This is what my child’s paediatrician recommended for diaper rash. We tried Himalaya diaper rash but was of no use. The rash was so bad that the skin fell off. That’s when we thought let’s order Desitin for diaper rash even if it’s costly.

After using it the effect was instantaneous and the rash disappeared quickly and my child was happy. Now coming to the cost effectiveness. This rash cream is twice the price of Himalaya diaper rash cream but the amount you need to apply is way less than what is needed in other rash cream.

Even a small amount applied spreads to larger surface area. So in fact it’s cheaper than other rash cream. And it works wonders. So thumbs up for this and go get it.

5 Pack Dynarex Zinc Oxide Ointment Skin Protectant No. 1190 1 Oz Each. Met all expectations. Wish it came in larger tubes but otherwise very happy with my purchase. Difficulty finding any size so quite content with what I received.

I liked: works for soothing minor irritations and rashes, and competitive price. I disliked: only 25% zinc oxide. I was expecting 40%. Also, very thick, hard to squeeze out and spread.

I’m a new mom and rarely have time to write reviews, but felt this was important to share. I saw the several reviews mentioning how this lotion gave their baby a rash. Like another reviewer, I also ignored them thinking maybe it was just bad luck given the ingredients look safe.

BIGGEST REGRET. I slathered this on my six month old after a bath, next morning she was covered in an awful pimply rash on her chest, arms and face. This then turned into eczema over the next few days, which who knows how long it’ll take to resolve.

Her face especially looked awful with large, red scaly bumps, when she had perfect skin prior to this. She was so uncomfortable. I cried from feeling awful and regret, so I’d like to spare another baby from this garbage.

Love these clean ingredients for my sensitive babies skin. I also like how smooth the texture is. It is not very thick but I’m ok with that because I love how creamy and easily it glides on. Will buy again.

Make sure you shake it up really good before you first use it and between each application because the oil can separate from the zinc and come out runny.

This ointment works great. It is very effective in getting rid of breakouts. It even helped to clear up a small bump that was noticeable under my eye. Other people who have tried it for skin issues and rashes, including my daughter who has bad acne, all have had much improvement with this product.

Plus I like that it is tinted and blends in well on my face and works great as a coverup that doesn’t rub off. I often will use a little in place of face makeup. Very natural looking.

The cream does have a tint to it, which is a bit darker than my fair skin, but once I pat it completely into the pimple/let dry, my liquid foundation applies smoothly over the top to cover the area with no noticeable darker patch.

I really recommend this stuff, I am only sad I didn’t discover it sooner!.

We have used almost every diaper cream out there, and this one works the best for my little one. She has psoriasis and it took a long time to get it under control! With the combination of medicated topical creams and this diaper cream, her diaper area cleared up! Now we only need this diaper cream and she has remained rash free! (With medicated cream only as needed and very rarely now.

) It also dispenses easily and without a mess like some other creams we have tried.

My baby has very sensitive skin. We love the pipette baby oil and the eczema cream so when I saw a new diaper rash cream was available OF COURSE I tried it. I am so pleased with how this works!! I’ve been using this since birth of my son. It’s always kept him clear and it’s light and not greasy. We went to a humid climate recently and my baby got a bad diaper rash practically overnight! We tried heavy duty stuff the first few days, but then I went back to Pipette, and it cleared up quickly!!! So I used Pipette during the day and the heavy duty stuff for overnights.

I am first time mom so I am still learning about all those products out there. I have a 3 week old boy who had a diarrhea for a couple days which caused rash. We were using Aquaphor Healing Ointment but it didn’t help at all.

I can see using Aquaphor more for like preventative measurements. I happened to have Honest Diaper Rash Cream at home as well and I couldn’t believe my eyes. It pretty much cleared my son’s rash in matter of two days.

I also like how you can apply just a thin layer once you cleared out the actual rash so you don’t go through the cream that quickly. I will definitely repurchase again. #honestbeauty.

WARNING! Created worse rash for my 3 month old. I used this for first time as a Preventative measure, as my 3 month old’s little bottom was fine, however, after an hour or so she was crying hysterically in pain.

We soon discovered, to our horror, upon a diaper change how much damage this cream caused; extreme redness, swelling, verge of blistering! We had gone weeks without any rashes or issues until using this product.

I understand every baby may react differently to different creams but there is some ingredient in this cream that is just not suitable at all! The damage done in such a short period of time is extremely devastating.

We are now dealing with the aftermath of it all and taking the time needed to try to heal her emotionally and physically. We are back to Desitin as recommended by her Pediatrician upon seeing the trauma.

Be very careful and definitely test or think twice. I’m sure your little one will be saved for it.

I love this bum cream for my girls and for my sensitive areas for after shaving. As for my girls, I’ve used other brands and they just dont seem to be good enough in my opinion. The honest brand bum cream is nice and smooth and easy to use.

