m super careful with it because I expected it to be less idiot proof than a corded mitre. We’ll see if Milwaukee does anything quickly because my project is dead without a mitre saw and I can’t just go down and buy another one in rural Idaho/Montana.

Very disappointed. I actually used this saw as an excuse to start building a Milwaukee collection next to all my DeWalt stuff and I’m wondering if I made the right choice. I spent 3k in one go, mitre, table, blower, batteries, pex tool, rivet tool, etc.

If they don’t jump though hoops to get me up and running ASAP I’m getting rid of all of it.

I givs CCL moneyz. They gives me this. It’s a motherboard. I connect things into it and it shines pretty lights and makes my pc pieces and stuffs do their thingies. It has a distinct lack of usb ports for a full atx motherboard.

The thermal slug. ekhm. thermal pad that for some reason is situated above my nvme ssd(ha, threw half that thing in the garbage where it belongs. ) was cooling the controller which is nice, and cool.

nyeh nyeh, pun intended. but it was also touching the actual memory chip which wears down less when hot so. thermal pad bad! I would cut off anything that isn’t touching the ssd’s controller off and do what I did- Begone that THOT(THermal ObfuscaTion) into a landfill or somewhere where they can be disposed of safely and environmentally friendly if yr that sensitive to toxicity.

Memory overclocking on this motherboard is nice, at least a noob like me thinks so. Idk why it has so much vrms but there you go, might outlast my cpu at the temps it’s reporting to be running at with, those nice caps.

Pcie slots are designed to allow for running multiple 3 slot devices which is quite considerate. (Imagine being able to afford 2 top of the line 3 slot gpus when they go for 5x msrp price. ) The little plastic piece of doo doo which the mobo wants you to use in order to connect all of the front io switches into before connecting the whole assembly to the mobo slot was so bad I’ve given up after 5 minutes of trying to squeeze these tiny cables into it (why was I born with sausage hands ma?! why? I’m skinny and these sausages are so THICC?!?) and just did it like a normal human being.

by plugging the cables in without it. The ram slots are “reinforced”. Idk why. Someone their customer service dealt with in the past was smart enough to tear them out from a motherboard when servicing ram at home? Is that something that happened in real life? Dayum.

man’s be stronk not smert sometimes. It comes with a nice cup coaster. It even has a brand name, something something DVD? Idk why but it has a little hole in the middle. It has pretty debug lights, too bad they only light up when something in your system is messed up, oh well, can’t have it all am I right? It even has additional voltage rails for you to attach your non existent pro hardcore gamer tag overclocking devices into.

I like this motherboard, is it worth the price? Yes if you need everything this mobo has to offer and nothing less. You don’t need 1 or two things? Well then buy something cheaper that doesn’t have those things since you will be spending your money on nothing.

I also liked how it smelled out of the box, I love the smell of chemicals in the morning. I hope my review has helped you in your shopping and you will be making a slightly more informed buyers choice now.

I won’t recommend this product. I’ve faced a booting issue with this mb. Suddenly, my pc got shut down. After that, it did not even boot-up. Nothing turned on except Power LED in mb. I have searched in tech forums and found a similar issue faced by many folks with this mb.

Search for “Gigabyte X570 Master Booting issue” in google. You will find many posts related to it. Tried those solutions but none has helped me. I have returned this mb(7 days old) and got a new one.

New one worked fine but sometimes it’s not booting the OS then I need to press the power button to turn off and turn on again. I don’t know if it’s having any other issues and when it’s going to die.

I bought this AM4 socket board to pair with new 5000 series 12/16 core monsters. All X570 boards are supposed to support 5000 series at launch. First AMD build in my life. Great amount of fan connectors which made my build so easy and all of them support PWM control which can be controlled using bios.

First RGB build this one, and found 2 different positions on the board supporting RGB headers, great convenience for addressing RGB bling appropriately. All independent tech reviews point to a solid VRM solution for overclocking stability, so was reassured of the quality.

Many reviewers put this board at the top of the x570 desirability stack. Additionally I wanted two USB3. 0 front panel headers, which were supported by this board. Built in Wifi 6 so saves 60-70 dollars for getting aftermarket solution.

Additionally, it supports faster ethernet speeds (2. 5G) vs 1G found generally. Useful if connecting to faster fileserver at home (though, have to add a faster ethernet adapter to it too). All bells and whistles of x570 chipsets included.

