20 Best Zinc For Kids (2022 Updated)

This is my go to sunscreen for my kids when in the sun. For beach days, I pair it with the All Good Sunscreen Butter for the nose & cheeks. This sunscreen hasn’t let us down. It’s natural, rubs in clear & my active Southern California kids haven’t had a sunburn.

I’ve used zinc sunscreens on them since they were babies. As they got older, they were insecure because they didn’t rub in and left a white film. My picky tween likes that the All Good rubs completely in and is not noticeable.

I like that it works!.

I had read recommendations about this one. My kids don’t like me to take forever applying sunscreen on them so I thought I would try this spray and I like that it’s a pump and not aerosol. That being said, I still needed to rub it into their skin and I felt it was a tad on the dry side, so took some time to rub in.

It does leave a white cast unless you really spend some time rubbing in. I use a different sunscreen for their face that is more emollient and easy to spread. It seems to have kept them from burning though which is what is important!.

I had been on a mission to find a great sunscreen for my babe that wouldn’t break the bank OR cause any irritation to his (seemingly) sensitive skin! This stuff ROCKS!!!!!!! Does NOT leave a white film behind, has a great consistency and rubs in quickly.

The “coconut” smell is a little much but it very quickly dissipates after its rubbed in. Skin is a little on the sticky side for a couple minutes as it soaks in, but after it leaves the skin soft with no residue!! Even with multiple applications during the day (and forgetting a bath at night) there has been NO skin irritation 🙂 I LOVE THIS SUNSCREEN and will continue to buy it for my little one!!!.

Bought this for a trip with my family out in our area’s lake country. I knew my kids would be outside a lot and I wanted a clean, natural, good-for-your-skin sunscreen option for their cheeks and noses.

This was perfect! It applied easily, didn’t dry out their faces, and even stood the afternoon swim test. I reapplied after about an hour of swimming or sweating and they didn’t burn at all. Very good natural option, I will be buying this again next summer.

I’ve used this on my kids for 2 summers – even long durations out in the sun and we have not had any burns (thankfully)! I love how easy this is to swipe on faces, ears and backs of necks. and my kids love the smell (.

I do too!). My kids have not had any reactions or breakouts from this face stick and even though it’s a compact size, it lasts a long time! It does need some rubbing in and leaves the skin a bit sticky so that sand sticks easily, but neither of these things would stop us from buying this every summer.

I bought this product to use as a general sunscreen balm (mostly for lips in the sun). Great smell and it works as far as sunscreen goes. It does have a white tint (hence the sunscreen). But after a few weeks, it started to dry out and is sticky and now won’t easily apply.

I still use it and enjoy the smell/effectiveness but it’s thicker than at first. I also really like the size of the tube as it’s east to find in a bag or pocket and will be easy to apply in winter with gloves on.

I took one Zinc + Elderberry Lozenge with my food on a daily basis. On opening the bottle, I noticed a pleasant scent of berries. The lozenge is purple and it is almost penny sized. It actually tastes sweet like a candy and so it is easy to take.

It slowly melts in your mouth as you chew on it. Water is not necessary if it is being chewed. I like that this zinc lozenge has a pleasant aroma and taste to it. Unlike with some other zinc lozenges that I have used before, it does not have a bitter taste to it.

The elderberry flavor is pleasant. It is Kosher certified. It is also non-GMO and gluten, dairy and soy free. The packaging is simple and easy to read, it shows that the product is made with simplicity without too many ingredients.

I recommend it because it’s tasty and easy to take.

I have tried several zinc lozenges in the past and normally start them up anytime I feel a sniffle. These arrived right when my husband was diagnosed with covid so I figured I would start taking them early to try to help boost my immune system.

The taste is awesome and they don’t leave my entire mouth ‘numb’ afterwards like some others do. They take several minutes to fully dissolve so its almost like having a candy. In the past with zinc I have run into tummy troubles.

However, I have not noticed anything after using them for several days. While I certainly cannot say it was from the lozenges themselves, I have not gotten sick while using them.

I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from these as I have never tried Elderberry flavor. I was pleasantly surprised with everything about this product. The taste is fantastic. I actually look forward to taking one in the morning.

It’s a chewable tablet that isn’t too hard nor is it too soft. It’s also a reasonable size tablet too. I initially tried it for its immune boosting properties. I’ve only been taking them a couple weeks but I feel great.

I’m happy that I gave them a try. Would definitely recommend.

If you are used to using main stream SPF this will take some getting used to. It does not run smooth over skin so I found best to apply by rubbing fingers over stick then applying to skin esp around the eyes to prevent tugging.

It smells like cocoa butter and did not irritate. It is difficult to remove so I suggest an oil based cleanser first to loosen then wash residue off. If you react to every SPF this is worth a try for those with sensitive skin like me.

Derm recommended because it is so basic.

I also like that it contains more natural ingredients. I plan to always keep some on hand througout the winter season here in MN. By the way, as directed, to avoid possible stomach/gastric upset, I do not recommend ingesting on my an empty stomach as is true of Muscus relief medication.

Never was a believer in homeopathic medicine, but this is an exception. My colds typically last 7 days or more. Took at the onset of cold and my stuffy nose and sore throat disappeared in one day. (This never happened before) til now! This is the fourth time I’ve tried and every time it worked awesome.

Although this claims it’s kids, I bought it anyway and am pleased with my purchase. #1: it has zinc, #2: it is free of fragrance, parabens, and dyes (my dermatologist said must have zinc). This brand has the most zinc in it than any other brand I’ve been researching.

I took this to Arizona on vacation and walked away with no burn, no damage, nothing to worry about. Wish they sold this in a bigger pump bottle. I’ve recently been diagnosed with pre cancerous spots on my face and I am using this as a daily routine.

