20 Best Zevia Flavors Ranked (2022 Updated)

I bought the Mountain and Doctor varieties of the Zevia franchise, only to discover that, when I peeled back the label, they were just Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew cans. However, when I contrasted the flavor between the Zevias and regular Mountain Dew and Dr.

Pepper, I discovered they tasted much more. different. I had to find out the answer to this mystery. I ran to the grocery store and bought everything I could. For days, I mixed and matched different ingredients together, but I could never come close to the true taste of the Zevias that I had become fixated on.

Slowly, I began to realize that these drinks are something special. These drinks aren’t made from your run-of-the-mill grocery store ingredients, but something much more dark. I went to the Zevia headquarters in Los Angeles, the city of angels.

There was a strange aura around the building, and the shadow loomed over me, almost like the hand of curiosity, in all its dark nature, beckoned me forth. I entered the building. Obviously, the lobby was nice, and clean.

They had to keep a reputation, even through their shady dealings. But I still wanted to look around. I bolted past the front desk and ran downstairs. “Security!” called the receptionist. I knew they must be close behind, so I ran even faster.

The stairs seemed to go on forever, truly leading me into the belly of the beast. When I made it to the bottom, bullets were raining down on me. I dove into another room, and slammed the door behind me.

I stood up, and dusted myself off. When I looked up, though, my entire outlook changed. Live pigs, legs tied together with barbed wire, squealed as they were carried on a conveyer belt into a furnace.

I hid behind some boxes, and observed. A strange mist came out of these animals, and the mist was immediately canned by some of the thousand workers in this mile-long room. They all wore white hazmat suits.

I ran out as fast as I could, and escaped capture. I think I found out what the mist was. I am a big fan! Five stars from me and my children! The swines deserved it anyways!!!.

In my quest for a healthier alternative to aspartame in most diet sodas I tried Zevia’s and Virgil’s zero root beer. Virgil’s is the best but very limited or discontinued stock means I might be drinking my last.

Zevia does the trick in a pinch but is very sweet, like people have said. I can only really handle the kid sodas and the cherry cola. HOWEVER, I had a huge bottle of orange extract for some reason so I tried some in this cream soda and it is the best thing, very refreshing, somehow cuts the sweetness and tastes just like an orange creamsicle soda.

The grape and black cherry Zevia had just the artificial medicine flavor taste so I could not enjoy those. The lemon lime is ok and I’d be willing to try the orange, maybe adding vanilla extract in that.

The root beer is also ok, it has an almost berry like weird flavor I cannot identify but its fine, not like my favorite root beers at all which have a lovely wintergreen taste.

This @zevia Zero Calorie Energy Drink was on sale at my neighborhood RCSS so I grabbed 2. I gave it a try yesterday afternoon. Here’s what I thought Price: It was a steal at $0. 98 cents. Presentation: I do really like the contrast of the orange and black, however the white lettering does not contrast well and the brand name is not easily picked out.

Taste: ⭐⭐ (2/5), I was really hoping for a stronger mango taste but the fruity taste got lost within the ‘energy drink’ taste. There was also also a weird after taste that comes with cheaper energy drinks.

Overall: Unless you are looking for a energy drink you are hoping to slam back, and not interested in the flavor- only at the price point I found it, would I suggest. In terms of Zevia products, the non energy drinks are much more pleasing.

So I will continue to purchase other Zevia products- but I won’t be going back for another energy drink.

Never really been an energy drink fan before until I tried Zevia. I have been a fan of the grapefruit flavor soda and as such have only been drinking the same flavor in the energy drink. I decided to change it up and go for the strawberry kiwi flavor and wow! Not only is the taste amazing, but I get the same boost and it helps me power through the afternoon slumps without any crashes.

Disappointed, too much coconut. Would have chosen a different flavor if I had known it wasn’t pure pineapple but rather its a bad pina colada attempt. The coconut is overwhelming. Doubling up on flavors isn’t always the best course of action.

A pure pineapple would be significantly better.

I’m switching to this cola! I really liked the taste! I don’t like the way aspartame tastes at all and don’t think it’s very good for us to be drinking anyway. This cola is sweetened with stevia, a natural sweetener.

It taste a bit like diet Pepsi. It’s also clear so no artificial coloring. A little pricey though. There is only 8 cans in a case for about $6.

My boyfriend and I ALWAYS have these in the house. Pop isn’t healthy, but this is a better alternative! It tastes really good! Not really like coke, but I still love it the other flavors. It has 0 calories and no dyes so it’s clear (yay, doesn’t stain! I’m someone who spills everything).

It’s definitely a healthier alternative for pop drinkers.

I was excited to try the new flavors, as I drink all the old flavors except Cola every day. I really thought I would love them, but I do not like this flavor (Strawberry Kiwi) and I really hate the Pineapple Coconut! I ordered cases from the website as the new flavors were not available at my local stores, and now have huge buyers remorse as I am stuck with 3 cases that I really dislike :(.

Got this for relatives that drink Coke Zero,Sunkist Zero, AW Zero and Sparkling Ice all day because Doc said “Get off the Splenda!”. I’ve wanted to try this product myself, but price at regular grocery was prohibitive.