PCIE-gen4 is the selling point of this board which is useful for faster storage (gen4 NVMe drives), not so much for graphics cards todAy as PCIe-gen3 is still fast enough for graphics. To note: upper 2 NVMe are pice-gen4 and 3rd slot is pcie-gen3.

If using the 3rd slot, 2 SATA ports are inactivated. I think a good buy if pairing with higher core AMD processors.

I must say it gives me apprehension to build PCs for family, much more so than friends. Last year I fell in love with Lian Li’s TU150 mini itx case and was prepared to build another, but the family member actually wanted a larger size, they wanted a white case and this checked those boxes.

For the rest of the build, the options are immense – Mini ITX, mATX and ATX builds are supported, though the only power supply size accepted is SFX and SFX/L. Also white motherboards exist to match the snow theme but some have gimped features or less options so be warned.

Because of the options presented for motherboards, there are a lot of including accessories to reconfigure the entire PCI backplate in a variety of ways. The cube like shape gives ample room for organizing cables I paired this with an Asus ROG STrix B550-F motherboard and Ryzen 5600G, I can’t tell you how well it supports GPU as that has not arrived yet.

The major con is no included fans, even some bargain-basement fans could of allowed me to ship this off faster. Though this build won’t have 3. 5 inch HDDs, I am not a fan of the design of the tray and although its cool a case of this size can hold two, along with 2 2.

5inch ssd slots, i would not run a home server or media focused PC out of this case.

This case is awesome, with the ability to use every size MOBO except E-ATX, your options are almost unlimited. Its not quite mini and not quite a mid tower but it looks great and is super easy to build in.

When you get the case, make sure to check it out for damage. It was packed well, but mine took a hit on the corner and I have a cracked foot and slightly bent edge which I was thankfully able to bend back into shape.

Everything in this case can be removed, shifted, adjusted to fit your needs. The only real complaint I have with this case so far is the cable management on the backside. With ARGB fans there is a LOT of combining/zip tying of cables and then trying to jam them in any open space you can find.

The strap path is fine for the included cables but not much else. Also, make sure you buy a fully modular SFX power supply (I picked up the Cooler Master V850 SFX) if not the unused cables will be a pain in the tail to stash.

Putting the fully modular aspect aside, I found this case to be quite a challenge to build in. The case itself is well made and well packaged. I found some of the modular screws to be super tight almost as if they were fitted while the paint was still drying.

The box of spare screws comes in handy in case one gets damaged during the initial unscrew. Requiring a small form factor (SFX) power supply unit wasn’t a big deal. They are readily available, costing a little more than an standard sized PSU.

You could fit two SFX power supplies by removing the hard drive bay, if you were to say, run duel 3090’s in some sort of SLI config. I was hoping there was more room to fit a radiator to the top of the case when using a full size ATX motherboard.

Or even room for a 360mm radiator mounted to the side. Unfortunately 280 is the biggest that can go side mounted with 360 only available at the bottom of the case when using a full ATX motherboard, obviously not suitable for an AIO.

that aside you can fit 360mm worth of fans on the top as long as its only fans you want to place there. The cable management is fantastic. Best I have dealt with! You would only be let down by the cables that come with your PSU.

and they can always be changed out to custom made cables. In order vertical mount your GPU, like everything based on this case, you need to buy an expensive bracket designed especially for this case (available at PB tech) which is available in both PCI-e gen 3 and 4.

That aside, this is a future proofed case that will probably outlast the next couple of CPU/MB upgrades you will no doubt be purchasing in the future. I want to keep with a particular theme while using the Lian Li UNI fans for more ARGB control but the finished product will come at a considerable cost.

But if your buying this case to make an incredibly beautiful machine, then that’s going to cost you. Just perhaps more than you think. Overall, I feel this case would be suited an MATX build to ensure you have room at the top of the case for a radiator.

This case when coupled with the right fans and water cooling config would be the last case you would ever need to buy.

Don’t believe the box when it says for 18+ I bought this for myself when on offer but didn’t get chance to build it as my 6 year old granddaughter claimed it for herself. She was able to follow the instructions and didn’t need any help with the building which took her a day.

The finished piece looks fabulous and is fun to play with.