Use it for driving, working from home/sitting by the window, walking, anywhere the sun hits, I apply. This is a game changer.

Just Average. My Eyes Usually Burn With Sunscreens And This One Also Stung My Eyes A Little. So I Found Myself Not Really Putting It In My Eye Area. I Was Looking For A Sheer Mineral Sunscreen For The Days I Don’t Want To Wear A Tint.

Price Is Ok But I Don’t Think I Will Buy Again. There Was Still A Tint Although A Lot Less Than Other Non Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Products. Had To Apply Just The Right Amount So It Would Blend And Not Peel.

I Found It worked Better If I Put Smaller Quantities At A Time.

I love the idea of stick sunscreen for your face. Just imagine how much easier it would be to put this on little jimmy’s face rather than putting lotion ones on. You have to sit there and rub and rub and it never seems like you got it all rubbed in (not to mention the temper tantrums because he’s sick of waiting to play/get in the pool)! But with this You Can just apply it like deodorant on little jimmy’s face, push him in the pool and not have to worry about the sun!! It’s just too easy and convenient to pass up!.

I did quite a bit of research before I settled on the best type of Zinc to take as a daily supplement. I found this one and started taking it. Luckily, I found this brand, Kal, when I couldn’t get it in the store I’d first purchased it from.

and I’ve been buying it here ever since. It’s the only brand and type of Zinc I’ll take. And as someone who has a compromised immune system, it has helped me avoid numerous illnesses, that I probably would have had otherwise.

So, yes, I highly recommend this Zinc and take it everyday!.

A lot of people experience upset stomach when taking a zinc supplement, and I wonder if it is because most zinc tablets are 40 or 50mg. I love this small dose (15mg) tablet for less risk of stomach upset.

If I chose to take 30mg/day, such as during an infection, I like being able to spread it out into two doses, one in AM and one in PM. (When well, and not in crowds, I take 15mg/day as I get plenty of zinc from my diet as well.

It’s a good dosage size. I lift weights regularly and cycle my training to get the most out of my body naturally. I used to often get crampy when I was pushing myself but with a 3mg Zinc dosage I can take one or two as necessary.

On a relatively light day 3mg’s is enough, then on a big leg day and I can double the dose without it becoming excessive. Too much Zinc can make you feel lethargic or even ill.

I have always experienced problems with cramping when I’m pushing things in the gym. But taking one or two of these and it’s not a problem. It’s a good dosage size, many of them are extreme and zinc becomes toxic in higher doses.

Our 2 year old is everything you ever hear about the “Terrible Two’s” including sometimes not willing to go to sleep very easily at the end of the day. She’s exhausted, but sometimes just can’t seem to knock off.

We (very) reluctantly decided to try these gummies and O. M. G. they worked perfectly! We don’t give a full gummy. we give her half a gummy or less (<. 25mg) 30 minutes before bed and it sends her right off into dreamland.

We also don’t give it to her nightly, as she does oftentimes fall asleep quite easily. We consider these as “backup” when needed, including when we go on vacation in our camper or to places she’s unfamiliar with.

The ONLY reason I’m giving this product a 4 star rating is because he still had a hard time going to sleep but he did sleep through the night. He said the gummies have a great taste. I am going to keep letting him try these out as needed.

I love this company and I was happy to see chewable vitamins for 2 year olds that was a great brand and NOT a liquid. That being said, said THIS STAINS CLOTHES! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. My child, being 2, as we all know, loves to hold food and chew on it.

Strawberries, grapes, etc. They don’t just pop food in their mouth and chew, they like to bite, chew , look at it, and repeat. In doing so, the saliva dripped from their hands onto their shirt. I in thinking, oh well, it will come out.

Once the vitamin was done being chewed, I wanted my toddler’s face and hands, took off the shirt, and threw it in the wash with some other clothes. When the cycle was complete, the red was still on the shirt, so I treated it with stain remover, and rewashed.

The stain is STILL there. Very upsetting that I now I have throw away a brand new shirt (it was the first time wearing it) and go on searching for something else to purchase. My older child liked it so at least the whole bottle didn’t go to waste.

Just really upsetting (and yes my child eats fresh blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries and those ALWAYS con be out in the wash) so just be cautious.

I started taking this after having covid really bad December 2020. I haven’t had a cold since up until this past week Feb 20 to Feb 27. My cold started off bad, but quickly cleared. I barely have a cough now after just 1 week, whereas before it would last for several weeks.

I e gone supplement and vitamin crazy. My doctor has asked me to STOP wasting my money. So when Im done with what I have, Im not buying any more. I assumed it could only help me by adding more collagen to my body.

He insists that since I have no deficiencies – Im just helping my urine be expensive. The worse part about this is that I have a ton load of other stuff – ashwghanda, oreganol, Blackseed (cumin) oil, vitamin D, Zinc, potassium, probiotics, fish oil, silica, wheat germ oil, charcoal, colloidal silver, greens, ginger, garlic, biotin, and at least another 10 more.

I like to take zinc to strengthen my immune system. I’ve heard that elderberry is good for that as well. I really like these zinc lozenges! They taste so good! It’s great that you just take one daily.

Some supplements have you take three a day and that’s just too much for me. The bottle has 90 lozenges, so this bottle will last you 3 months! Huge bonus points! These supplements give me comfort because I’m being proactive about my health.

good zinc product. but still not as good as the other zinc product we tried and reviewed. the other zinc product is the best. this would be our second best zinc product. this is rather expensive but we though we’ll try it and compare.

this does not compare to the other brand we tried, which comes in a huge bottle. but this still has good effects. worth a try.