So, when I saw the great price on this variety pack, that we could all try, I was sold. Relatives tried it and were not fans. Mainly, because it DIDN’T have artificial color. At first I was like LOL! But, we taste with all five senses and the sodas clear nature and lack of smell ruined the experience for them.

They also felt that the stevia aftertaste over powered the sodas flavoring. They liked the cream soda, hated the cola. Said the cola was worse than 1970’s Tab cola. I usually drink La Croix, Body Armor and regular sodas.

I have to agree that the stevia in the Zevia over powers the sodas designated flavor. But, I love that I got to try all the flavors at a significant discount. Loved the Black Cherry which I usually hate.

Hated the Grape which I usually love. I will try the Black cherry again. I wish they could tweak the flavor/stevia ratio on the other flavors. More flavor, less Stevia.

Me and my wife, started low carb keto 6 months ago. Been fans of coke, cherry coke, ginger ale, and coke zero versions for years. We both definitely love these just as much! Took a little getting used to, but some call it weak or little flavor? Completely disagree.

I would liken it to comparing coke to Pepsi, mountain dew to mellow yellow, sprite to 7up. In other words, Apples to Oranges! Trying drinking a week, after a few, you can start preferring it. Especially feeling better too without chemicals in standard diet type, and no sugar spikes like others! DON’T KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT;).

They taste great! Love the variety that is offered! If you’re used to the sugar and chemical laden “regular” sodas then you’ll notice a difference in flavor because you’re not used to stevia. My kids didn’t like them at first but this is all I buy outside of coffee.

They drink these now and admit they are really starting to like them. I bet once they’re really used to them, if I handed them a “regular” soda then they wouldn’t like the “regular” soda. They’re a wonderful way to cut sugar consumption and let’s face it… all Americans need to cut their sugar consumption.

If you give them a chance, a true chance and not just one sip, then you’ll end up liking them too.

My partner has Lyme and also has auto inflammatory issues. He needs a non-sugar/non artificially sweetened drink that actually tastes good. With Lyme, quinine is also recommended. So this drink is a godsend for a man who has had to cut everything else out of his beverage list except water and clear tea! His only complaint is that it is much sweeter tasting that ordinary tonic water – too sweet.

He manages it by cutting it with sparkling mineral water, but my personal opinion is that Zevia would sell more cans if there was less stevia. Or perhaps a “bitter” option. Meanwhile, we’ll be buying more of this great tonic water and adding bitters and tonic water and lemon and lime and enjoying it very much!.

So with Zevia as with ANY diet soda you will taste some type of a small after taste. Is it worth it? TOTALLY! I ordered Ginger ale, Lemon lime twist and Cream soda. I feel safe there’s no hidden sugars ,its made with Stevia.

Since I can no longer have caffeine, I tried this soda to replace my beloved root beer (which sometimes has caffeine, sometimes doesn’t). I really like it! It tastes like if Diet Coke was root beer – in that you can taste the fake sugar, but the flavor syrup is still very present.

This is my favorite Zevia flavor, and worth a shot if you like slightly-spicy root beer.

The Zevia Tea Time is a refreshing twist on a zero calorie healthy sweetened tea. It’s got a great taste, the sweetness isn’t overpowering. It’s my new favorite! The flavors are great for something different.

Thank you Zevia for mixing this one up. I don’t feel bad drinking tea from Zevia. It’s great when you are trying to be mindful of what kind sweet things you let go into your body.

I didn’t realize it would be so difficult to find iced tea that isn’t loaded with sugar. Happy we found this option. If you’re used to sugar, the taste of stevia leaf extract may take some getting used to, but it’s a good trade-off for me.

For me, the only negative is the caffeine content – which is only an issue because hubby wants to down multiple of these a day. Zevia does make a caffeine-free version, but I haven’t found it in Canada yet.

I love this tea. I’m not using caffeine drinks. Your caffeine-free tea is the only such tea from any other tea drinks. Thanks and it tastes wonderful. The only glitch I have experienced is when twice I ordered this tea I got 4 cases of caffeinated green tea.

I ordered these on Amazon, I’m reluctant to order from them again.

I stopped drinking regular soda years ago due to health reasons, and wanting to eliminate sugars from my diet. I like an occasional cocktail with rum and Dr. Zevia is a perfect, guilt free mixer! Made with Stevia but not too sweet.

I also love to drink it alone along with a meal for that carbonated goodness. Zero calories! ❤.

I have had mixed experiences with Stevia products and have been trying to ween myself away from my vice which is Diet Coke (I prefer it over Coke. don’t judge!). This has a nice light taste. It doesn’t taste identical to Dr.

Pepper, rather it tastes like carbonated water which tastes a bit like Dr. Pepper (yes I know there is carbonated water in sodas. ). There also was no Stevia aftertaste. Overall it was a nice refreshing drink, but I’m not a big enough Dr.

Pepper fan to buy this again (I just was curious). I’m also not keto. I rarely eat meat, don’t like eggs, don’t eat pork rinds, and don’t want to put butter in my coffee. With a family prone to heart disease, keto isn’t exactly safe my internal body.

I now enjoy this drink. My very first time trying it, coming from Coca-cola products, I wasn’t a fan. However, I came to appreciate the taste. It is a healthier alternative that curbs my craving for a Dr.

Pepper or Coke. I will continue to buy this product.