Having played Sonic many years ago this Lego set brings back so many memories! It’s fun to build but the addition of Knuckles, my favourite character, would have enhanced it even more.

I recently bought a Steam Valve Index VR setup and started using it on my home theater PC (i7-6700 on an MSI Pro Carbon mobo with 16 gigs of ram and a GTX1080 GPU). I found that after running some games like Arizona Sunshine or Time Carnage VR, the CPU would spike up to 98-100% on all cores while the GPU was maxing out at about 45%.

I decided to rebuild the computer using this CPU, an ASRock B550 Taichi, and 32 gigs of ram. I kept the GPU since a graphics card will pretty much cost you an organ these days, and the 1080 is still a strong performer.

The 5600X is about 700 mhz faster than the 6700, has 2 additional cores and 4 more threads, a much newer architecture, and it made short work of load times! In addition to that, all cores peak at about 88%, and the GPU is now showing about 55% usage.

5600X and 6700 are both 65W chips, but it’s amazing what 4 or 5 years newer tech gets you! In the AMD lineup, for gaming, the 5600X is it. The 5800X is much more expensive for only modest gains (content creation tasks aside), and the 5900X or 5950X are waaaaay more expensive and very much aimed towards content creators.

The 5600X is probably the very best price:performance deal in computer chips in a very long time!.

It itself is a decent CPU. But at the moment, there are no good motherboards to pair this which, heavily hampering it’s value proposition against it’s competitor, the 13600K, which it’s socket, the LGA 1700 socket, has matured to a point where there are good value offering for reputable brands.

This will most likely not be the case in the future, so don’t let this change your decision. Another issue is not supporting DDR4, which the 13600K does. So if you care about value, the 13600K is a no-brainer at the moment.

As for performance, according to AMD, it is roughly on par with Intel’s last gen 12900K! Usually this would be incredible, but remember, Intel isn’t playing around with 13th gen. Overall review: Due to it’s expensive adoption costs, and being a new platform, I would recommend a 13600K over this.

Ive bought around 9 different youth bows of all price ranges for my 2 sons and daughter. This bow is leaps and bounds over anything else. No matter the draw length or draw weight it feels smooth and solid over the entire adjustment range.

Easy to shoot, forgiving, solid valley, quiet, smooth draw, smooth shot and vibration free. Its accepts all the big boy accessories and it can smoothly transition into a full blown grown up bow. I actually shot it at 56# @ 30 draw and was amazed how good it felt.

Its not the fastest or the most flashiest but worth every penny. My son shoots it at 27 @ 40# and absolutely loves it. Its super lightweight and has a solid feel to it, nothing youth or flimsy about it.

Trust me you wont find another bow to compete in this price range or even twice as much. Like Ive said its not a speed bow or the fanciest bow but a bow that actually works perfect for teaching youth and slowly transition into a grown up bow.

Great first bow, so far. I purchased this bow today. The sales associate (Greg) helped get me setup and going. He was very helpful and answered all of my numerous questions. During our testing of draw length and draw weight I fired a couple arrows and noticed, as well as Greg, that there was no sound other than the arrow hitting the target.

This bow is super quiet. My wife has the Diamond Infinite Edge Pro (we bought that last week) and even it’s not this quiet. I’ve shot about a dozen times and still have some work to do dialing in the site, but so far I’m impressed and very very happy with my purchase.

If you’re thinking about getting started this is a great way to go. It comes with everything you need, except arrows. I would also recommend getting a full size case as the compact case would have been a little tight for my liking.

I would recommend this to anyone looking to get started. Great value for the money.

Bought this for my girlfriend because I had $500 in gift cards. The bow itself is the quality of a $200 bow IMO but,, she liked the bows draw cycle and shot so, my opinion is on the quality alone. Limbs seem nice, cams are nice but cheap plastic modules, Riser machining is mediocre, finish is ok, stabilizer dampens nice, sight is junk, quiver works decent, wrist sling is nice, the limb pockets are metal, rest seems ok but plastic & questionable, strings seem good for now.

* It was severely out of cam timing, bow needed to be pressed & cables twisted/untwisted + cam lean adjusted. Its in time now but,, it frequently shoots a random flyer arrow at 5yards which is odd. The “whisker biscuit” type of rest might be the culprit but, I’ve never had a problem with those even on my flagship bows.