The contents make me feel like their/my skin is being moisturized AND protected. I feel like that’s important in terms of healing a rash and preventing future ones. I stick by all the honest products I’ve tried over the years from baby to beauty to cleaning products.

They’re all great and worth it! They do what they’re made to do and without all the harmful chemicals. That’s my biggest requirement! Your bikini area and your kids bums will thank you for using this.

Get this one. I cannot recommend it enough! Less chalky than Penaten and less oily than Sudocrem. Spreads easily. If your baby has non severe (ie needing a prescription) diaper rash, use this regularly to treat and prevent future rashes.

Once I went zincofax I could not go back to any other brand.

The only bum cream I will ever use! We used to use sudocrem when she was first born. We’d put it on after every diaper change, but then baby got a blustery raw diaper rash. We switched to zincofax and it cleared up within a day!! Now, I just apply it before bed and she hasn’t had a rash since!! A little goes a long way and it’s very affordable!!.

I used this for both my kids. When they were young I used it for diaper rash and when they were older I used it as they were potty training and got rashes from not wiping properly. My mom used this on me and I used it on my kids.

I tried a few other “more natural” brands on the market but always came back to this one as it usually fixed. The problem after 1 or 2 applications.

I’ve always used balmex for my children, It heals and prevents diaper rash and skin chafing the best! Now I recommend it and occasionally use it for my nieces and nephews There is nothing better and quicker in clearing up diaper rash and I’ve tried many.

I’d give this no stars if I Could. Not sure if this is usual but the cream is so hard to get out of the tube!!! Even after massaging the tube it’s so tough to get any product out. Then once I finally get it out it’s not even a smooth texture it’s almost grainy / hard like.

I had to try and smoosh in between my hands to get it to be even somewhat of a texture to get onto my baby’s bum. Im going to stick with destin and ad.

Awesome stuff!!! Absolute must have for WHEN (not if) your LO is dealing with a satan’s spawned diaper rash from hell. Every new mom needs to keep a supply of the best diaper rash cream that they can get their hands on so when their LO is suffering through a gastro illness with back to back soiled diapers and their little bum has gotten so red and irritated that it is starting to crack and bleed ( a bum that therefore needs only the BEST treatment that will provide the most immediate relief) mommy will be baby’s super hero by already having the best cream that can provide the most relief on the spot.

That’s a win win for both!! Normal desitin and similar creams are worthless when your LOs rash gets to this kind of awful level. Let me just say for those of you who don’t know, without an effective heavy duty ointment baby and mommy will not be getting ANY rest because baby will be miserable nonstop until they get adequate relief from such a painful rash.

Do you have an issue with a rash where the sun doesn’t shine? I can get irritated along the strip of skin where your leg meets your private bits. It can be from wearing menstrual pads for weeks during menopause or for ladies who have to wear something everyday for bladder leaks.

I put this cream on after a shower and hallelujah – no more irritation.

The packaging on this is great (you can actually squeeze most of it out of the tube, unlike some brands where you end up with half stuck in the package) and cute, and I love that the company is Canadian and environmentally friendly.

The cream seems to work well but it has a strange grittiness to it that I worry could be irritating to my kid’s skin. I really want to like this but I’m not sure I’d buy it again.

This is what I use on my baby for diaper rashes. Its a thick formula, soothes instantly and protects all night. I apply a thick layer over the area and by morning its still there. I have used A+D and Boudreaux’s Butt Paste but I find this works better for my baby and lasts a lot longer.

Already done half of the 16oz container in 4 months.

The product is great, the packaging less so. Care needs to be implemented into the packing. Both times I’ve received this ointment, there has been an issue with one or more of the containers. Lids not on tight that came off during shipping, cracked and damaged containers.

Two times, issues in both boxes.

Serious game changer in our house! My 1 yo gets awful diaper rashes because of food allergies and crazy sensitive skin. Nothing was helping. It was to the point he was bleeding. The doctor didn’t even know what to do.

I ordered this huge jar on Amazon for like $9. After just 2 days of using at every diaper change he was back to normal! I aae good things about using it for Eczema also so going to try that next.

Balmex was recommended to me in 1970 after I had my first child. Now 52 yrs later I am ordering this to be used on my 3mo. Old Granddaughter. I know it will work. Rainy that then I wrote a letter to the company that makes Balmex to tell them what a great product I thought it was and how well it worked.

I suggested having it advertised in some of the baby magazines you might see laying around a pediatricians office. I never ever saw this advertised anywhere and the only reason I knew about it, as I said before it was recommended to me by a doctor friend.

I never get here from the company but I remember when I was using it I used to order it from the pharmacy in a can as all that they carried were the tubes and not much of it it just seemed odd to me that such a great product was not advertised more good for me it’s still being made.