We’ll keep digging into it and trying to get rid of the odd random flyer arrow but if not, we’ll be bringing it back to get into something else. The archery department in Woodbury MN Cabela’s is very poor – THERE IS NONE / NOBODY THERE !!!! Rogers MN has a worker who won’t setup a bow to shoot, acts condescending and confrontational to someone who isn’t new to archery.

I just wanted a simple bow for my girlfriend. Luckily there was 1 other worker who I waited to buy the bow from. If you buy this bow – make sure the shop has workers who care enough to get the bow timed and actually ready to shoot.

Otherwise be prepared to bring it in to have done if you don’t have equipment for yourself. Good bow to see if you even like Archery.

Look no further if you are looking for a phenomenal MTB to grow your riding and future mechanical skills. With so many different brands producing trail bikes, and with so many different people telling you to look elsewhere, there is no better platform to build and ride your perfect bike than the Stumpjumper.

The geometry creates a very fun, fast, and surprisingly comfortable ride. Whether you are climbing or descending, this bike can take you wherever you dare to go. Some people have had issues with the components that come with this bike, but I have not had any issues in my first 100 miles.

You shouldn’t have any issues with the brakes, drivetrain, or dropper as long as you ride safely and have some mechanical sympathy. My LBS is a Specialized dealer, and they were incredibly helpful in determining which sized bike would be best for me.

I fell between an S4 and S5, and I had a chance to test ride each size multiple times to see which fit best. If you have the opportunity to test ride, I highly recommend it! I did order my bike from Specialized and had it shipped to my LBS, and the delivery was extremely fast, especially given everything going on with shipping and supply chains.

The bike has been incredible, and Specialized’s service has been just as good.

Size – I want to throw out there that I’m 6’6″ with a 39″ inseam, and I weigh probably 230ish with all my gear on. The S6 is about just an inch short for me, but the bike shop says I can remedy that with a longer dropper post.

Experience – I have ridden my 2022 Stumpjumper alloy (Black) S6 4-5 times now. Most of my riding is on moderate (blue) or difficult (black) trails with a mixture of flow/jumps and techy sections. Since 2009, I have been riding a Specialized Rockhopper base model.

I didn’t realize that it was an XC bike, and I was riding it like it was a class 4 trail bike. I abused the S*** out of that bike until the drivetrain and suspension were shot. Thus, the upgrade. With all that being said, I’m loving my Stumpjumper Alloy.

It is an amazing difference. I will recommend if you have the cash, upgrade to the Stumpjumper Alloy Comp (assuming it becomes available again). For the following reasons: – My cable disk brakes on my rockhopper have less travel in the hand lever to obtain the stopping power you need.

I dare say it might actually have more stopping power. New brakes will be one of the first upgrades. – I wish the drivetrain shifting was a little tighter and smoother. However, it has never slipped or failed to shift.

I’m really nit picking here. Overall, it is a solid bike, and I don’t regret my purchase. I would also recommend it to a friend. Just know the braking will take some getting used to. You can adjust the brake lever position which helps.

Realize that you are getting a full suspension class 4 trail bike for less than $3,000. Great entry level bike.

Been riding the Spec SJ Alloy base model for a few months now. Its frame is a bit heavy, very solid and strong, modern feature-rich, aggressive geo and very deft, very smooth handling on DH/XC trail riding.

As the base model, some components are wanting. Upgraded the derail/shifter to GX Eagle for 180, worth it. Later upgrading the suspension for about 1k (wait for a good fork / rear shock on sale) and this beast will be fully decked out.

Brakes are fine but could use an upgrade later. Overall the frame is awesome. Applied full frame protection ride wrap to guard against and scratches or nicks in the paint. Looks amazing, handles buttery smooth on rough descents.

Cant recommend this bike enough if you are ok with upgrading over time. Happy to be riding a very refined full susp bike, a Specialized.

Wife and I purchased a new Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 50 to replace an aging Husqvarna Z4818 that served us very well (566 hrs). We have both mowed our 2 acres with the mower and feel we can provide a good early review.

Pros: Sturdy construction and good design – welded tubular steel frame is as solid as it looks. No flex at all; thus no metal fatigue. The deck is welded rather than stamped steel like the Husky. Although I would have liked a heavier gauge steel, it should be more than adequate for residential use.

Because the frame is so strong, there is no need for a lot of other structural sheet metal that makes cleaning difficult and inhibits cooling of transmissions. Asymmetrical front wheel alignment may be unique and allows you to cut closer to obstacles.

Paint quality seems excellent. Deck height adjustment provide small increments and very easy to set. Easy of handling – turning bars feel very good. Controls are very responsive and smooth. You soon forget you are driving the mower.

You just look where you want to go and it seems to go there on its own. I particularly appreciate the large rear tires. Power – 23 hp Kawasaki engine is more than adequate. We let the native grasses in a large area of our yard mature and set seed in the spring at which time the grass is very thick and 30″ high.

The new mower made a pass at 4. 5 (max deck height) and a second pass at 3. We cut at walking speed and full deck width with no bogging and excellent clearance of the cuttings. The engine didn’t change its tune at all.

Engine makes about the same noise and uses the same amount of gasoline as the B&S on the old Husky. Cons: Seat durability?: Seat is comfortable, but nothing special. It has softer foam padding and a pullover vinyl upholstery that may not be as durable as a molded seat.

Headlights: They are a nice feature, but one popped out of its opening when bumped by a tree limb. Glad they are there though. Final thought: We bought from a local family owned mower shop. It was great to meet them, and I know where I can buy belts, blades, and service as needed.

Big Box stores don’t need the money and won’t service the mower. Buy from your neighbors and at the same price.

So it’s been a year of using my mower. Would I buy it again ? Absolutely. Read a number of complaints about vibrations from the mower deck must be poor installation or unbalanced blades. I have had zero issues with vibration or any part of the mower.

I have 1 acre of grass tons of trees some flat areas some very steep areas and the mower exceeds all of my expectations. Does an excellent job cutting the grass(nice stripes). Did my oil change after 10 hrs of use last year and again the begining of this year no metal shavings visible from break in.

Dealership in Vernon BC(Timber Star) was awesome to deal with would highly recommend them as well. Only complaint hard to drink a beer while mowing with a skid steer but I’ve figured it out :).

This is definitely a nice tool. There is not a lot of negative things to say about it. I did use it outside for the day, I had quite a bit trouble seeing the laser but only when the sun was directly shining on what we were working on.

I think any laser would have struggled in the same situation. My biggest complaint is that it’s only available in a kit and was very pricey. I didn’t really need another battery but it’s nice to have I guess.

What I didn’t need was yet another m12 only charger, they are starting to pile up and collect dust fast. At the price point I would like to have seen the kit in packout case so I could carry it easily with my other tools since it’s only going to be available in the kit.

I like idea of it being stored safe in a case is nice but it would be nice to clip it into my packout to carry it around. That’s something I do need. I’m not a contractor and I’m not using Milwaukee tools to make money.

I just do a lot of home improvements for myself and with my friend. I like quality tools that will last and this another tool in the lineup.

I have been waiting for this laser to be in stock for a while! Bought it at the first occasion, I am a fan of the M12 line. The box is great, everything fits nice and secure. The unit seems to be well built.

The problem: the vertical line (at least pointing to the front) gets too wide as the distance increases. We also see artifacts with multiple “light” lines by the main one. I own multiple lasers (Bosch and DeWalt), and none exhibits this problem.

I’ll be exchanging this unit and see how it goes. So far I am unhappy to be unhappy.

Works very well. Helped me level out some finish work. I really liked to be able to use my revhargable m12 batteries instead of packs and packs of disposable batteries. Highly recommend from big tasks like laying tile to even decorating like leveling out portraits.

The only thing I didn’t like is that it seems too heavy for even the milwaukee brand tripod. Setting it up on a tripod really shows how heavy the device is as you have to hold the weight as you set up the height.

ImpulseRc frames are by far my favorite because they’re very well thought out, tested and they don’t try and follow all of these trends. They’re tried and true and ofc Mr Steve approved which actually does mean a lot because Mr Steele really goes through a lot of testing to find what he likes and once he does, he doesn’t change something unless there’s actually something better so everything he uses ends up working as a system together and works very well.

Back in the day I used to build my Aliens as clones of Mr Steeles and they always flew and worked great for a long time. If you want a solid setup it’s still not a bad idea.

I have been flying many different frames over the years. I hesitated for a long time on the apex because i fly Kiss 32a ESC’s, and those singles wont fit the apex arms. But since i have found a 4-in-1 ESC i like, i figured id give the Apex a shot.