I’m no reason I liked it versus other diaper rash ointments I had tried is that Ball mix was easy to come off whereas some of them were very difficult which I understand now is good so that it will adhere to the rash but at the same time it hurts to rub it off.

Just so happy to see that it’s still on the shelves today and that I can buy it for my granddaughter as I know it will work.

I agree with the previous reviewer, that Balmex baby is the best for adults as well. I took care of my mother for many years, before she passed, and it was always the best for keeping her free of rashes and pressure sores.

Many other formulas melt away quickly, but this is more substantial and lasts. (A thick application is important. ) Now I’m taking care of my mother-in-law, and it’s my first choice. It’s difficult to find locally.

I’ve tried ordering it from Walmart, but it was so poorly packaged and all of them broke open in transit, All Star Health packaged them so well that it would be very difficult for the shipper to damage them.

My son developed speech slowly after taking this. My son was 7 years old, almost non verbal, diagnosed with adhd. I have tried many natural things to help him. Then, I remembered when I was a child, I used to get dewormers, and also my classmates.

In the US, they don’t provide this, or at least is not a regular thing to do. A few days ago, I gave dewormers to my dogs, I found maggots in there after their medicine was given. I see that it is time to provide this to my family again as a preventive measure.

They say that if the dogs have worms, it can be passed down to humans. Why take the chances? I’m just going to give them another dose. I’m pregnant, so I don’t think I can take it, but they will. It is a huge coincidence that my son developed his speech after this.

My dogs feces started looking like sandy consistency… and I had a feeling they had worms. And yes, after I gave them the medicine (dog dewormer) they showed the maggots in their feces. So, seeing this, I am taking the precautions of deworming my family with this pinworm medicine.

First I had to take care of the dogs, then once they are cleared, then I’ll administer the pinworm medicine…. When I go to MX I get a broader dewormer medicine, the ones that fight not only pinworms but at least 2 more kinds.

Since is hard to get medicine like that in the US over the counter, I’ll settle for only the pinworm one. When I asked our pediatrician, how come in the US is not common to deworm the children as they do in Mexico.

His response was, that MX was an underdeveloped country and there were more parasites. However, to have parasites, it doesn’t take much, eat undercooked seafood, undercooked eggs, poor hygiene, etc And boom, you got them.

Instead of looking for a root problem on diseases, we just treat them in the US. Over medicate for depression, adhd, and have to deal with the medicines side effects. etc Look for parasites in you, it might be the root problem to your depression, over eating, mental fogginess.

Etc I was raised in MX, so this is a commonly recommended prevention on families. They actually have a ton of commercials about it. The Red Cross used to administer dewormers at the schools. All I know is that it was a huge coincidence that my son finally developed his speech shortly after taking this.

One dose did not heal my pinworms. I went to the doctor since this medicine didn’t work and there was only one prescription they could give me. It is $900. 00 for two Enverm pills. Apparently the company that made that medicine sold the rights to the recipe to another company.

And since they are now the only ones who make it, they thought that instead of healing others and selling it for a reasonable price by doing the right thing, they would instead make the price so high that really no one can afford it.

My insurance refused to pay and I don’t blame them. This may work on someone who has just recently gotten pinworms. I have had them for over a year and didn’t know what was wrong this entire time. So, they have had a lot of time to travel all throughout my body.

They actually eventually live in the throat and muscles of the body also. I want to list some of the symptoms that I had because many of them were not online and that is why I didn’t think it was worms.

I hit the recommended button here because it did work for a few days, but then they came back.

My 3 year old son refuse to swallow. that thick yellow paste. Spit it out all over the floor. Even after drinking honey, the yukky taste still in mouth like melted chalk. I took it, but he didn’t and there was only enough for 2 separate dose.

So I don’t know how a whole family can take this. Also it was my first time using so I’m not sure how this medication supposed to look or if I got an old batch. is this supposed to be thick paste?!! Lumpy after multiple shaking.

I use this for everything!!! after shaving bikini area it relieves dry bumpy itchiness immediately. Dry skin on my face. Sore itchy hemorrhoids. Heat rash. Apply to Qtip and apply inside dry nasal cavity in the winter months.

LOL yes, I have many issues and have used more products than I can count. This is the only product that works. I’m surprised that it only claims to be for dry skin and diaper rash. Seems it should have a list on uses.

This ointment was given to us by a caregiver who tended to bedsores and other medical skin irritations. She said it cleared up issues in a day or two. And she was right. Summertime brings with it problems like chafing, sweat leading to irritations, bug bites etc.

Calmoseptine clears up most issues in one day! Its an amazing product with numerous applications. I had a small burn that was itchy and not responding to antibiotic cream. One application of calmoseptine helped heal the burn better than aloe.

Babies must be changed often and aired out much as possible. Babies urine and poo are harmless. They’re mostly on a liquid diet until about 3 months. Even with getting cereal or baby food no issues with smell like adults so let their skins breath some before diapering them again.