The thought that went into the machining of this thing is truly impressive. The frame is so sturdy! I like that they also give you extras of part like bolts and nuts. Easily my new go-to frame. until i get the new deadcat version!.

This frame is amazing. Very durable and the design makes tubing a breeze. I ordered the base kit (analog) and my vista fit no issue even with nano cam (19mm) I just used double sided 3m on each side of the camera.

If I could change anything it would be chamfered carbon which this frame has none. You won’t be disappointmented and on top of that there’s parts realdily available compared to almost every other decent frame out there.

I just purchased the Orbea Rise M10. It’s the biggest purchase I made on a bike, but it’s worth it. It feels like an aluminum framed bike, not like a bulky e-bike. I like how the torque doesn’t kick in like other e-bikes and it makes you still push and work (at least how I have it set up).

If you get stuck in the wrong gear on a technical climb and slow your petal speed, it will not crank for you. Orbea did a great job to make this bike feel like a normal bike. I’m now able to get more trail in which has helped me cover more ground and improve on my riding skills.

I ride this more like a training bike when going solo riding. I still ride my other non-e-bike when riding with buddies. Pros: lightweight e-bike, feels like low center of gravity, maneuvers well, handles pretty much any terrain, jumps well, comfortable, beautiful composite color finish Cons: there’s a constant clicking sound (i think it’s an internal wire, I heard others complain about this on the forums).

Geometry wasn’t a perfect fit for me (I’m right in between a S/M, long torso and short legs). I went with M because the reach felt comfortable but had to swap out the dropper post from 150mm to 125mm to make it fit perfectly.

The Shimano EW-EN100 light display is hard to see when riding. I use the Shimano E-TUBE/E-TUBE RIDE apps on my phone for display and battery life. I eventually plan on upgrading my Garmin 130+ to a Garmin 830 and use the Garmin Connect App.

Lastly, Mike’s Bike staff were amazing, especially Alex at Palo Alto. I was able to test ride and ask a bunch of questions before purchasing. The bike took 3-4 months because it was back ordered but Alex constantly gave me updates.

Even after picking up my bike and I was contemplating if I got the wrong size. I went back to the store and he let me try out a smaller size and walked me through the pros and cons. Alex’s expertise helped me make the best decision based on my body type and riding style, and I’m absolutely happy.

That uncertainty and what if feeling is gone, such a great feeling. I definitely recommend the Rise M10 if you’re looking for an e-bike that still feels like a bike. Mike’s Bikes staff and customer service was awesome!.

This was my first ebike experience and I was more than pleasantly surprised! I enjoy riding this bike with several applications that I’ll get to in a minute. I also like the three options motor options for eco, trail, and boost.

The boost gives you a bunch of extra torque like a turbo! It helps with steep sections and is responsive. The bike is also actually quite light for an e-bike. A big complaint I hear about ebikes is how heavy they are.

This one isn’t as heavy as most. ————— How I use the bike: recovery rides, with my son, and during pregnancy. That’s not to say that this wouldn’t be a fantastic everyday bike. While I enjoy riding the ebike, my first preference is a non e-bike, but that is just me.

I know many people who only have an ebike and who prefer it. ————— How I use it: Recovery/easy rides: On my recovery days as a professional mountain biker, I sometimes ride the bike so I can ride trails and keep my effort level lower.

It smooths out the hard uphill sections of the trail. I also use it if I want to practice a descent multiple times or if I am exploring a new area with limited time. Pregnancy + family: I enjoyed riding this bike while I was pregnant.

Having the extra help made riding fun again! I also love putting my son on a top tube seat and taking him for a ride! It makes longer rides sustainable. It’s also bike I can loan to family members when they come visit so we can all go ride together.

————— More about the bike: This bike comes decked out with high-end components that translate into high-end performance. It can cruise down really technical terrain and it also has the geometry to climb well too! I was also impressed with the battery life as it lasted several rides.

One note that might be helpful if you have more than one wheelset you want to use- There is an Orbea-specific magnet that mounts on the rear rotor. The bike will not work without the magnet on the rotor.

It took me a very long time to figure it out and there wasn’t much information online about it. Charging: There is a port where you can easily charge the battery built into the seat tube. ————- Whether you’re adding this to your quiver or making it your only bike, there are great uses for riders of all levels and abilities!.
